Poor customer service. Take orders over the phone for products that are "in stock" and not provide order confirmations. I had to call them to find that the product is not available. Then I purchased a whole new unit that shipped missing parts. They told me I can return it but would have to pay the shipping. Shipping cost was around $50, to return a product that was not complete. Simply put, buyer beware.

I bought an AC2000 gate opener back on 1/27/20 which came delivered damaged. They sent a replacement one which the circuit board had missing pieces. We had to piece together a circuit board using pieces from the damaged one and the replacement one. Needless to say gate would not work and we had issues getting the remotes programmed. Contacted company and they had me send pictures, then sent out a replacement circuit board to which that one did not work either, still having same issue programming remotes and wireless keypad. At this point it was going on close to a month with no working gate opener and I asked for my money back which their policy states that if you are dis-satisfied you can get your money back within 30 days. Well company has refused to issue my money back and insisted that I keep sending them pictures and call their tech support to get gate working. I sent more pictures and contacted tech support and they found that replacement circuit board was bad. Sent new circuit board and was finally able to get gate to open and close but we still can not get gate to auto close and sensors to detect obstruction when gate closing still will not work. We have contacted tech support several times along with more pictures of circuit board and no one has gotten back to us. My concern is if a child was to walk thru gate while it is closing and with sensors not working that child could become crushed by gate. We have a partially working gate that the company forced us to piece together after I asked for full refund and to issue me a Return Authorization. They did not even offer us any discount for all the issues we are going thru with this gate.

Happen to found so many bad review for Aleko, and feel sad. As a customer long ago, my feeling on Aleko product is not that bad actually.
We bought ALEKO® AR1350 Sliding Gate Opener + Accessory Kit at 2015/09/10, installed it later by myself. My overall experience is good: product is good, instruction is easy to understand, installation is simple and customer service is good also. 4 years later, gate opener works still pretty good, in the mean time, control board die once (unknown reason), ALEKO sent me one for free, and I bought another one for in case.
The reason giving 4 star is because AR1350 is not available currently, a little bit worry about the day when current one is out of order, but I believe I could find another model which would replace current one after simple modification.
Overall, Aleko is not that bad to me : )

I purchased a gate from Aleko through Home Depot, which fulfilled the order. The order arrived without the appropriate hardware for one of the posts, which was supposed to be included. I was requested to show documentation - photos - of an empty post without hardware before they sent the hardware to Home Depot, not to me directly. Weeks went by. I had to initially send my crew home because of this issue.
When the hardware arrived, we secured it to the post, but it wasn't until then that we noted the post did not have the correct holes drilled! Again, I had to send the crew home after they tried and failed to drill through the steel post with a variety of bits and drills.
When I yet again tried to have Aleko send out the correctly drilled post, they asked for photos, which I sent. But that wasn't good enough. Then they asked for a comparison set of photos between posts. One of the posts is 10 acres away already set in concrete! When I told them this was not possible, they sent an inane request to show the box the posts arrived in now weeks and weeks ago! When I asked what in the world would the box show in connection to their failure to correctly drill the posts to accommodate the gate hardware, there was no response.
Aleko is not standing behind their faulty product - which, in addition oh by the way, several of the metal " *** on the top of the gate were not welded on and have dropped off.
I have also contacted Home Depot, yet again, who should also be handling this issue. This gate wasn't cheap - it was $1200 plus delivery, so I feel totally ripped off.

I ordered and awning from Aleko and though they said it was available yet, I went ahead and purchased it thinking I'd get in line for it to arrive. I received no follow up and when I contacted them I got no response. I waited another week and after still no response requested a refund. I heard nothing from them until I put up a bad review of them. In that email they offered the product(now in stock) or a refund. I asked for the refund and still have not heard a thing back from them. I go on their website and it says my order is "processing" the same thing it has said for months now. I just want my money back $230 and forget them

speak 2 weeks trying to obtain replacement for a product that was over a grand. the product was damaged and collapsed and rust. all of which was falsely advertised on Amazon website. I thought I was buying from an american made company but the product came from China. Per 2 reps they wanted to send me replacement parts but the entire product needed to be replaced as the frame was bent and skewed. I asked to speak to a Supervisor just to get a new product. *** will not get get on the phone. I ask now just for a refund. We have the product but have not means of returning it. There is no company that would ship the product back to them. I asked them to send me a new box and help me get it back to them. All I wanted was some assistance but no higher level rep will not get on the phone with me. I filed an inquiry with Amazon but they are located in the Philippines and are limited to helping me.

Some how I was shipped incorrect gates. I was instructed to ship them back to Aleko ( return # ***) in the original shipping containers. I did as instructed-it cost me $700. Aleko (Tina) says I did not reship in the original containers. The transport shipper suggested I reinforce the flemcy boxes to insure safe return. As suggested, I added a small piece of wood along the sides and banded the boxes to keep them from coming apart during shipment. I am 75 years old and I do not lie. Others ,will testify I used the original boxes and I can prove it. Aleko is trying to charge me a 15% restocking charge. This is totally un justified. Someone please listen to me. Thank you.

