This is in response to your Revdex.com inquiry Afni appreciates the opportunity to respond to the consumer’s concerns This response covers two accounts; I will address them individuallyOn July 18, 2017, [redacted] forwarded the subject account, [redacted] account #: [redacted] , Afni, Incaccount #: [redacted] , with Afni for collections on the balance of $1, The account is for cellular services established on May 26, 2016, until [redacted] considered the account delinquent on September 25, The billing address associated with the account is [redacted] , Chicago, IL 60609, and the phone numbers are [redacted] and [redacted] Afni mailed the initial notice of the account on July 21, 2017, to [redacted] , Hammond, IN 46324, and did not receive notice of returned mail On September 3, 2017, Afni furnished the credit reporting agencies with notice of the account On September 18th and September 22nd, Afni received a dispute from the credit reporting agencies, reviewed all relevant information, and responded appropriately On September 24, 2017, Afni updated the credit reporting agencies on the disputed status of the account On October 10th, Afni received a letter from the consumer disputing the account In response, Afni ceased communication and initiated an investigation On June 27, 2016, [redacted] forwarded the account, [redacted] account #: [redacted] , Afni, Incaccount #: [redacted] , with Afni for collections on the balance of $Please note that this is for bundled services and all equipment charges are not included in the balance Afni is collecting upon The account is for satellite services which [redacted] considered the account delinquent on August 22, The billing and service address associated with the account is [redacted] , Gary, IN Afni attempted to mail the initial notice of the account to the consumer on July 1, Afni received notice that the address was incorrect and did not receive an updated address On August 28, 2016, Afni furnished the credit reporting agencies with notice of the account Between September 18th and September 22, 2017, Afni received multiple disputes from the credit reporting agencies, reviewed all relevant information, and responded appropriately On September 24th, Afni updated the credit reporting agencies on the disputed status of the account On September 18th, Afni received a letter from the consumer disputing the account In response, Afni ceased communication and initiated an investigation Afni received subsequent letters from the consumer on October 4th and October 10th In response, Afni continued to cease communication and continued the investigation On October 11, 2017, Afni received this complaint In response, Afni continued to cease communication and continued with the investigation Afni has attached copies of the account billing statements for both accounts to this response; these are provided as validation of the accounts To address the consumer’s concern, Afni has attached the consumer’s [redacted] lease agreement with the consumer’s signature Afni mailed the initial notice in regard to the [redacted] account to the consumer on July 21, Afni did not receive notice of returned mail, and as a result, can infer that the notice of rights was received The accounts have not been purchased by Afni Afni received the accounts from [redacted] and [redacted] , respectively, and acts as an agent on behalf of [redacted] and [redacted] ; therefore, the consumer would not have a contract with AfniAs the consumer has requested, Afni will no longer contact the consumer about these accountsAfni has sent a request to the credit reporting agencies to remove the [redacted] account from the consumer’s credit report Please be aware that it can take the credit reporting agencies anywhere from to days to update consumer credit reports Afni has no control over how quickly the credit reporting agencies update consumer credit reports However, this does not mean that the [redacted] account is not due and owing, simply that Afni will no longer furnish the account to the credit reporting agencies In regard to the [redacted] account, Afni understands that the consumer is seeking removal of this tradeline from their credit report; however, to remain in good standing with the credit reporting agencies and to meet our obligation with [redacted] , Afni’s policy is to furnish the accurate status only Afni trusts this response has addressed the consumer’s concerns, but if questions remain, or if he would like to discuss the account, he may contact a Consumer Relations Specialist at [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: AFNI is asking me to produce documents from 05-06-a 06-14-for proof of residencyI was not working nor were/are any bills in my name I live with my grandparents and everything is in their nameHowever my drivers license has always been registered at that address my whole years of livingHow am I suppose to produce documents from 2011?

