I have used Air Specialty to service my Va. Beach home's heat pump system for 30 years. Their service has always been professional and honest. Recently I used Air Specialty to replace the crawl space duct work in another Va. Beach home. The project was completed on schedule and they kept me informed of the progress during the work. Their staff is friendly and responsive. I would call on them again in the future.

We recently had Air Specialty install a two head mini split unit into the top level of our house. We had been using window a/c units and baseboard heat. What a difference with our new system! The units are unbelievably quiet, small and unobtrusive and work fantastic!! Andy was excellent to work with- he told us what would work best and he delivered. My existing HVAC company came out to conduct semi-annual checks on my system and created a laundry list that included replacing a coil for $1700 in addition to other repairs. I hired Air Specialty for a second opinion and the technician reviewed each item line by line and showed me where each component was. He was very thorough and straight forward. We determined that two parts should be replaced and came up with a plan to monitor the refrigerant and coil. The other company was apparently trying to create urgency in order to sell me a new system. This saved me $1700 and gave me piece of mind.

We were selling our house and after the home inspection we found that we needed some work done on our HVAC system. I spoke with Andy [redacted] and he was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I was impressed with how quickly he was able to come out and look at the system and give me a quote.
