Business states that consumer received title the day the complaint was filed

First I would like to respond to this complaint by saying the person that bought this car did not know how to drive a stick shift at all that's why our salesman drove the car for him more than likely he overheated the vehicle not knowing how to drive it and blew the head gasketI did speak to the customer regarding the situation he said he had already fixed it and that it wasn't a problem he did not ask for anything from All Star Auto whatsoever to help him in the repair as far as the registration for a there had to be a min DMV this is the first I've heard of this the customer did not call All Star Auto to tell them that they received a [redacted] title instead of their if they would have called us we would have fixed the mwe do not sell chopped cars we do not Chop cars here this is no need of a bit Revdex.com complaint what needed to happen was the customer to call us and inform us that there was a mat DMV and we would have fixed the problem just like we are going to now we did not sell him a faulty car the car we sold him was very nice and once again he did not ask for anything from us as far as repairs please tell the customer to call All Star Auto so we can get the DMV mfixed like I said if we would have known about it at all we would have fixed it already we have not been contacted about this situation

this is a response to a customers complaint regarding a Chrysler town and countrythe first time ALLSTAR AUTO heard anything about any problems with this vehicle was almost months after the salethe customer called and said he was having transmission problemsat that time he said that the vehicle had a oil leak that he fixed a couple days after the saleif the customer would have called and brought the oil leak to my attention when it happed I would have been happy to fix the problem for him being that it was only a couple days after the sale even if the car was sold as isas far as the transmission having problems almost months and thousand miles after the sale we can not be responsible for thatthe transmission was working great when we sold it to him and for two months afterthere is no way for us to know what can happen to a car in the future.the fact of the matter is that every car will break down at some point in its lifethere is no way for anyone to be able to predict the futurethe customer stated in the first line of his complaint that he new the car was sold as isthis is probably why he didn't contact me about the oil leak which like I said we would have fixed anyways being so close to the saleALL STAR AUTO is not responsible for the transmission problems thousand miles later

We bought the vehicle from the auction, and didn't know that it needed repo paperworkWe are having the repo certificate made, and are waiting to receive a call that it is ready, which we will then let the consumer know

Once again I am responding by telling the customer to please call All Star Auto so we can fix your problem I'm not going to continuously battle over the Revdex.com Plain and simple DMV mixed up his title if he wants it fixed he has to call All Star Auto once again I'm not sure why he's refusing to call usWe are trying to help there is absolutely nothing we can do unless the customer calls us he has not once called us to discuss the issue of the title that can easily be fixed from a minor mistake from DMV I'm not going to continuously respond with the same thing over and over if the customer wants it fixed call us so we can fix the problem the end

We bought a vehicle for our daughter here Mark was nice and helpful We live in Nevada, so I went to license it and there was a paper missing I cannot get it registered I have contacted Mark times in the last weeks, with the last calls going to voicemail It was always in the mail Well it is not in the mail! I have contacted an attorney I would not do any business with them again

This customer received there title the day they sent this complaintSome people have no patienceTheres no way I could have made his mail man drop it off any sooner

I am rejecting this response because: First he didn't tell us that the car and title is from Nevada I just found out when I went to DMV to transfer on my name and DMV didn't honor the smog certificate because it was expired and I told DMV about the smog, they said days even a car dealer not a yearWhen I called him he told me that he will call when to bring sometime next week but he didn't call back, I texted him and he didn't answer my text, I had a missed call today 11/20/and on my lunch break I called but my call rejectedThe odometer is broke so its not really 211,miles, DMV almost refuse to register because the odometer is not working, DMV can't read the numbers

first I would like to state that when you buy a $1,car which was the cheapest car on my lot you cannot expect it to be an AMG [redacted] fresh off the lotthe AC did work when I gave him the car he called me and asked me about the AC I told him to reconnect the wires on the blower if it was not blowing properly he did and it fixed the problem a week later he calls me to tell me that the AC is blowing warm air I told him bring the vehicle in and I will check the AC and fix it for him.as far as the title not getting to him for a week I told him I would put the title express mail to his house he told me not to do it and then he would come in and pick it up he did not show up until the next day at 7:at night we close at luckily I was still here helping another customerI never told the customer to go to DMV multiple times I told the customer wait until you have the title in hand until you go to DMV or it will be a waste of your time he chose to go to DMV on his own without the title thinking that he would be able to do the transfer even after I told him he could not until he had title in hand so that has nothing to do with us.at this time I still told him to bring the car in so I can fix his AC he did notthe car ran and drove perfectly fine when I gave him the car I had just smogged it two days before he bought the car.the point of this response is to let people know that when you buy a $1,car the cheapest car on the lot you cannot expect it to be absolutely perfect even then I try to help by offering to fix the AC for himI believe that some people should not be allowed the right to make complaints about businesses some people you can give Them the car for free and two days later they will call you to tell you that they need an oil change

