Air Specialty is one of the most professional companies I have dealt with in the last years Justin and Michael were very accommodating and most helpful in determining the best product to meet our needs Installation was punctual and very efficient The crew was very knowledgeable regarding issues with "older homes" and worked hard to meet my requests I continue to recommend the product and service to my friends

Shortly after purchasing our home in VA Beach, we immediately noticed that our HVAC system was not working properly Our house was really cold in the winter and hot in the summer Something had to be done I have dealt with different companies before meeting with Air Specialty One company said they fixed the broken ductwork and the 2nd company said there was nothing wrong After months of living with an astronomically high electric bill, my general contractor referred me to Air Specialty They came out and did a thorough inspection of my crawlspace and attic As I had suspected, our ductwork / return was a disaster We were losing 40% of our air into the crawlspace Now, my house heats and cools down within minutes and I'm looking forward to getting my next electric bill If you work with Air Specialty, you are working with honest people who truly care about your home and comfort and do what they say they're going to do Not only do they do a thorough and quality job, but they offer great customer service!! I have had way too many problems with my three HVAC systems in the few years I've owned my home. It wasn't until I started working with Mr. Andy Sutter at Air Specialty that things improved. I initially worked with a company that made considerable installation errors and then closed their doors. Air Specialty honored promises that the prior company had broken. They have come out at a moment's notice to fix things that have come up and even taken care of the cost of service calls for me. Of the four companies in the area I have worked with, Air Specialty is clearly the most knowledgeable. We are very pleased with our new American Standard heat pump and American Standard air handler installed by Air Specialty Corp. We've had a contract with Air Specialty Corp. for over 16 years and when it was time for a new system we knew to call the professionals at Air Specialty Corp. Our knowledgeable Comfort Advisor, [redacted] conducted an in-depth analysis of our home and not only did he help us choose the perfect heat pump and air handler, but he also re-designed a more efficient ASC "Total Seal" duct system. The technicians were professional and courteous and removed the old system and installed the new system in a timely manner and without a hitch. We've always recommended Air Specialty Corp. to our friends and family and will continue to do so.

I would highly recommend this company!!!! On Monday April 6, 2015 Air Specialty installed a new heat pump in my home. The technician [redacted] was incredibly professional, and informative. Not only did he do a great job with installation, he also did a great job keeping my "clean house" clean. He put down plastic on the stairs, and tarps under the ceiling access to caught any debris. I am very pleased with my experience with Air Specialty and highly recommend them to my family and friends.

We have been with Air Specialty since March of 1985 because their entire team are experts in their field. At no time during the entire 30 years we have been with them have we ever had a bad experience and have enjoyed their willingness to share various options concerning our heating and cooling system.
Their honesty has at all times been a pleasure and noteworthy in that if we asked for a specific service, they are not afraid to say no, you do not need to do that and explain
in detail why.
About mid September of this year our old system was not operating properly and Andy Sutter came to our house to explain exactly what was going on with the current system and why we should consider upgrading to the latest technology and showed us how we could safe on our energy bill by doing so. He explained all the various systems with both the pros and cons of each of them. Andy also made some great suggestions and we finally settled on a system that best suited our needs.
Andy also noticed that we had a few air purifiers around the house and showed us
a piece of equipment that would service all of our rooms at the same time and also help lower our electric bill. He also said that this unit would help my wife with her
allergy problems and wouldn't you know it, we had it installed with the new A/C system and my wife's allergy problem has lessened significantly.
This is the type of treatment we have come to know and appreciate over the
30 years we have been with Air Specialty and it is with our heartfelt thanks not only to Andy, but to the entire Air Specialty team.

ASC installed a heat pump for me. The workmen came on time, understood the work to be done, were non-obtrusive and took great pains to keep my house clean on the indoor work. The finished job which included duct rehab and a heat pump replacement/ installation were done with excellent craftsmanship I all aspects of the job. I was highly pleased. The supervisory personnel called twice each day to affirm that I was pleased with the work and the progress. I thought the agreed upon price to be fair. Overall...excellent company

I needed a second opinion on the condition of my HVAC unit after I experienced some AC issues. ASC treated my problem like it was their problem and fit me into their schedule immediately. Dan completed the inspection and let me know what did or did not need to be replaced in plain English!

I had lots of questions and he took the time to answer all of them thoroughly. Dan made it clear that ASC is in the business of taking care of the customer first and would not be recommending the replacement of any parts that were in working condition regardless of their age. ASC will definitely first on my list to call should I experience any further HVAC issues in the future!
