I was so thrilled, and relieved, to learn the intricacies of all the repayment options available to me. Thank you, Richard, for your patience and understanding. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This business did not deliver services as promised. They told me I  was approved for a loan forgiven program, and would only have to make 120 payments up 10 years.  When I contacted my server, Nelnet, I  was informed  that I was never signed up for a loan forgiveness program, just a income- based. My server, Nelnet gave me the forms I needed to apply for loan forgiveness program. This business did nothing for me, but took my money.  I want my money back.

was concerned she was being scammed because our company is not a government
agency. However, our business practices are wholly based on compliance and
consumer protection. We never take any upfront fees. All funds are held in a

account until the service has been performed successfully. We are not in the
business of scamming people which is why we offer a full money-back assurance.
After reviewing all the recorded calls, at no
time did anyone say that her Private Loans would be included in the
process.  It is made very clear that the
documents we prepare are for Federal Student loans only, though verification
process and the documents that the client receives and signs before submitting
the consolidation.  Even though this was
a mis-understanding on Ms. [redacted] end, the fee’s including account set up fees
were refunded in its entirety. 
A lot of times servicers will include Private
and Federal loans on the same statement which will make it very confusing for individuals
to decipher the difference, so we do understand her frustration in this
process.  We have reach out several times
and are waiting a response.
Many
of our clients attempted their own applications prior to contacting us. They
found that the forms were confusing and the questions asked did not always
correlate to their specific situations. After receiving letters of denial or,
even worse, higher payments than they were paying, those very same clients
contact professionals like us because we are specialists that can make sure the
application is done correctly and accurately the first time.

people which is why we offer a full money-back assurance.We reached out to Ms. [redacted] immediately upon receiving the complaint.  She had already spoke to her bank whom already issued her a refund.  As stated in her settlement request all fee's have been returned and her trust account was closed out.  All information has been purged from our systems and she has been placed on the do not call list.

Hi,I'm writing in regards to complaint #[redacted] I filed last week about Advantage Student Loan Consolidation. I received an email outlining a contract between the two parties that needed to be provided for the complaint to be continued. Most of the communication was through telephone but...

attached are the documents they sent me that needed to signed and returned. Along with some of the documents, a receipt is also included outlining when the amount was withdrawn. Outside of these documents I don't have any other tangible records outlining the whole transaction. However, it is important to note that their processing center has a detailed outline of key dates and communication between myself and different representatives for the company. Included in the outline is the manager promising me a refund. Any other questions or concerns don't be afraid to contact me for more information.

We reached out to [redacted] to discuss her complaint.  Upon reviewing the call, Ms. [redacted] was correct in her claim of the employee being very pushy.  This behavior is not something that we condone nor hold as a value.  After careful consideration the employee was released from his role with Advantage Student Loan and is no longer working for the company.

pieces of personal information in order to evaluate a person’s options
accordingly, we do not “abuse” anyone’s personal information. In regard to Mr.
[redacted]’s personal information, all information has been deleted from our
systems and he has been placed on both the “do not call” and “do not mail” list.

no claim or affiliation with the Department of Education, after careful review of the
call the agent did stated that, “We work on your behalf with the Department Of
Education.”