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Upon purchasing this vehicle, Bob stated that he would make necessary repairs to the vehicle This matter was NOT doneThe heat and catalytic converter have still gone without repair His business is in New York which means that the vehicles he sells need to pass an admissions test...this vehicle does not The catalytic converter code will not pass the admissions testThe repairs need to be made as he promised upon me signing papers for purchase I notified him the day after I drove the vehicle off the lot of these needed repairs and he has continually put it off As stated he needs to make repairs to the vehicle that he sold.Regards, [redacted]

In response to this completely bogus complaint I would like to say first that there electric seats were not broken, the plastic piece on the side of the seat was missing one screwI showed the husband and he
said he would put a screw in itif they couldn't do it they should have brought the car here and in probably seconds I would have put the screw in for themnext, I told them that there REGISTRATION would be dollarsthe funny thing about living in California is that we also have sales taxthere total transfer was almost because they paid TAX and REGISTRATIONin California a vehicle only has to be smogged every two yearsa public smog is valid for days, a dealers smog is good for yearIf there car was making a noise they should have brought it here and I would have been happy to look at it for themthey say we are avoiding there calls which is completely not truewe are open Monday thru Friday 11am to pm, and Saturdayfrom 9am to 5pmif anyone calls during business hours we are always happy to help themthey came here and bought the car, if they couldn't get ahold of me why didn't they come hereour door is always open during business hoursI think this complaint is completely bogusI am always here to help people with any situation

in reponse to this complaint id like to start with the true statements that were made and then the statementsfirst id like to say that yes it did take more time than usual to get the customer there registration which rarely happenswe started the application process days after the sale
of the carunfortunately there was a mix up with the title from the place we had purched the carwe had to do a application for a new title which can take up to days the title has been received and since this complaint the new owner has received there new registrationwe did appoligize for the inconvenience but the matter has been taken care ofnow to respond to the statements, first we do not charge an extra for convienence the charge was for her tax and licensingwe charged exactly what dmv charged not a penny morewe didn't even charge her a dollar document processing fee which is normally always charged to the customer, nor did we charge her for her smogsecond, I tell everyone it can take up to weeks for dmv to get there paperwork especially after January 1st where now everyone even undocumented people are allowed to have a drivers license in this statethat is causing dmv to be backed upthird there is no way that our phone number could be disconnectedour phone number is attached to our license and CAN NOT BE DISCONNECTEDwe have never changed our number since we have been in businesswe are on google, yelp, yahoo, ect ect and it is very easy to find our number for anyoneonce again we are very sorry for the delay that happened but the matter has been addressed and fixedthank u

Business states that the title information requested by the consumer has been provided

first I would like to state that when you buy a $1,car which was the cheapest car on my lot you cannot expect it to be an AMG *** fresh off the lotthe AC did work when I gave him the car he called me and asked me about the AC I told him to reconnect the wires on the blower if it was not
blowing properly he did and it fixed the problem a week later he calls me to tell me that the AC is blowing warm air I told him bring the vehicle in and I will check the AC and fix it for him.as far as the title not getting to him for a week I told him I would put the title express mail to his house he told me not to do it and then he would come in and pick it up he did not show up until the next day at 7:at night we close at luckily I was still here helping another customerI never told the customer to go to DMV multiple times I told the customer wait until you have the title in hand until you go to DMV or it will be a waste of your time he chose to go to DMV on his own without the title thinking that he would be able to do the transfer even after I told him he could not until he had title in hand so that has nothing to do with us.at this time I still told him to bring the car in so I can fix his AC he did notthe car ran and drove perfectly fine when I gave him the car I had just smogged it two days before he bought the car.the point of this response is to let people know that when you buy a $1,car the cheapest car on the lot you cannot expect it to be absolutely perfect even then I try to help by offering to fix the AC for himI believe that some people should not be allowed the right to make complaints about businesses some people you can give Them the car for free and two days later they will call you to tell you that they need an oil change