I purchased a 12' awning from them 3 weeks ago. Everything was great until I went to attach the fabric part. When we opened it up there were lines of white all over what was supposed to be a beige awning. I can't get them to return my emails and trying to call them is a joke. Don't believe what they say on their website. Their customer service is terrible!

I purchased an electric awning on 6/2/19. Item Motorized Retractable RV Awning 16x 8 feet. When we received the awning it was not electric. I called the company right away and left voice msg. No response. I emailed them a picture. No response. Called then next day no response. Emails have been going back and forth since then. Each time I talk to someone different on the email. They ask for pictures and reason I am emailing them. I send the same pictures and explain the same thing over and over. The poles on the awning are welded upside down so we can't hold the awning up unless we use bungy cords. I was told that was not a problem.
So wrong awning....Poles are unable to be used to hold up a awning..
I don't understand how hard it is to get a refund or at least talk to someone instead of getting the runaround. So we used our camper without a usable awning this year!!!

I purchased a 10x30 gazebo from walmart.com. I contacted the manufacturer Aleko products to get a refund for it because it was defective. Didnt even have it up for 24 hours and it crumbled in the middle. No response from the consumer about my wanting a refund. Would like to have a full refund of my money.

Do not order from this company! I have had the worst customer service experience regarding my Aleko automatic gate opener. The product was ordered in Nov of 2018 so I could take advantage of their holiday sale. The product sat in a box while we waited for a contractor to install it. The product was installed by a licensed electrician in May of 2019. It was broken out of the box. One of the arms was not functioning and the mother board was fried. Aleko required us to take a video of the product not working which we did, with the help of the electrician. Aleko then sent in new parts. After new parts were installed, the other arm stopped working and the key fabs still were unable to be programmed. Aleko would not offer a solution. After many emails back and forth we hired another company to remove their horrible product and install a different brand. Aleko now refuses to refund their product. AGAIN - NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

I have ordered a sunshade awning 16X10 on '01 Aug 2019'. As per the details provided on the their website, it should ship owithin 1-2 business days and the order NEVER showed up. Today 15 Aug 2019, I called up the customer service and asked them about my order that was purchased on '01 Aug 2019' and NOT delivered yet. Also, my credit card is also debited on the same day '01 Aug 2019' and my order number is '5399'

I have neither received the order details via email after the purchase nor received the order as on '15 Aug 2019'. I have called up for the cancellation of the order after waiting for 45 min's with the customer service. The representative was unable to find the order based on my phone number and the email id. However, she got fedup and was unable to find the order and simply hanged up my call. I tried calling the rep 'rickiha' again and she ignore my call as she could see my number. I tried calling her again through a different number and the same rep has picked up the call. I have recorded the call with her permission and she agreed that she has hanged up the call as she was unable to find the order number.

As I felt that something is fishy, I wanted to talk to the manager and there is NO one available except her. It looks like it is a one man show and the customer service is worst. I called the same rep 'rickiha' again to cancel my order and refund the money as the review on google, ebay, amazon from the 'ALEKO' are very bad. I request you to help me with processing of my refund and cancel the business license of 'ALEKO' as they are unfit to operate business without providing any service(s)

I am rejecting this response because:I bought the item through the CANADIAN WEB SITE ".CA" and NOT from the US Web site ".COM".

Hence, I have paid CAD$716.81 while buying the product and I do expect the same amount back on my credit card no matter in what country you are. I do buy the items from Amazon, ebay etc..etc where the seller is in China or India. When I ask for the refund I get the amount that I spend in CAD and no one deducts the back charges as there is NO Wire transfer involved.
As I have received ONLY CAD$683.63 as a refund. Please refund the remaining 'CAD$33.18' at the earliest. As a proof, I've attached my credit card statements for your reference. Also, the screen shot that you have provided is NOT matching with neither my Credit or Debit transactions. If I pay 1$ and if I ask for refund, I do expect the $1 and not $0.75 on my credit card no matter whether the seller is any where around the world.

Once again ,FULL refund was issued.

On 10/17/2018 purchased an electric gate operator from Aleko through Amazon. I had my gate built and installed my operator in April 2019. Operator worked about 20 times and stopped. I contacted customer service. After weeks of troubleshooting and replacing parts the operator still dont work. Initally Aleko said we need to troubleshoot first before considering a refund. I was told it is still under warranty and wont expire as long as I'm dealing with this issue.
They finally told me today they will not refund me my money. Said to contact Amazon. Amazon said Im past the refund window to talk to the manufacturer. All I want is a box and 3 return labels to return their items and be refunded my money. I have spent hours on hold and weeks troubleshooting. I'm done with dealing with them and want my refund so I can get my gate working with another company that will do installs and service calls.

I am rejecting this response because: Yes this went on for more than 30 days, and yes they tried troubleshooting. But when is enough enough? Over 3 months of hours on the phone, usually 30 minutes to an hour on hold, and troubleshooting and replacing circuit boards and a motor. All I wanted was an operator that will work, what I got was months of wasted time and money. So once again, the consumer is getting ripped off by an inferior product that the company will not stand behind and resolve a failed issue by a simple refund. 400.00 dollars is a lot of money for me, not to mention the money I spent for an electrician to wire it the first time. Now Im out all this money and have to start all over again with another company. Thanks for protecting the consumer from this kind of action.

