Upon review of [redacted] account, Affinity verified that the [redacted] ACH debit posted with an 11/13/settlement date, 11/13/is the date it was debitedAn Affinity representative left a message for [redacted] to provide the information she requested; however, to date has not received a return callAffinity’s Online Banking disclosure outlines that funds must be available on the scheduled payment dateIf the payment date scheduled falls on a non-business day (Saturday, Sunday, or holiday), funds must be available in the Bill Payment Account the following business day (e.gMonday)

After investigation, the actions taken by the credit union have been validatedThe member was days past due as of 8/23/17; therefore her request to modify her credit report has been denied and a deficiency notice has been mailed to the member

Affinity has been experiencing very high fraudulent credit card activityThe fraud monitoring system identified the member’s credit card activities as those with a high fraud score [redacted] account has been credited for two ATM surcharge feesAffinity consistently evaluates the fraud rules to minimize member impactWe apologize for the inconvenience

On June 8, [redacted] inquired about refinancing his AcuraIn order to follow the guidelines for refinancing, a credit inquiry is requiredA representative from Affinity Federal Credit Union reached out to [redacted] via email although to date has received no response

[redacted] can call our member service center at [redacted] to speak with a representative to confirm her payments and loan balance informationCharged-off, inactive loans are not viewable online

The Loan Administration Department is in communication with [redacted] ***Details will follow

[redacted] applied for an auto loan through [redacted] which advises that they will share this information with up to “partners” one of which is Rate Genius Because the application was sent for approval the member’s credit was pulled and therefore shows up as an inquiry from Rate Genius Rate Genius and Affinity are partners

Affinity Federal Credit Union’s Funds Availability Policy states that funds from a deposit made before 4:pm on a business day are available same business day. Funds from a deposit made after 4:pm are available on the next business day. On 9/16/at pm, ***
*** deposited two checks into her account via mobile deposit. The funds were available on 9/19/16. The Affinity staff will move to clarify the information presented in the Policy and appreciates that the member took the time to bring this to their attention

After reviewing the call with *** *** it was clear the Affinity Federal Credit Union representative read the details of the Combined *** *** Disclosure (also sent via regular mail)A line from the disclosure reads: “Total to Recipient: CZK”*** *** agreed that the statement read
to him was correctIt is also noted in the disclosure that once a wire is sent out by Affinity and received by the recipient’s bank, additional fees and foreign taxes can be deducted; therefore, the recipient receives less than the amount of the wireAffinity has credited *** *** account for the reversal of the International Wire Transfer Fee

A representative from Affinity emailed *** *** on July 20, at 9:amOn June 8th *** *** inquired about refinancing his vehicleThe inquiry initiated a credit checkIf the member needs a copy of the email we would be more than happy to forward it to him
