Advanced Roofing Team Construction

Patrick ***, my Claims Specialist, was great! He worked with us and the insurance company to make the process of getting our hail damaged roof replaced fast and easy. Once the insurance adjuster approved our claim, Advanced had a team out here within in a few days. We have a fairly large and complex roof, yet Advanced got the whole job from tear off to re-shingling done in a single day.

We had advanced roofing come out two years ago and replace our roof. They did a wonderful job! We wanted to make sure our roof wasn’t leaking around our chimney (we had work done on our chimney) and they came right out! They checked and caulked where it needed it at no cost! Back in 2011 I called a few places compared prices and Advanced roofing was the best option. I got my roof replaced and I also ended up getting siding (which came out really nice). I was very pleased. This year we noticed that some of the shingles had come apart, Advance Roofing came to take a look at it and fixed it without charge even though it was over my warranty period. We live in Elk Grove Village and our entire area was hit by that bad hail storm this summer. Within hours, we were inundated by contractors looking to get our business. It was obvious all of the homes in our area had pretty extensive hail damage. After contacting our insurance company, they told us to pick a contractor we were comfortable with and suggested using the Revdex.com and ***. My husband did some research and had Advanced Roofing and another company come out. We dealt with Peter. We decided on Advanced, and I'm very happy we did. We needed a new roof, all new siding, new gutters and downspouts, trim around the windows and a copper awning replaced. Peter was knowledgeable and got up on the roof with the inspector from our insurance company. He led us through the process and helped us pick out products for siding and roofing. Once we made our decision, he called to say he had a siding crew available and would do the siding first. The men did an excellent job! My husband, who is very handy and very picky admired the workmanship. After the siding was completed, Peter stopped by and wanted to be sure we had gutters and downspouts installed next in case it rained. The gutter guys came out and the roof was last. The siding guys also did the trim around the windows. We also had a shed in the backyard that had to have a new roof and siding too. Actually the last step was the crew who came out to do the copper awning. Peter followed up with the insurance company and made the entire process very smooth. We were so happy with their work and got so many compliments from neighbors, we recommended them to several people and it resulted in at least one additional job for Advanced. I would highly recommend Advanced if you need any work done. A pleasure to work with, excellent work, a job well done.

I can't say enough good things about Peter and his crew. When other roofing companies didn't feel confident working on my flat roof the guys from advanced roofing stepped up and their experience really showed.
I've had other contractors working on my house and the guys at advanced roofing are the only ones that seemed professional. They came early every morning, cleaned up any mess that was made and finished the job in a timely fashion.
When other roofers suggested quick patch jobs Peter went out of his way to tell me how it should be done right and made sure everything was done to code. I feel very confident recommending them to friends and family.

Excellent workmanship. Mark was wonderful...always kept in touch to keep me updated with what was going on. The workers who replaced my roof were great and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. And as I said Marco was on top of everything. He explained everything to me. Great company.

Adam told me I had damage on my roof, to call my insurance company. Adam said he would be there when the adjuster from the insurance company comes. Adam did not come, he sent Mark, which did not know where the damage was, only what Adam told him. Mark went along with what the adjuster said, which he said I did not have damage. They Wasted my time, and the insurance companies time.

My *** broker recommended Advanced and said that he used them himself. Mark the claims specialist came out and explained the insurance process and we reviewed the insurance adjuster's findings. And there was absolutely no pressure from him. The work was begun soon after. Janice is the inside coordinator, facilitator, (not sure of her title). Both Mark and Janice were fantastic. I cannot say enough about their response to questions. Janice seems to be working 24/7 because she responded almost immediately regardless of when I e-mailed. The crew was very professional and did quality work. I am a very handyperson and I can tell they cared about what they were doing. They applied the attention to detail and focus in the right areas and made sure things were done correctly. Unfortunately due to my bathroom ceiling fan vented moisture into my attic for 15 years, almost all of my roof sheathing had to be replaced. Once I gave them the go ahead to just replace it all they added 2 more guys to the crew and they removed the old roof and sheathing and replaced the sheathing then the tar paper all in the first day! Second day was the shingles. The cleanup was great and the whole project was over in 2 days! I would not hesitate to use Advanced again and will wholeheartedly recommend them.

I had a couple of roofers come out to give their evaluation of my roof after a recent stretch of severe weather and they were all ready to “write it up” a claim with my insurance company. When Peter showed up and did his evaluation, he was very honest and noted that he did not see as much damage as the others. That it would not be worth opening a claim. I took his advice and was thankful for his honesty. Then along came a severe stretch of hail, wind and rain storms over a two week period and many homes in the neighborhood got damaged. Peter and Advanced Roofing was my first call. Peter and his team did an outstanding job despite the wet summer. I consider myself lucky that Peter showed up way back when to initially inspect my roof.
