AIR MILES Reward Program

Booked a vacation package at a 5 star resort that was not as per brochure, and numerous issues with the flights on ***.I will attach letter trying to send Air Miles if possible.

I booked a car rental through airmiles. I now have a medical emergency, so I had to cancel the rental. I tried to get my points reinstated, they would not allow this unless I paid $60. It is not worth it to pay an additional $60 to get the miles reinstated. I can purchase a similar item for merchandise on the airmiles website for less in a store when on sale,
It takes so long to accululate these miles, and they are very useless

I booked a spa experience because I was told that my points were going to expiry. The certificate arrived and I did not notice that there was an expiry date on it. It should have been in large print not tiny print so that I would know. The certificate has expired and is useless now and I am out 2525 points. I tried to speak with a representative from Air Miles and that was not possible.

Ordered a Citizen watch three months ago and never arrived. The shipping company said they never received it. Contacted AirMiles about a month ago and they said they have to investigate which takes about 4 weeks !!! The time expired and still no watch, no refund, and customer service has no idea of the status.

Booking flights with Airmiles entails a charge stated s "fees and taxes" yet a breakdown of these charges is not made available until after a flight is booked. Bookings cannot be cancelled. A customer service Rep responds to queries simply by stating, "those re the rules"

And these fees & taxes are 50% of the price of booking through the airline direct. Refusing to disclose price details reeks of a deliberate policy of hiding the truth!

! I was forced to book a flight because my miles were going to expire. I booked a flight taking no insurance because I could not put back the expired miles at any point. I was unable to take the flight and notified them well in advance of the booking..By this time they rescinded their order but they would not put back the miles of a flight not to be used. They offered to extend the time , but because of illness I could not utilize the offer. I lost the points but I asked for the tax of approximately $117.00 to be returned to me. They said it was non refundable!!!! ***. they have no right to keep the tax on an unused ticket.

I am missing 2,200 air miles on my account. Contacted air miles and they refused to do anything about it, and said that there is nothing they can do. They cannot not put the air miles back on my account! You are air miles!!! Don't feed me that bs and tell me that you can't put the air miles I am missing back on my account! ***, will do nothing for their loyal members. I am an onyx member who has been with them for a long time. They do not care about their members at all! So upset with their service.

What's the point? If you don't collect all of the time and want to transfer Dream miles over to your spouses account. It comes with a charge!
***. $20 per reward mile and it costs almost $40.00 to transfer over 223 to a family member. I get admin fees but per mile it cost's $0.30/mile. ***. Anyway for this company to make a quick buck.
To have customer service tell me "For the Future" set up an account with my spouse.

I have just had an excessively frustrating experience with the Air Miles Reward Program! It proved to be impossible to contact them on the day of a flight that had to be cancelled because of illness. I tried the Customer Cr several times (X-XXX-XXX-XXXX) and received a lengthy series of automated instructions. When I was instructed to say my choice, the system was unable to understand either my voice or my husband's. When I got to the end of the list, the wait time was said to be 21 mins. first time, 11 mins. second time, 27 mins. third time etc..... There was not an option to stay on hold no matter the length of the wait time. The only option was to set up a call-back time. When the automated voice stated what it thought was my phone number, it was incorrect. I went through the entire process again and this time the earliest call-back time available was the next day! That was useless. I haven't even been able to find a way to register a complaint with Air Miles directly. The one positive part of the entire experience was my conversation with a Chat Line rep. She did what she could but even she was not able to get me through to anyone on the day in question.