Order was placed on October ,2018 for Aleko AC1400 via Amazon.

Customer was delivered item and had 30 DAYS TO RETURN or 1 year warranty.

Customer reached out long after 30 days to inform that they are having issues with their unit therefore customer was served with troubleshooting and parts replacement.

When placing order ,customer agreed on terms and conditions of the order which means customer had 30 days to receive refund after return. If the return is not done within 30 days , customer qualifies for 1 year warranty which is still active and that includes replacement of parts if needed and troubleshooting.

Unfortunately since the item is out of the 30 days , per our policy as Amazon stated, refund cannot be granted.

Warranty will expire on October 2019

Hello,

30 days is just long enough for the check to clear the bank. However, like everytime you build new construction you order all your materials ahead of time so it's there on the job site ready to install when ready. I am aware of the date I ordered the p.o.s. The issue is that with over three month of troubleshooting and replacing circuit boards and hours of being on hold, the gate operator still wont work and in my opinion is faulty and unreliable equipment and should be refunded. At this point it is only worth going to the landfill with all the other garbage. I will never purchase another item from your company and warn others of your business practice.

I purchased a 13x10 retractable awning from Aleko through their online store on July 4th, 2019. I received it 5 days later and hired a contractor to install it on July 14th. My installer noted that both the front left and front right bars of the awning were bent, thus preventing the awning from opening and closing properly. I called Aleko on Monday, the 15th and followed their instructions for a resolution. I sent pictures of the awning to [email protected]. The next day I received an email from Aleko customer service requesting additional pictures. The additional pictures were emailed on the 16th. I have never heard anything from Aleko after that. I have called at least 10 times and been on hold for up to 30 minutes before being hung up on by Aleko, after speaking to no one. I have sent multiple emails and have heard nothing. It seems as though no one works for Aleko anymore. They seem to have no desire to assist a customer. I'm very frustrated...their customer service is terrible. Not sure where to go from here. I need replacement parts so I can get this project completed. My order number is; ***.

Aleko gate opener AC1400I purchased an Aleko gate opener(model Aleko AC1400) and paid in full. The order number is: ***?

The gate opener has big noise and smoke. I emailed Aleko but never got response. I called Aleko several times and Aleko transferred my phone to someone but no one care of it. Last Tuesday, I was waiting on phone for 40 minutes. I have witnesses.

It looks like that Aleko would like to delay my case after warranty period.

If I could leave a minus, I would! This is, by far, the worst run business I have ever tried to spend money with! Over 2 dozen calls, vm’s, *** messages, etc. I have been on hold, finally got a person and they drop off or hang up. The WORST and they don’t care. Well I do!

I have ordered an awning from Aleko, when I called to cancel the order they told me that although the product was there still, they were sending it anyway. I returned the product and now for weeks I have tried to contact them and they do not answer the phone or my emails. There is a sum of almost $600 that they have not returned to me and I cannot get in touch with them at all. The telephone num bed is 1-888-246-8596 - My order # is ***. I do not know what to do to have them return my money. Thank you so much for anything you can do!!!

After receiving our awning we noticed not only where there scratches and dents but parts were missing. On Monday June 17, 2019 I called aleko to notify them. The Rep. asked me to submit pictures in which I did they were to issue me a refund of $43.50 and ship out missing parts. By June 24, 2019 still no refund to my account. I called Aleko once again...where is my $43.50 refund? The Rep informed me that she saw were I was to receive the refund but for some reason it was not done the prior Monday and that she would make sure it was done....Now its June 29, 2019 still no refund. Regarding order 9812100. I just want them to do what was promised..give me my refund for the dents and scraps on the supposedly new awning I purchased.

1. Gates are advertised as having a galvanized undercoating which nothing we have received is galvanized
2. A receipt was received possibly from *** who collects for Aleko with a personal name, unknown address and the correct dollar amount.
3. A solar panel was received without any back on it making it unusable. A "L" bracket was purchased to connect to the back of the solar panel which is also unusable. Aleko calls the back of the solar panel hardware which they don't supply.
4. A 5/8" nut is missing and a ball bearing is missing.

We have had 6 phone and internet chat contacts with these people and nothing has been resolved. We have asked for the manager with no return call.

I am rejecting this response because:The one part that was missing has been shipped and received. We have contacted their customer service department 7 times and the missing part replacement is all they have accomplished. They can't/won't supply a receipt that connects the items purchased with the payment. They are completely ignoring the lack of galvanizing undercoat missing from the posts and first gate delivered. The second gate is to be delivered today.

The 4 posts are already set in concrete so to galvanize those would have to be done in place and above ground only. The non galvanized gate is a 14' x 6' dual ST. Petersburg.

It is obvious they aren't interested in providing products as advertised and fixing what they have not done properly.
