After getting an online review on this last week I followed up with my Sales and Finance dept. It was not a miscalculation on sales tax but it was a county tax from his home state of Wisconsin that he did not make us aware of. Our title clerk was getting the paperwork ready for the
state and found it online when we informed him there was an additional tax to pay to the county he said he had paid all he was going to pay. He was informed it would be an issue with the state and we would send it in but expect it to be sent back for lack of funds. The customer had a chance to make this situation right and refused to pay his taxes not us. If we had know about this tax a head of time we would have collected it. We are a Virginia dealer and we know the tax law here very well. When dealing with out of state customers we always ask if there are any additional taxes we need to know about. There is nothing further we have to offer in this situation as he was well aware before any paperwork was sent he would be responsible.I would recommend though instead of traveling from Wisconsin to WV to use *** overnight as it would be a savings for both cost and time. Sincerely,Nat A***

Revdex.com spoke with Mr. [redacted] from the business. If the customer's coach is still until the extended easy care warranty whatever is covered under those terms would be covered. The business has not seen this coach in a year but the customer can bring the coach back into this business, or any dealer that services easy care warranty to be serviced. They are more than welcome to make an appointment to being it by to be looked at and go forward from there.

Walin, The customer has received the refund already for the warranty cancellation.  The Gap cancellation should be arriving in 7-10 business days to the customer. Thank you, Ed S[redacted]...

Called business spoke with Mr. [redacted] he stated that the repairs were done by 10/24/2017. With the exception of the blind which was sent to the consumer.

The customer was offered twice for us to winterize his unit.  We asked and he said no twice not our fault.  He dropped off on a sat and it was looked at Tuesday and parts where ordered Wednesday as he was shown.  We do not control when parts are shipped from our vendors and the...

dates we ordered were shown to him. At the time that it could take a few weeks due to the holiday.  When his parts arrive we will ship them to him as he requested.  When we make a mistake I will not back away from our responsibility.  We never told him it would take a week in fact he was told it would take several.  We asked more than once if he wanted it winterized and he said no and signed off on the work order.   Even though we offered to help with fixing of the frozen unit he took exception to our service dept and left a scathing review for what I can not find anything we did wrong.  As I stated when his parts show up we will send them out.  That is all we are willing to do.

This incident took place a week and a half ago and your unit is still here.  So I am not sure what arraignments you said you had made but my manager was correct in not allowing you to take your items with out picking up the unit as well.  You were given an estimate over the phone for a...

front tongue jack and coupler.  When you dropped it off you did not mention it was across the street at another repair facility and had been totaled due to an accident.  It is a 17 year old camper with no insurance or NADA value. When the bill is paid and the tow company picks up the unit to take back to you you can make arrangements with them to get your belongings out of it.

The shower door panels were replaced by our technician, the customers issue with the shower doors were fixed. The panels did not come with the framing so the framing was not replaced. The issue with the toilet was signed off and customer was satisfied with the repair at time of pick up. If there is still an issue with the toilet we will certainly take care of it. We will offer a discount on the parts and labor for the shower door repair for the fact that we did not keep the original parts the customer requested. the information was not relayed to the technician.

This issue has been resolved directly with the customer.

In regards to the response I got from McGeorge. This is not a car that you use every day. When I received the RV following the repair, the slide was closed which covered up the work that was done. This was done during the winter months and we did not use our RV till June of that year. This is after their 90 day window to file a complaint about their work. We went to a campground in Virginia Beach in June and opened the slide and saw the linoleum tear visible to us for the first time. We did not report what we saw because the summer months are the time we use our camper the most and didn't have time to wait for the 4 to 6 weeks it generally takes for them to complete a repair. After the summer I returned the RV to them and explained to them that the tear had not been repaired. This is a linoleum surface not a generator. Either The linoleum has a tear in it or it does not. As they clearly must know from looking at the RV as it sits in their shop right now, there is a large tear in the linoleum. Their timeline is irrelevant, either they fixed it or they did not and as can clearly be seen...it is not fixed.

Mr. [redacted] called April 19, 2015 to arrange service to clear an outside drain line.  He was quoted $210 to clear the line.  When our serviceman Andre arrived at Mr. [redacted]'s house he dug to expose the drain line and discovered that it was made out of non pvc material.  The drain...

line is almost corrugated material which is very weak and subject to getting crushed over time.  The equipment we would normally use has a cable with a cutter blade on the end to cut through debris and sludge, but this equipment rips right thru the thin wall of the type of drain line that Mr. [redacted] has.  Short of digging up the entire line and replacing with more sturdy pipe, we offered to bring a high pressure water jet machine out to flush out the line.  The price for this service is $700.  We do not charge a trip charge or a service charge for our services, but in that we did respond to the call and did some work to expose the type of pipe the customer has and propose a solution that the customer declined we felt justified in charging him $90.   Mr. [redacted] feels that the charge is unwarranted, In the interest of customer satisfaction,we are refunding the $90 to him.

