I'm sorry that you are experiencing issues with the vehicle.  I spoke with your mom for a short time and she only stated that there was a check engine light issue, failure of chip repair and a faulty visor.  I was unaware of any of the other problems.  All vehicles are sold as is...

with no implied or stated warranty.  Warranties are available to purchase to help with repairs after purchase.  We do allow all customers a 3 day exchange and in your case since the vehicle was delivered to you, you would have had a 3 day right to rescind.  These timelines are very strict and cannot be changed.  As for the trade vehicle, if the car would have been returned within the 3 day window, we would have had to return the trade even if we did work to it.  Outside of the window, the truck would have to be purchased back through the dealership.  After the conversation with your mom, her parting words were you will be hearing from my attorney.  I did ask her for the name of the attorney so that I could talk to him/her and go through the details of the purchase so that they could explain to your mom how a contract works, why this is not a lemon and what recourse she would have.I would be more than happy to speak with you or the attorney going forward.Nicole P[redacted]###-###-####

I am sorry if you feel we switched vehicles on you, however, all documents contained within you file indicate the same vehicle was shown to you and delivered to you.  This was the Jeep with the 4 cylinder.  If you test drove other vehicles, the 4 cylinder was the vehicle that the bank approved and was delivered to you.  If you would like to upgrade to a 6 cylinder, please contact me and I can set you up an appointment to trade your current vehicle in and purchase an upgraded model.  Nicole [redacted]

As a company, we cannot foresee any repair issue happening on a vehicle in the future.  As a customer, you have the right to take the vehicle for a third party inspection to see if there is anything on the vehicle that is mechanically unsound.  The State of Wisconsin directs us to do a safety inspection on all vehicles, but that does not mean that we have to take apart the vehicle looking for issues.  If the issues do not present themselves during the inspection then we cannot be held liable for maintenance issues with all used vehicle purchases.  The warranty that you purchased should cover the transmission if the actual failure is a covered item under the warranty.  If the warranty company (which we do not own or control) is not responding to your issue, I would suggest writing a letter and sending it certified to them giving them a chance to respond before proceeding against them in a civil manner.  This is your right as a customer, however, we are not a party to this matter. 
Also, we do stand behind the vehicles that we sell, however, when an issue presents itself 3 months or so after purchase we do not get involved.  We would offer a diagnosis and an estimate that may include a discount as a goodwill gesture, however, all vehicles are sold as is with no implied or stated warranty.  I am sorry that you had issues with the vehicle, however, it is outside of our control.

I have reviewed your complaint and your service history and find that you did complain about a front end issue a few months after being in the vehicle, but that issue was unable to be duplicated.  However, when you complained about the brakes, Russ Darrow provided a front brake service and...

machined the rotors, which apparently took care of the problem because it was not brought up again.  Your vehicle has been in for services on the following dates: 11/1/16, 11/14/16, 11/21/16, 12/6/16, 12/12/16, 12/17/16, 12/20/16, 12/26/16, 1/10/17, 2/27/17, 3/2/17, 8/29/17, 11/21/17 and lastly on 11/24/17.  These service issues ranged from oil changes, windshield wiper repairs, warranty repairs etc.  There was not multiple complaints of the same issues in your history.You purchased a used vehicle with did not have an implied or stated warranty by Russ Darrow.  You may have purchased an additional warranty to cover mechanical issues with the vehicle or their may have been manufacturer warranty left, but Russ Darrow sold the vehicle as is.If you would like anything fixed by Russ Darrow, I would be more than happy to offer you and this vehicle a 15% discount on parts and labor.Nicole Pieper, Corporate Paralegal

I’m rejecting the response to my complaint because it’s very clear that paralegal didn’t read my complaint clearly. As stated in the complaint I contacted Russ Darrow several times and was told inaccurate information regarding how to receive my vehicle maintenance plan serveral times by their employees prior to coming in August 29. In the response to my complaint the paralegal stated that she does not see where the delay was. If my vehicle was stolen in June it should not take until October to give myself or Zurich the information needed to complete my claim. Also it shouldn’t take me calling the company for two months before they instruct me to come in to get the process started, that information should have been told to me the first call I made to them in June. As a mother, full-time worker, and full-time student I wouldn’t waste my time filling a complaint for a process that only took 8 days as claimed by the paralegal.

technician from the company cannot be dispatched immediately.  As such, you requested that your Maintenance be cancelled.  I will start that process on your behalf.  You stated that you would pay for the one oil change that you received, however, this is not necessary.  You received 3 free oil changes at the time of purchase, so you will be receiving a refund of the full purchase price less a cancellation fee.  This refund will be sent to your lender to offset that principal balance remaining on your loan.  If you have any other difficulties in the future, please feel free to contact me directly.[redacted]###-###-####

While I am not downplaying the significance of what happened pertaining to the intercompany form and your signature, I am stating that the reasons you brought the vehicle in and what the deductible was for has no impact on anything that may have happened with employees of the Russ Darrow Group.  The contractual relationship with your insurance company requires you to pay the $500 deductible.  I will not waive or refund any part of this due to the "extenuating circumstances".  The form which displayed your signature is an intercompany form that does not get provided to anybody and does not leave your service file.  While I understand your frustrations, the scratch that was realized was old and had dirt and debris in the line.  As a courtesy to you, we fixed this free of charge and installed additional items on your vehicle free of charge.  The fraud was handled according to Russ Darrow protocol and no additional compensation will be extended to you.  We all value our "signature" no matter what type of employment we are in, however, you are looking for something that does not fit the circumstance.  If there are quality issues with the work that we performed through your insurance company, we will gladly review and potentially rectify those concerns.[redacted], Corporate Paralegal

[redacted]  My issue is the quality of the brakes and rotors why they didn't last that long the front brakes and rotors, and the rear brakes and rotors  never lasted past 12 months that's my concern they keep giving me the same diagnosis of needing brakes and rotors , I should not have to keep getting the same repairs every year plus I don't have a lot of miles on my car , when I bought the car from Russ Darrow August 2013 it had approx. 34,000 miles and now currently I have 55,000 miles so please investigate this issue Revdex.com.
