We entered into an agreement with MrRick E*** of Advantage Construction to finish our basementMrE*** repeatedly delayed completion of the project despite receiving payments and recently notified us that he would no longer be able to complete the workHe has been paid more than $54,for services and has only completed about $23,worth of work based on his own estimateHe has not completed about $31,worth of work and materials, including tile and cabinets he described purchasing for us but has never delivered
In addition to this amount owed to us, several sub-contractors have reached out to us for payment for services MrE*** sub-contracted from them and did not pay to them

Review: My husband I received a price quote from C[redacted] to refinish two of the bathroom showers we have. He completed work on the weekend of August 8th. A few days later is when I noticed there were areas in the guest bath shower that were peeling off. I attempted to call and email C[redacted] numerous times to tell him about the issue so he could come and fix it. I had to have my husband call C[redacted] from a number he would not recognize so we could get an answer. C[redacted] came out to our home on August 28 to look at the peeling areas and said it would be no problem to come and correct the errors. He stated he would be at our house on August 24th at 6 p.m. to complete the work. Needless to say C[redacted] did not show up. We did not receive a call or email. Since then we have been calling and emailing C[redacted] and could not get an answer back. Today I decided to call from a friends phone to see if C[redacted] would answer and he did. He asked me how I was doing and I explained I was upset that he hadn't showed up as promised. This is when C[redacted] starting acting agitated and tried to tell me that I should be happy about the other bathroom that he had done that didn't have any issues. I told him that I had a right to be upset about the uncompleted work. This is when C[redacted] started getting irate and stated that he was out of town attending to his sick father, I told him that I completely understand that personal emergencies come up and that I was upset about the lack of communication on his part. This is when he stared shouting numerous expletives at me. He then said " IF YOU EVER CALL THIS EXPLAITVE NUMBER AGAIN I WILL COME AND DESTROY YOUR HOUSE" C[redacted] is a dangerous man who threatened my person and my home. You do not want this man anywhere near your home. The sad thing is that I received C[redacted]'s number from a friend who had used his services before. Please make sure to do your homework before hiring anyone to come and do work for you. A personal referral is not enough nowadays. I will be filing a complaint with the authorities and the Revdex.com. AGAIN WATCH OUT AND DO NOT USE CASTLE REFINISHING!Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund for the services rendered and do not wish to be contacted by the business owner again since he threatened me and to destroy my home.
