This company is a scam!!! They offer illegitimate and unlawful promises, including promising to consolidate your loan and/or supporting the loan forgiveness act passed by ObamaThey present themselves as having a legitimate relationship with the board of education, but the board of education has no relation with them what so everNo loan provider should EVER charge you to file your loan application, I did not know this!! They are out for your money, will steal it, act as though they are assisting you in your loans, but all the time, they will keep your monthly payments for their own gain!!! Do NOT do anything with them!! They were able to get $from me, before I realized I made a mistakeThank God I caught on quick!

Advantage Student Loan Center takes any and all complaints/reviews very seriously We have a dedicated compliance department monitoring and reviewing all incoming and outgoing calls in order to maintain the highest level of customer service in the industry The individual whom is filing the complaint was never enrolled as a client and has never done business with the company We use multiple marketing companies that use direct-mail solicitations, radio, internet and email to generate leads for the student loan industry We are told that the marketing companies using direct-mail as a way to generate calls, use many different response models using proprietary algorithms We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and have removed this individual from our system and put her on the do not call list for the company

Advantage Student Loan Consolidation takes any and all complaints / reviews seriouslyWe have a dedicated compliance department that monitors and reviews all incoming and outgoing calls in order to maintain the highest level of customer service in the industry Ms [redacted] mentioned in her complaint that she was concerned she was being scammed because our company is not a government agencyHowever, our business practices are wholly based on compliance and consumer protectionWe never take any upfront feesAll funds are held in a dedicated trust account under the client’s name with full access to said account until the service has been performed successfullyWe are not in the business of scamming people which is why we offer a full money-back assurance After reviewing all the recorded calls, at no time did anyone say that her Private Loans would be included in the process It is made very clear that the documents we prepare are for Federal Student loans only, though verification process and the documents that the client receives and signs before submitting the consolidation Even though this was a mis-understanding on Ms [redacted] end, the fee’s including account set up fees were refunded in its entirety A lot of times servicers will include Private and Federal loans on the same statement which will make it very confusing for individuals to decipher the difference, so we do understand her frustration in this process We have reach out several times and are waiting a response Many of our clients attempted their own applications prior to contacting usThey found that the forms were confusing and the questions asked did not always correlate to their specific situationsAfter receiving letters of denial or, even worse, higher payments than they were paying, those very same clients contact professionals like us because we are specialists that can make sure the application is done correctly and accurately the first time

I was contact by a guy name *** and I gave him all the information he needed to pull up my student loan from a letter I got in the mailAfter *** reviewed my application he says I could pay $dollars a month for my student loan payment for 10yrs with a $filing fee paid up front, I told him I would think about this and call him tomorrow and he said if he didn't hear from me by the next day he would tear up my applicationI did my research and discovered this company is a scam and if your trying to help me why would I need to pay that much money up frontI want all my information deleted from their database ASAP

could have completed this on her own.
However she chose to use us as a service to complete the documents on
her behalf. Shirley Kitchen agreed
through the compliance call that she understood that she could complete this on
her own.We completed Ms Kitchen’s IBR
program request through her servicer’s on 8/5.
At which point all work was completed as agreed between the client and
her new program. After confirming with
Student Assist Plus, her program was cancelled as she requested.Many of our clients
attempted their own applications prior to contacting usThey found that the
forms were confusing and the questions asked did not always correlate to their
specific situationsAfter receiving letters of denial or, even worse, higher
payments than they were paying, those very same clients contact professionals
like us because we are specialists that can make sure the application is done
