We are still in the process of getting this matter taken care of Unfortunately it has taken longer to get resolved then we anticipated! However, the owner will continue till the end He regrets any inconvenience this may have caused and will personally contact the customers to let
them know it has been taken care of and thank them for their patience and understanding.

We are happy to report that we have reached an ending to the lien matter Mr& Mrs*** should be receiving a letter of notification in the mail as to the resolution of this matterMatter of fact I would be surprised if as of 3/21/they have not already received the letter We are relieved as we know that the *** are to have this finally at an end This took a lot longer than we EVER wanted this to go on and are hoping we can build the trust and good relationship we had in the past with the ***

This vendor was hired to repair many items in my home They completed the initial project to my satisfactionMysteriously, after their visit my stove was missing They deny taking the stove, but they were the only ones to enter the home during the time that the stove went missing and they were the only ones with a key to the homeI do not believe this vendor to be an dishonest group and would discourage others from using them
Other damage was done to the home and they would not return and complete the other work, after the stove was taken

I apologize for waiting to respond but I wanted to make sure Mrs***'s room renovation was taken care of before my response I am glad to report that Mrs*** is complete and has paid in full! Unfortunately with big jobs like hers communication sometimes goes array and as I
told Mrs*** I am glad she brought it to my attention We value are customers and want to be told we are doing well and especially when we are not doing so well It keeps us striving for better and brings to our attention what needs to be improved I hope she will use us in the future and we look forward to dealing with her in the future! I also hope that she knows that we are here if she needs anything.
Sincerely,

We regret that Mr*** experience with his chimney removal has caused him so much frustration and his trying to communicate the issue with us has been so stressfulWe would like in anyway to help with his stress in this matter That being said Mr*** states that the chimney contractor confirmed the old flashing was the cause I did not see in the first complaint that they confirmed that, I just read that they noticed that it was observed that the old flashing was not removed and more flashing was installed and it was sealed more If this was the case it would of been in his best interest to take pictures and call immediately to let us know and document what was found We were under the impression that the chimney contractor verified that the chimney needed to be removed in order to take care of the problems that were occurring If Mr*** would of taken pictures and called to let us know what was found it would of been good for us to know as well so we know for quality control purposes what to make our installers and foreman aware to make sure it is needed to keep an eye on so that particular part of the roof can be taken care of The non warrantied part of roof was because we did not remove the chimney and the fact that another contractor did work on his roof and in doing so removed or tore off the shingles in that part of the roof is not under warranty The warranty for leaks and/or anything pertaining to our installing will most certainly remain intact and will be honored As far as the shingles being delivered we regret that we did not have anyone at that time that could bring them to Mr*** and we were under the impression that he was needing them as soon as possible Our foreman did tell him if he was needing them right away he would have to make arrangements to have them picked up If the foreman in anyway made his response out to where Mr*** was offended I most definitely apologizes and will make the foreman aware that is not how we wish to make our customers feel I feel that this incident had several misunderstandings and do offer to come out and fix the area that he is not happy with We can order the shingles in the future if for any reason he does want the starter cap instead of the Architectural shingles that look out of place In closing, again we want to make all our customers happy and realize sometimes miss-communication occur and we want Mr*** to know that if he needs anything or has any questions we would certainly want a chance to make him happy
Most Sincerely,

We will most certainly see to it that Mrs***'s leak be taken care of and any damage due to leak be taken care of as well It is unfortunate that sometimes we do have cases where we have unforeseen problems that will occur However we do stand behind our warranty Even tho we
may not be able to respond immediately we will make sure we do take care of it and any further damage due to not being able to get to the leak in a timely manner We only have person whom does the roofing repairs and because of this we sometimes will get behind especially when we get storms or an unusual amount of rain We have every intent to take care of Mrs*** and will do so and hope we can satisfy her where she will trust and use us in the future That is our goal We know we can't be perfect but we want our customers to know that we value them and will stand behind our warranties for the entire time they are intact!
Sincerely,

In answer to Mr***'s complaint I regret that he had to take it to this measure I do want to explain about the contracts that we print up and what we go by on the insurance summaries When we go out to give estimate we have a template that we use for contracts which consist of Ridge
vent, Drip eave, Flashing and Ice shield All of which are either extra or if needs done it will be done However, when we go by insurance summaries we will only do what the insurance company states what they will pay for If the customer wants ridge vent or drip eave or ice shield or flashing they will pay extra for that if it is not stated on the insurance In Mr***'s case the flashing was not on the insurance summary which means they did not include flashing in with their cost Many times with flashing if it is not leaking there is no need to remove flashing that is intact and performing to replace with new In doing so you do risk a future leak That is also why most insurance companies will not include it We did do a lot of extras for Mr*** for no additional cost and we did go out and paint the flashing and at that time Mr*** told our foreman he was happy with how it look He told him it looked good We did our best to make sure Mr*** was happy and wanted to make sure he had a good roof that is warrantied and performing as it should We did not charge Mr*** for flashing because the insurance did not pay for new flashing We hope that Mr*** above all this is happy with the appearance of the roof and is secure in the fact that we consider him a valued customer that can call us if he has any problems in the future

