Last week, Affordable Plumbing and Heat installed a new furnace for me Beforehand, the tech explained in detail what was wrong with the old one and gave me helpful options for a replacement I never felt pressured to buy anything above my means The men who installed it were courteous, prompt and skillful I've used Affordable many times in the past and have never been disappointed I have and will recommended the company to friends and family
We've used Affordable multiple times for our plumbing and heating needs They have always been timely, pleasant to work with, and very professional [redacted] *peformed our winter furnace check in and again this year along with a main line cleaning [redacted] is very thorough and answers all my questions All of the service people who from installing a new thermostat to installing new toilets have been friendly and professional I trust Affordable Plumbing and Heating They've given me no reason not to
Chuck was our technician He was professional, concise and knowledgeable Every aspect of the repair went well and I was informed and remained informed The company itself must encourage such an attitude and I am grateful that everything went so well
I had Affordable Plumbing & Heat install a new gas water heater The installation required a city inspeection The inspector never came over on the scheduled day I called Affordable Plumbing & Heat, and found out they never requested an inspection as promised in the price proposal and again by the technician I explained how I had to take the entire day off since they wouldn't give me an am or pm arrival time for inspection When I requested to speak to a manager I was put on hold only to get repeated responses from the dispatcher that "a manager will be with me shortly." I was never able to speak to a manager nor did I get resolution for an inspection Their work was efficient and reasonably priced, but as this job requires an inspection it cannot be considered complete I would caution use of Affordable Pluimbing & Heat if the job requires an inspection
[redacted] and [redacted] just installed a Rheem Hot Water Heater for me I called in the morning and had it installed by 1pm on the same day The customer service was great I had checked other avenues and kept running into dead ends But Affordable was so competent and efficient I will not use anyone else I am happy with the product and happy with the service [redacted] and [redacted] thank you for your friendly service and easy explanations Thank you also for saving me some money I would definitely use Affordable Plumbing again

I called Affordable Plumbing & Heat, Inc on Monday evening and they were at my door next morning as promised between am-noon [redacted] did a good, quick job removing a leaking ManaBloc (hot water side) and replacing it with a new unit A new unit (Viega PureFlow Zero Lead Manabloc) costs $online with free shipping Affordable P & H charged me $for time (less than hours) and materialAdditional charges were Trip fee of $plus Acquisition fee of $ I did receive a 5% Senior Discount My feeling is that the markup on the Manabloc was excessive OR the labor charge was excessive Can't really tell from the invoice as the charges were not listed separately I may get estimates next time I have a similar situation
I wish to thank Affordable Plumbing and Heat for demonstrating good customer service to a long-standing customer (and referrals), as they advertise, when they followed up with me on an unfortunate set of circumstances A job that had been started was not completed because of more than one factor including lack of communication A manager, Chad, contacted me after he had obviously done his research and homework before calling He was very professional and personally made a house call and everything has been resolved for which I am grateful
Jeremy and Troy Rinstalled a new tub in our bathroom remodel They were professional, went out of their way to insure they were listening to our needs, and completed the job with beautiful results They kept the work space clean, and when we had an unexpected plumbing emergency, not related to their visit, they helped correct it as wellI would highly recommend them for any plumbing work

I wanted to replace a generic [redacted] thermostat with ***, but it turned out that [redacted] required a common "C" wire to charge its buibatteryAfter a few hours of DIY trials and errors and a blown furnace fuse, I called Affordable Plumbing & HeatBrandon Varrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem with wiring, clearly described my options, made suggestions, and re-wired the whole system Brandon was well-spoken, knowledgeable, courteous and tidyAs an added bonus, Brandon left me with clear instructions on how to replace a blown fuse if I should ever want to play with wires again
I had Affordable Plumbing and Heat out to fix a clogged sinkThe technician came in and used a snake to clean out the lineWe ran some water down the drain and it seemed to be workingdays later while rinsing dishes, the sink again started to back upI called them to let them know that what they did didn't fix the problemWhile talking to them, I was informed that the technician had recommended that they water jet the lineHe never mentioned this to me, I would have remembered a discussion on an additional $199, nor was this additional service ever discussed when I first called themNow they want the additional $in addition to the original $to clean out the lineI am not complaining about the price since I haven't researched what other companies would charge and these maybe reasonableThese guys seem to operate like many of the carpet cleaning services around townThey tell you one thing, then of course, when they get there it is going to cost you a lot more
On 09/08/Jonas [redacted] came to help fix an outside facet that was leaking extremely bad Unfortuntly, there is no shut off valve so we were losing a lot of water When Jonas came he was very upbeat and nice Jonas explained not only what happened, but what I could do to fix it He gave me two options and the first one was to "patch" it and the second was to fix the actual problem So, I had my options and I felt in NO way forced to go the cheap or expensive route Jonas was able to shut off the water fix the facet and leave a great impression again for my family We have used Affordable a few times and have been very happy I feel great with my decisions after the tech leaves Thank you so much I do believe that Jonas is an extremely hard worker and should be commended for his work ethics God Bless Jonas and Affordable!!
Due to a lightening strike I had to replace a furnace and some air conditioner parts [redacted] came out, diagnosed the problem, gave me a written estimateOn the scheduled day, [redacted] called, showed up when he said, installed new unit, figured out air conditioner issues and fixed everything They both were friendly, very knowledgeable, and professionalNo surprises or hidden items on the bill at completionWill use them for all work in the future
