Charged twice for same drain unglued
Was charged twice for a drain service? $99.99 the first time and the next day the price went to $200.00. Had no choice but to pay because it was the day before Christmas. Paid twice because the technician did not do his job the first time? Had to clean sewage backed up twice?

AC unit service
The outside a/c unit kept occasionally tripping the circuit breaker upon startup. Called for service and the "tech" finally showed up at 9 at night (9 hours late). Barely touched the unit except for checking to see if it had power, he said it was too dark to take it apart to check the compressor or fan. I explained that it was on its own circuit and cooled and ran fine. So we start the unit up and the circuit breaker tripped so he could see the problem. He tried blaming it on the 15 amp breaker, should be 30 amp he says, I said 15 amp is what the specs called for from the manufacturer. The air handler is on its own 15 amp circuit. So is the furnace. So he didn't test the fan or condenser or the capacitors. What he did do is by pass the capacitors, the unit ran anyway. So he pokes at the wiring he disconnected and shorted out the unit, (big flash and sparks), now it wouldn't start at all. Goes back to the truck and gets a new fuse puts the wiring back together as he found it. Then claims as a diagnoses that the unit is old and probably runs hot is the cause of the breaker tripping. I've run the a/c for 13 years and with no problems until now. On the invoice states the condenser was shorted as the work performed. So he's claiming the short he caused as the problem and solution. So if Simon shows up at your door don't let him touch a thing and don't pay him. Very incompetent.
AC unit service

Terrible
Called A.J Perri for no heat, gas furnace quit during worst storm in years. Tech shows up, guesses, and produces price book with hideously inflated prices. After repeated fails, shoveling parts into furnace, I told tech to put it back as it was and leave. I was advised I still had to pay nearly $400 for labor. Two days later I found someone competent and honest and furnace was repaired. One star for answering phone and finding my house.

I made an appointment for the advertised $Drain Cleaning On October A.J.perri tech ' [redacted] *.' came to my home to snake the main sewer line below the basement floorHe quickly called me over to see the screen and explained that the rocks, mud, and insects visible on the monitor was due to a 'collapsed sewer line.' He also told me I needed a new toilet in the bathroom and gave me choices: $911,$& $uninstalledHe saw I was visibly shocked and proceeded to tell me he had already contacted his co-worker who was in charge of scheduling and was on the way to explain to me the sewer replacement process and explain the costs involved and financing options Mere minutes later, a man named 'Al' arrived in a polo shirt, khaki's and a clipboard, while the tech had already quickly cleaned up and headed out Without viewing the monitor, he sat down handed me a 'visa type' credit application and explained the job would be approximately 8,000-16, There was no way of giving an exact estimate until they started jackhammering the tile floor to see the extent of the damageAlso, the job did not include replacing the concrete, or tile, and would be an additional $just to put concrete back over the excavated area I said I had to think about this as it was unexpected, So he offered to discount the price by 5% if I schedualed a date and signed contract now, or for 10% if I signed contract now & scheduled the job immediately for Monday 10-5-( cause they had a cancellation !)