I am rejecting this response because: All they did was send the billsThey didn't send any documentation about the count for stations that I had with AT&T about them dropping the early termination charges

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.For the "Record", please note that the origination date of the [redacted] U-Verse account was from It also DID NOT list my name on the account - just stating the account was from this address.Also equally importantAFNI stated that they has requested that all (3) credit agencies remove this from my credit reports long ago however, even stating that an account from 2009, with no name (just an address), was admittedly removed from the credit reporting agencies long ago - they still tried to get me to pay a bill I have never owed I have lived in my home for (14) years and havealways had [redacted] AFNI are liars!!! Yes, I accept AFNI response to never contact me again and that they will never use this bogus [redacted] account issue to try and bribe me again

This is in response to your Revdex.com inquiry Afni appreciates the opportunity to respond to the consumer’s concerns On December 26, 2017, [redacted] forwarded the subject account, [redacted] account #: [redacted] , Afni, Incaccount #: [redacted] , with Afni for collections on the balance of $The account is for satellite services which [redacted] considered the account delinquent on July 13, The billing address associated with the account is [redacted] , Lake Placid, FL Afni mailed the initial notice of the account on or about December 28, Afni has not, and will not furnish the subject account to the credit reporting agenciesOn December 29, 2017, Afni received this complaint In response, Afni ceased communication and initiated an investigationAfni has attached copies of the account billing statements to this response; these are provided as validation of the account To address the consumer’s concern, Afni has only placed one call to this consumer, which occurred on December 29th Afni searched its account management system for any other accounts that may be linked to the telephone number in question and removed the number As an extra precaution, Afni has also added telephone number [redacted] to its internal do not call list, which should prevent further calls being placed to this numberAs the consumer has requested, Afni will no longer contact the consumer about this accountHowever, this does not mean that the account is not due and owing, simply that Afni will not furnish the account to the credit reporting agencies Afni trusts this response has addressed the consumer’s concerns, but if questions remain, or if he would like to discuss the account, he may contact a Regulatory Specialist at [redacted]

This is in response to your Revdex.com inquiry Afni appreciates the opportunity to respond to the consumer’s concerns This response cover two accounts, I will address them individuallyOn August 4, 2017, [redacted] Communications forwarded the subject account, [redacted] Communications account #: [redacted] , Afni, Incaccount #: [redacted] , with Afni for collections on the balance of $ The account is for services established on December 15, 2013, until [redacted] Communications considered the account delinquent on February 20, The service address associated with the account is [redacted] ***, Oklahoma City, OK Afni mailed the initial notice of the account on August 8, Afni has not, and will not furnish the subject account to the credit reporting agenciesOn September 25, 20017, [redacted] Communications forwarded the subject account, [redacted] Communications account #: 017423313001, Afni, Incaccount #: 067213455-01, with Afni for collections on the balance of $ The account is for services established on April 17, 2014, until [redacted] Communications considered the account delinquent on July 25, The service address associated with the account is Northeast 37th Street Apartment A, Oklahoma City, OK Afni mailed the initial notice of the account on September 26, Afni has not, and will not furnish the subject account to the credit reporting agenciesOn October 5, 2017, Afni received this complaint This was Afni’s first contact with the consumer In response, Afni ceased communication and initiated an investigationTo address the consumer’s concern, Afni has not, and will not furnish the subject accounts to the credit reporting agencies In regard to the consumer’s concerns regarding allegations about Afni on the internet, be assured that Afni takes every consumer complaint and dispute seriously Afni investigates each account thoroughly and, if applicable, offers the consumer validation of the account in a timely manner Afni is aware that some websites portray Afni’s reputation in a negative way; however, Afni does not respond to consumer inquiries made in public forums in order to protect the privacy of consumers As the consumer has requested, Afni will no longer contact the consumer about these accounts Afni made a business decision to cease collections and return the subject account to [redacted] Communications Further questions regarding the account should be directed to [redacted] Communications

I am rejecting this response because I do not believe the phone number referenced in the bill was active in and I would like time to research on my own before responding to AFNI and their claim a payment for a past due bill is required
