Stonegate sent an updated HUD correcting the escrow mistake so that my insurance is included in my monthly payment For my trouble, they also applied a credit of $toward the settlement charges This negated the $I had been short to close, and left me with a $credit, for which they overnighted me a check The funds were received in time to payoff the loan in August, so there are no lingering issues from this incident