I am glad to report that we made an appointment yesterday for us to come out this morning and fix the leak that had occurred I regret that I did not see this at the time I called because I could of assured Mrs*** that we do try and get to the leak repairs as soon as we can however we have
to factor in we have to order the torch down and not a lot of people carry it or have a lot in stock Also we had an additional problem this past week with raining every single day which put our roof repair man behind terrible Mrs*** called Monday (6/23/14) to tell us of the spot that she noticed that formed and she then called me on Thursday (6/26/14) to let me know that the spot seemed to be getting bigger and was gonna have to use plastic to cover some shelves I did let her know that our warranty will cover the inside damage as wellWhatever is needed to be painted or removed due to the leak we will take care of that as well I don't think she was aware of that That is also a reason why we try to get there as soon as possible due to the fact the more damage it creates the more we are going to have to replace at no cost to anyone but ourselves The frustrating part is the heavy rain every afternoon and the fact you must do torch down roofing in dry conditions that will remain dry for several hours after it is completed We do have pictures of the tile that was damaged and that of course will be replaced as soon as possible so it's not an eye sore We hope to be doing business with *** *** in the future and look forward to serving them for many years to come
Very Sincerely,

Mrs. [redacted] is a valued customers of ours and we will most certainly take care of her needs.  We do get behind unfortunately because we only have 1 person whom does our repairs and/or service calls and with the storms we have had and the freezing weather it tends to put him behind even more....

However we will take care of Mrs. [redacted]s leak and if she has any damage to her interior we will take care of that as well.  Mrs. [redacted] can rest assured she has our warranty and we will be there to take care of her roofing needs and anything else she may need.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

This has been a case of miscommunication and we can make sure we learn from this.  Mrs. [redacted] apparently is not aware of sub contractors and how we can send them to jobs to take care of any service calls that we need taken care of.  By us sending the gentleman out to her job that is a response from our company to take care of her concerns.  The gentleman told Mrs. [redacted] he was there to represent our company.  Also that the damage to her home was not enough to claim on her insurance.  She had asked him because she discussed with him her deductible.  Mrs. [redacted] only mentioned her warranty with us in the office and that is why we mentioned the builder that built her home.  They are no longer in Albany but are in Leesburg.  Which we did contact and they had not been informed of this.   When finding out what vinyl was on the home we are not able to get it unless we get it shipped and that would be an extra added cost which we knew Mrs. [redacted] did not want to pay.  Our sub went out at her request and put the siding back up and tacked the other pieces up as well.  This will insure that the wood behind will not be damaged, and will not be damaged in the future.  This was at the customers request so she would be secure that she would not have to worry about her house not being protected.  In the future if she wants to change the color we will be more than happy to help her.  Also this not being a warranty issue we did not charge Mrs. [redacted] to go out and first check it and then for our sub to go back out and tack it back up.  Which just to state we did have to pay our sub to do so.  He charged us for 2 trips.  It is our goal to make sure we can make people happy with their repair work or storm damage as happy as possible and the process is with as little stress as possible.  We do realize that people take their homes as their biggest investment and their security so we want to help as much as we can.
Sincerely,

This situation can go back and forth...Advantage Vinyl and Siding needs to step up with their customer service skills and hire some more people to help satisfy their customers. If this problem comes again.

When I first called June 8 and explained to them I had vinyl to pop a loose...not sure if it was from wind damage or not..they said it will be at the end of that week before someone could come out...While I waited and weeks passed, I called Plantation Builders (they are not out of business as they stated) Plantation builders told me they no longer deal with Advantage Vinyl Siding due to too many customer complaints about what I am dealing with...Yes they sent a guy out, who does not work for them to look at my problem. He didn't say it was wind damage. He did call me today to state that he could not find that kind of vinyl..Still this is not Advantage helping me this is someone who is an independent contractor who had time to come out and look at the problem...The name is no longer Alcoa its Mastic....some of there products are still sold in Macon and Tallahassee. The vinyl on my house comes from Advantage Vinyl and Siding. No one from their company has come out as of yet....they are always claiming they are all to busy. Now at first my vinyl was just popped a loose...they took to long then it was hanging...Not sure if it was wind damage or not...the guy who came out said it wasn't enough damage for wind damage..now he is trying to say it is according to the response text..Current status-the guy did come out to tack the vinyl in place and to put the cut off piece back..I told him I just want my house protected and to find the color that is closest as possible. Even though I was frustrated, I did not curse at [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was told the rain diverter needed to be removed and that they did not need to order parts. So I do not understand the delay. Either way better communication would be key. It is ridiculous the amount of excuses we keep getting. Everyone is nusy for the holidays,  everyone has family issues. I'm not trying to be insensitive but if you don't have enough staff to cover this, that is your problem and should not delay my repair. Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards,
[redacted]

I apologize for the delay in responding I have been gone due to heath reason and have now returned.  I have found out that our foreman has gotten behind and was not able to fix the problem last week however he has EVERY intent to make sure this problem is solved. This is unusual for us because...

we are working with a skeleton crew and with the holiday approaching it seems more and more personal problems are hitting us.  I appreciate the patience that Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] has had in this and I want them to know that we fully intend to take care of this and follow thru with the warranty that they most certainly have intact.  I have been informed that we are getting the rest of the material in and will be going to complete and fix the problem.  I also apologize that  they have not been called and given some information and reassured they have not been forgotten.  Our foreman is going a little slower than normal due to not having the people we usually have. (We have 2 crews now when we usually have 6.) Plus he is currently expecting their first child due anytime so bless him he is trying.  Also the man we intended to fix has had some emergencies fall to him as well, which has made it harder on our  foreman to get more things taken care of.  We will be taking care of this ASAP and will be contacting Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] as to when we will be coming to fix this for good!  Again we appreciate the patience and understanding and are working out the delays so we can be the best we can be for our customers!!
Merry Christmas and may God bless,