I would like to respond to this complaint by stating the woman that purchased this vehicle from us has tried to scam us since day one First of all a man made this complaint we sold a vehicle to a woman due to confidentiality laws I cannot State her nameOn the day of the sale we decided to
do a one-day sale on the cheapest vehicle we had on the lot we had the cheapest vehicle on the lot for sale for $1, that day we ran a one-day sale for $1,a woman came to the dealership inspected the vehicle thoroughly drove the vehicle and decided tell us that she only had $1,to her name that she was a single mother and she needed a vehicleI decided to help the woman out and gave it to her for $1,mind you at this was the cheapest vehicle on our lot so I now took an additional $off the vehicle because this lady stated that was all she had to her name After being done with the paperwork hands my salesman $bills and ask for changeRight there was a red flag obviously this woman had just lied to meThe paperwork was done I gave it to her for $1,once again this was the cheapest vehicle on my lotThe same day hours later we saw the same car on *** for $2, with her phone number attached to it I screenshot the ad to save it for records she sold the vehicle made a profit and is still trying to scam us for 400-plus dollarsSo in response to this complaint I have to say sometimes people with a good heart and like to help other people get stabbed in the backNow we're getting a bad Revdex.com complaint from someone who has tried to scam us since the day they bought the vehicle is this Fair noWe have sold thousands of cars we only have a few complaints if you do the ratio we have a very good percentage of happy customers the problem is the happy customers go on their way and maybe come back and buy another vehicle from us only the few that had a little issue or try to scam us complainWe try to help everyone with a complaint the best we can some people will buy a $1,car and expect it to be showroom condition I'm sorry but that is not possible we do our best and that is all we can do

I am rejecting this response because: I do not trust All Star AutoFirst of all, in response to the comments made in All Star Auto's response to my complaint; I do know how to drive a manual, but since the business owner was so quick to point the finger back at me, he missed the context of why I mentioned the head gasket issue in the first placeUnlike All Star Auto I do not lieI was telling the true story, which is that I wanted the employee to drive because I did not want to risk damaging the carIt had been awhile since I had driven a manualIt does not surprise me that All Star Auto is so panicky and quick to point out that I OBVIOUSLY can't drive a manual, which just points to their self protecting, non-consumer oriented mindsetI do not, nor did I ever want, any assistance with repairs from All Star AutoI said as much in my complaint when I quoted myself as saying that it was ok, and I just wanted All Star Auto to know about the issueI am sure the people that work at All Star Auto are always out to make a buck, but I wanted to let All Star Auto know that they had sold me a car with a maintenance issueMy motivation for doing so was not to receive a free hand out or to get something free from themI wanted to let All Star Auto know that they had sold me something defective, and was expecting an apologyI would have accepted that, since I fixed the issueInstead I was dismissed and treated dishonorablyAfter the restraint and understanding I showed with the head gasket issue, I would expect at least an ounce of hustle in getting my title and registrationNo, All Star Auto decided to mistake my kindness for weaknessRegardless, this complaint is not about the maintenance issueI mentioned the head gasket issue and the body damage that the employee lied about to point out the fact that All Star Auto was dishonorable with me from square oneThe body damage was not that bad, and was professionally repaired, but the employee lied to me because he thought it would influence me buying the carIt did notI did, however, notice he lied to meI gave him the benefit of the doubt, and assumed he felt pressured to make the sale since his boss was not thereThe body damage did not affect the cars functionI let it slide and chalked it up to circumstance, which I discovered to be a bad move on my partIt turns out this is a company of liarsI am happy with the car itself, but I do not see what I can do with it since I don't have a title or registration.Second of all, the time to settle this like gentlemen has passedI gave All Star Auto a chance to put a gentleman on the phone with me and solve my issue, twice, but instead I spoke with a dishonorable manI also waited almost two months for a supposed "solution" which, in my opinion, is a delaying actionI don't think All Star Auto knows how to get their hands on the title and are buying themselves timeIt is very convenient of All Star Auto to blame this "mix-up" on the DMV, since it is a government organization that people love to criticizeI won't bother to check again, but I think All Star Auto has been in business for about four yearsThe California DMV has been around in some form or another, since the 1920sI understand the DMV can be difficult to deal with at times, but who would possibly believe the word of employees from All Star Auto, that an established government organization like the California DMV really mistook a *** Civic TITLE and REGISTRATION for a *** Civic REGISTRATION? And I really do hope that All Star Auto does not chop cars. I do not know if this whole thing is an issue of incompetence or malicious intent, or bothI refer to the following passage, quoted from All Star Auto's response to my complaint: "I did speak to the customer regarding the situation he said he had already fixed it and that it wasn't a problem he did not ask for anything from All Star Auto whatsoever to help him in the repair as far as the registration for a there had to be a min DMV this is the first I've heard of this the customer did not call All Star Auto to tell them that they received a *** title instead of their if they would have called us we would have fixed the mix-up" Within the breadth of this hard to follow sentence, All Star Auto is either too lazy to write a proper response or is attempting to reword a narrative in one run on sentenceFirst, All Star Auto states the obvious, that I did not ask for repairs, which I have now stated twice as being a fact, which makes it a redundant statementThen, All Star Auto refers to "the registration for a 1990" and then states that I did not call All Star Auto to tell them about a "*** Title" instead of "their 2002"The sentence is then ended by stating that "if they would have called us we would have fixed the mix-up." So, in a single sentence, All Star Auto takes my statement that I received the wrong registration, changes it to say that I received a title, and then states that I should have called them to fix the "mix up." NO, NO, NO, NO. I did not receive a TITLEAlso known as a PINK SLIP A TITLE, which states that I am the OWNER of the CAR, which is a *** Civic by the wayI did not even receive the WRONG TITLEI received the WRONG REGISTRATIONIt is insane that All Star Auto would attempt to lie in the course of a Revdex.com response to make it seem like this is not as big of a deal as it isThis is not a mix upThis is not an accidentThis is either gross incompetence or intentionally shady business practiceI will state this one more time, in case it could not be any more clear. I received a REGISTRATION for a *** CivicNot my vehicleThe registration, whose purpose is to register the vehicle with the California DMVI did not receive any sort of TITLENot even the wrong TITLE. Frankly, I am insulted by the poorly written response to my complaint and the obvious carelessness that went into itAfter such a response, does All Star Auto really believe I would call them and listen to any more of their lies and dismissive tones? I am not even slightly convinced that calling All Star Auto would solve the issues with my titleAfter all, they either lied about my registration being a title, or are so grossly incompetent they cannot figure out which one is which