When [redacted] called Monday, Jan.22, 2018 she was told that the person she needed to talk to would not be in the office until noon.  She told our office that she did not want anyone else coming out since she had booked a 1 pm appointment with another plumbing company.  John from Allied...

was given the message when he started to work at noon, but he chose to wait until about 3 pm to call [redacted] in the hope that he could find out what the other company determined concerning her sewer line.  Before 3 pm apparently [redacted] had already complained to Revdex.com that nobody had called her.  That did not really give Allied a fair chance to resolve the matter.  Regardless, we have sent refund of $220 to the customer in the interest of customer relations.

There was nothing provided in a sense of resolving the issue. Just say I wish there was a LEMON LAW that covered RV's! This dealership is showing no responsibility toward us, the consumer over the quality of the product they sell. We feel if things were fixed right the first time (windows/decal) some of these issues would no longer be a problem. Windows weep hole were mentioned to the manufacturer by our new service rep, not the manufacturers or your service reps. Let it be known that we had set an appt. to bring our RV in for repairs since we live in North Carolina, 269 miles away (538 round trip) and the service dept. knew the nature of repairs needed especially in reference to the damaged floor caused by the slide. Parts could have been ordered before hand. It wouldn't make sense to take it up there to figure out what parts would be needed and to bring the camper home - unable to use it anyway since the slide would scrape the floor. Now the sides of the camper are showing severe signs of delamination! Resale value of the camper just went out the window. This camper is less than two years old and should not be having these issues. That is why we either want a new camper to replace this one or our money back. We take care of our property, so why make comments about current state of our camper. We had to find a closer service center to help us fix issues because McGeorge's couldn't. If we would have known that we would have been treated this way, through poor service and the attitude of not caring for the customer, we wouldn't have bought this camper at McGeorge's.

Attached is the info on [redacted] cancelation.  As you can see our system with EZ-Care shows it is canceled and cancelation date is 4/2.  We also sent the check to BOA on the 6th of May and how they handle the distributions of funds to their deals I do not know.  It is the 13th today so allowing for mail they have had the check for 4 or 5 days. I spoke with our F&I dept. in regards to this and Mr. [redacted] was told it could take a week or so for the cancelation to take effect and it shows we did our part on the 2nd of April.  He was also told as all customers are we send out a check as soon as we receive funds back from EZ-Care.  You can see we got ours on a check dated 5/4 allowing for mail we got it after we had cut and sent out his refund to try and expedite this matter.      As with all cancelations of financed options to a deal the money goes to the bank not the refunded to the customer and it does not change the monthly payment only the ending balance for payoff and as I said I cannot control how long a bank takes to show that to that account.  I do know that as an example a credit card charge shows right away when charged but can take up to 30 days to show a credit back.  I would like to know who Mr. Burk talked to so I can see why he is getting a different story than what we are showing.   Sincerely, Nat A[redacted]General Sales ManagerMcGeorge Rolling Hills RV11525 SunShade LaneAshland VA, 23005800-462-2856 ext [redacted]n.a[redacted]@mcgeorgerv.com

Nat provided an update regarding this case. The customer's parts have come in and other than the key lock, which the customer is working directly with the service writer to resolve the parts have been delivered.

This camper has already spent too much time in repair facilities. Too many issues noted with this camper, and now delamination. Which I don't think is covered under the extended care. This camper had water leaks from the initial time we bought it and was not fixed under McGeorge's care.

As we have explained prior.  The $[redacted] dollars was due to the bank as a payment was due during the period we would be making the payoff which is up to 10 days (we send it out not when the bank applies it)  He was told to make the payment so as not to hurt his credit with a late payment....

This is why he got a refund from the bank for the over payment of what he paid and when the payoff was applied.  If he had not made the payment we would have had to collect the $[redacted] dollars here as it was part of what he owed on the unit.  Either way the $[redacted] would have been paid to the bank.  Either by him paying us and and we add it to the payoff and we paid the bank or he paid the bank directly and all overage would be sent to him from the bank.As for his insurance it was explained to him that he needed insurance on the new one because he had a loan on it and on the trade because it was still in his possession and needed to be covered by insurance till he turned it over to us.
