I stand behind my original statement in regards to my crew interviews and pictures

I am rejecting this response because:You did not "offer" to unload the truck and give us a reimbursementYou knew we had to be out of our house and had only that day to move and threatened to unload the truck as a way for us to pay for a service that was poorYou took advantage of us being in a bindYou did not let my husband know that the truck was too small but regardless, it is your job to then bring a bigger truckThat is in no way, shape, or form the job of the clientProviding a discount for an additional truck is a jokeWe shouldn't have needed an additional truck since you knew how much stuff we hadAlso we moved car loads ourself, all which should have been in the truckIf your company messed up by 1.not packing well to fill the truck and Not getting a big enough truck then it's your problemThere is no way a customer should be paying for your mistakeI'm not going to waste my time arguing with you about your attitudeYou and I both know you were inappropriate but based on your attitude on the phone and your own employees comments about you, that is likely something that won't change

I fully respect respect your comments but I feel compelled to comment. My senior estimator was the gentleman you were dealing with. I make sure my office and outside estimate sales state uniformed in our policies and procedures. You mentioned that we stated that you can put unbreakable items in...

your dressers. It is discussed with explained that all customers not matter if it is one dresser, nite stands, curios, everything must be emptied. The only items that is allowed is clothing. This is also covered a few days before on final confirmation. The reason why is that the furniture can most likely be upright and items can jump out of the draws and possibly cause damage to the draws tracking of fall behind the draws. In regards to the unsupervised loads.. Where this information came from you are incorrect.. I can confidently state this because I myself met the crews at the official weight station and stayed with the units until I was in compliance with the federal regulations and the units were sealed. About the silverware my employees are  not day laborers, they are full time employees and all are state and federally background check and you were told to contact the authorities if you felt any wrong doing, which I would comply with them with any information they required. We are not responsible for boxes that are packed by the owner. hence why we do not know what was put in them nor how they were packed. About the moving insurance, you declined to purchase Moving insurance and signed off that you declined. This would default to the standard .60 cents per pound per item if we were at fault. I am sorry for your feelings on the move but I hope this explains and clarifies.

After careful consideration and review by the Director of Customer Care we have decided to honor our customers request, a settlement agreement for $685.00 is being emailed to the customer today.

I have engaged All My Sons Moving & Storage of CT for my upcoming move. I spoke to Brandon, Michelle and Amanda since last week and I am very impressed with each one of them. Amanda was extremely helpful in explaining the whole moving process and share an estimated moving time and cost. I am confident my move will be stress free and very cost effective with All My Sons.

sending back the agreement, I received your email with the signed agreement on 6/13 and your account was taking care of on the 15th. In regards to the mattress we agreed that you were getting prices near you to get it cleaned, I did say I wanted to get it done before your wife moved down. About the additional insurance there was no additional insurance taking out. You had the standard 60 cent per pound per item. There was no 3rd party policy taking out. I understand the email and bill, and again confirming that I was led to believe that I was going to be charged a much lower amount over the phone. I was low-balled an estimate and taken for a ride. I did not agree with the final bill but your company threatened that you will hold my belongings on the truck and in storage unless I sign the contract and pay what you asked. This is illegal and can be fined up to $10,000 as per the FMCSA. I have done my research and also consulted with a lawyer and plan to take this to civil court as well as file a complaint with the FMCSA if this is not settled at a fair outcome asap. Again, I ask for $250 back to be at a reasonable rate of $600 (even more than what was estimated over the phone).[redacted]

BAIT AND SWITCH - ALL SONS MOVING - I was charged $1117.00 for a move of one room for a distance of less than 4 miles....this was 3 times the estimate and was called stupid by the owner Doug. The customer service was absolutely the worst. The men arrived late, they took forever and used material that I specifically asked not to use. They then charged me more than 3 times what they estimated. THIS IS THE WORST experience I have ever had!

As stated before, after my crew leader called the office, and my office exhausted there means on trying to talk, yes I did explained that I was not meeting your expectations and said I would unload the items back.. this cost and labor was not being charged.. Again yes we both know what transpired on the phone with my office staff and myself. The crew that was present was a veteran crew and sometimes because of items of various sizes they are secured not squarely due to the shape. This does cause "dead cube space"

I used them in November 2013 and they did a great job. I have since referred people to them and I called them again to schedule an upcoming move. I spoke with Michelle on Friday morning. She assured me someone would call me that evening or the next morning. 3 days later still no call so I called them back. I was asking for the same move price that they gave me when they moved me first which being a repeat customer and referring others I thought was reasonable.
When I spoke to the owner Doug he would not honor that rate. He kept talking over me and wouldn't even let me speak. His customer service skills are lacking in which he should leave to his reps. He wouldn't waive a fuel surcharge that they waived previously, 11% is ridiculously high and another way for them to gain income. He said they move 4,000 people and clearly he doesn't care about repeat business or recommendations. For moving that many people and only having a handful of reviews I thought that others should know of my experience. I spent $120 tipping the guys last time and also another $30 buying them breakfast and lunch. When I explained that it would be taking away from their tip he did not care saying that he treats his employees good and didn't recommend tips.
After speaking with him I remember speaking with him during my last move and he was exactly the same. When I agreed to the price he pushed on me he said someone would call 24-48 hours prior to the move and I can make the decision then. When I asked if they would really call me because I was already promised a call he said forget it and didn't want my business.
Go with someone who values their customers, repeat business and most of all the best compliment of referrals.

On any potential claim as I explained I conduct an internal investigation which was explained to you. In conclusion to the interviewing of the crew as I explained the crew leaders brought in your television fully wrapped, we unwrapped it in front of you. At the end of the job before my crew left you...

had my crew move the same tv from the floor to the other side of the room's floor for your reasoning you wanted to utilize the space where we originally placed it (which we did in front of you).  You sent me a picture which I requested disclosed a substantial damage. The customer stated they only noticed it when they turned it on. The picture of the TV was also moved on top of the furniture which my crew did not place it there. In regards to the implication of the child possibly doing it. I just mentioned throughout the move the young boy (3-4 years of age) throughout the move was throwing things at out truck, walk boards and crew. All I said that it might be a possibility. It was a clear decision that the TV was moved not once but twice in front of our customer and the substantial damage was not present. We were not at fault and not liable. Attached is a picture of the damaged TV.

We share a similar story of theft. Simply put, the movers stole silver that was not part of the move. If you use this company, please be sure to keep an eye on their movers and be sure to have several people in the house. A move is stressful and it is easy to be distracted.
They will also promise you that all furniture will be wrapped. Our chairs were not wrapped and they were damaged.

This move was quoted an hourly rate over phone, they were quoted 3 men at $129 per hour, with a two hour minimum and one hour travel time. The customer was not given an entire price to pay, only advised of the hourly rate and that we charge by the hour. We do not want our customer to be unsatisfied...

as we understand miscommunication can occur, please accept our apology and a 10% discount on the cost of the move.