I recommend this business to everyoneI bought a car from *** and it has been great for me and my familyI searched around for weeks before buying my chevyI got a way better deal here than anywhere I foundSo save yourself the headache of searching and just go the All star

In response to this completely bogus complaint I would like to say first that there electric seats were not broken, the plastic piece on the side of the seat was missing one screwI showed the husband and he said he would put a screw in itif they couldn't do it they should have brought the car

I am rejecting this response because: All Star Auto can't be seriousThe head gasket issue has been discussed ad nauseam, and once again it shows how self protecting All Star Auto is that they would mention this issue againI have already said, in writing, twice, that I do not want anything for the head gasket issueGive it a rest. As far is this supposed "mix-up" is concerned, who is registered with my vehicle now? Wouldn't they have come forward to present a similar issue? Or am I somehow double registered with another owner? Once again it is extremely convenient to blame this issue on the DMVI don't find it to be coincidental that I spoke with All Star Auto over the phone about my title and only a week later received the wrong registrationWhomever I spoke with had told me on the phone that I would receive the title in "a week"I then received the wrong registration almost exactly a week after this conversation. All Star Auto sold three ***s "at week"? I take that to mean they sold three ***s "that" weekWhich week is that? The week I bought the car or the week I spoke on the phone with All Star Auto for the last time? Contrary to All Star Autos response, common sense could have solved this issue from the beginningCommon sense dictates that I was promised a title and registration and should have received it, but I was put off until the last minute and then sent the wrong documentationI still do not believe the amount of time I waited has anything to do with the DMV, nor do I believe the registration I received was the DMV's mistake. All Star Auto, if your hands are tied, it would behoove you to untie them and send me my documentationI have grown impatient with the unprofessional manner this issue has been handledMy ultimatum for this issue is as follows:Send my title and registration in the mail, or I will seek other means to solve this issueYou have my mailing address, you know which car I purchasedI will not speak to anyone from All Star Auto on the phone, because I have already spoken with them on the phone twice to resolve this issue, and all I received for my trouble was disrespect and the wrong documentationAm I supposed to believe a third round of phone communication will solve this issue? I don't think soCommon sense tells me that much. Until such time as I receive my documentation, I do not wish to waste anymore of my time responding to these unprofessional rebuttals from All Star AutoI will be mailed my proper title and registration, and at that time All Star Auto can respond to this rejection, stating that they have sent my documentationIf this does not happen, I will turn this issue into something that is much more than it should have been

this is a response to a customers complaint regarding a 2000 Chrysler town and country. the first time ALLSTAR AUTO  heard anything about any problems with this vehicle was almost 2 months after the sale. the customer called and said he was having transmission problems. at that time he said...

that the vehicle had a oil leak that he fixed a couple days after the sale. if the customer would have called and brought the oil leak to my attention when it happed I would have been happy to fix the problem for him being that it was only a couple days after the sale even if the car was sold as is. as far as the transmission having problems almost 2 months and 2 thousand miles after the sale we can not be responsible for that. the transmission was working great when we sold it to him and for two months after. there is no way for us to know what can happen to a car in the future.the fact of the matter is that every car will break down at some point in its life. there is no way for anyone to be able to predict the future. the customer stated in the first line of his complaint that he new the car was sold as is. this is probably why he didn't contact me about the oil leak which like I said we would have fixed anyways being so close to the sale. ALL STAR AUTO is not responsible for the transmission problems 2 thousand miles later
