Make sure when your agents are trying to leave sneaky messages with nothing but the last 4 digits of the phone number they are smart enough to know that people have caller ID and it was recorded. Of course you want to show phone records that you called out. But only upon a Google search (because the person speaking intentionally did not speak clearly) and discovered company name...agent hung up quickly when they got caught (guess they weren't expecting a call back). Time of call 1:53pm 9/12 so you can verify your agent did not give his name and hung up phone (good 'ol quality assurance recording huh?). Called again, spoke with Paul and confirmed it actually was a legitimate collection call for someone else (who listed me as reference) but clearly they did not have intention of collecting. Only to show a pattern of trying to reach someone unsuccessfully. I still have the recording. Alliance one is known for being one of the most horrific agencies out there since they work with courts. No customer service involved or necessary.

I received a letter from this company demanding payment on a court fine. It is labeled May 2018 for Fife Municipal Court. I was not living in Washington state at this time and did not incur any such fine. I was living in Arizona and can provide proof of this. The acct number I was given is: ***. I tried calling to no avail and left a complaint on their website. I am very distressed by this and do not want this to appear on my credit report. I feel this is a scam.

I attempted to log on to my account on the Allianceone website in order to pay my fine online and it gave me a message that stated my username and/or password was incorrect. I then clicked on the link "forgot my username and/or password" and entered in my information. When I hit the "SUBMIT" button the response said "The password reset request failed - please contact the Alliance One customer support!". I called the Allianceone Customer Support number and the customer service representative was rude and directed me to use the email address that was supposedly listed on the webpage when I got to the "The password reset request failed..."to ask for help, but as I mentioned to him there was NOT an email address listed and then he said he couldn't help me. I then asked to speak to the manager on duty at that point. When the manager came on the phone he also said he couldn't help me log on to the website because he didn't have access to that information. He also said that he had heard the same complaint from other customers and to try to log on at a later time when my next payment was due. I feel that this is a scam and that they do not want me to see my account information. I have paid Allianceone A LOT of money and there should be NO REASON to why I don't have access to my account information! Where is the transparency?!

Received a collections letter in the mail, and there are no such collections on my credit report. This is false and a way to receive money from unsuspecting victims.

Dear Revdex.com Staff Member,

My name is ***. I am writing you concerning a company attempting to collect a debt that was already proven fraudulent and removed from my credit reports twice.

The company in question is AllianceOne located at ***, Trevose, PA ***. The fraudulent debt is for $628.70.

The previous owners of this debt received the necessary police documentation and this fraudulent debt has already been removed from my credit reports twice.

At this point for AllianceOne to once again knowingly resell this fraudulent debt would constitute a crime.

I *** and I’m writing this complaint of due to lack of communication of alliance one . I received a letter from my payroll job regarding alliance one station that their going to garnish my checks without calling me or sending me a full letter stating that their taking me to court which they already did and I had no clue about. I called my job about the garnishment information and they told me that I would have to call the alliance one my payroll job told me that they received it couple weeks ago and my payroll didn’t mention any of this to me until today I called alliance one today to see if I can do the payment plan because I can’t afford 25% of what their going to garnish alliance one is taking I got upset because I have a lot of personal issues at home I have children’ to take care of and I will loose my home. The lady at alliance one claimed she sent me
Letters but I never received any letter from alliance one for the two years they claimed the lady was not helpful and rude to me . I feel the lack of communication from
Them is very unprofessional and I have no help to fight it

See attachment.

This company keeps harassing me at my work (***, multiple locations in NH), which does not allow for personal calls. I could actually lose my job with any continued calls. They actually call another location and get transferred to my location in Manchester, NH. They've harassed me on two occasions, once on Friday 6/22 (12:30 pm), and the other time was today at about 5:15pm. From my own research, I found they are a debt collector, and I understand they're attempting to collect a debt that I owe (***), but the kicker is that they're not even authorized to collect (at least from my knowledge). I have a letter from *** that clearly states which company has taken over my account (***, so I don't even understand the need to harass me. At the end of the day, this is a debt I owe and intend to work on repaying, but not at the expense of my job and my personal information over recorded business lines. Please advise.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am having an issue getting tolls incurred to be billed to the correct automobile owner and recently Alliance One sent me a collection notice for services I did not utilize. This is 100% my fault, but upon learning of the issue, I immediately contacted *** (who forwarded this to collections) and was told they could not help me. This occurred in late October and by early November I made attempts to resolve this and filed a credit card dispute since I did not incur the charges/tolls. I made a mistake in using my *** for tolls on the NYS roads. I input my *** rental car into my account for my transponder and forgot to remove it immediately upon the returning my car. Within one week of returning the car, I noticed additional charges and contacted the port authority to have them bill *** since they are the owner of the automobile. I spoke with 2 individuals in early November to resolve this and both were not helpful and maybe it is the simplicity of the issue in that I don't own the automobile so I was hoping it could be resolved easily. My account is currently revoked and after repeated attempts with ***, this has not been helpful in any manner. This has gone on for so many months but in the first letter (5/14/18), then indicated that the transaction was recorded by my *** tag, but that is not correct, since it was the license plate since I did remove the tag and still have it. Ironically, I received a 2nd letter dated 5/22/18 indicating I was responsible for the plate, which changed to make this matter difficult for me as a consumer.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:

I should not have to take anymore of my time to settle an issue between 2 agencies that can not communicate. It seems to me they communicate very well when it comes to trying to extort me out of thousands of dollars. I believe *** should be the one to check their records and confirm my status. I don’t work for alliance one or *** why do I have to do the legwork for 2 companies who are extorting me? I now have filed a claim with FTC.

Regards

AllianceOne claims I have been put into collections by one of thier customers, and received authorization to withdraw all funds from my bank account.

My concern is that they received authorization to do this dispite the fact that they have made no attempts to contact me. The rep I spoke to disclosed on a recorded line that they made no attempt at all to contact me via email, physical mail, phone, or otherwise to collect the debt. They confirmed they had a proper working number to reach me five months before the withdraw from my account and still made no attempt to contact me.

I appreciate the opportunity to respond on behalf of AllianceOne Receivables Management, Inc. *** states in his complaint that he is concerned that we were able to garnish funds from him without first attempting to contact him regarding the owed balances.

*** has three accounts that have been placed in our office for collections; Account #*** was placed in our office for collections on September 5, 2013 by *** Superior Court with a balance of $546.00. Account #*** was placed in our office for collections on July 29, 2014 by *** County Superior Court with a balance of $595.00. Validation of debt is attached for all of ***'s matters. Both *** Superior Court and *** County Superior Court require that unpaid accounts be referred to the *** (***), in ***'s case, this is who completed the garnishment against him.

I am rejecting this response because: Thank you for the response. I have called in and addressed that this seems to be an issue of identity fraud. The letters provided are from 2013 and 2014 and we're mailed to an address in Texas. I have never resided in Texas, nor have I ever claimed to. I have never registered for anything in the state of Texas, and am unaware of how this mistake could be made. I am in the process of filing an identity theft claim with the courts. The representative I spoke with previous to this report stated that there has been no attempt to contact me since November of 2017 when I volunteered to provide my contact information. I also called in last week to request an update on when funds may be withdrawn from my account without my knowledge and the representative said there was no information in the system matching my social security number. I found this highly odd and most likely inaccurate so I will be calling again this week to follow up. I am actively communicating to work through this issue, and would appreciate accurate responses. Regards

This company was chosen by the *** Toll Authority for me to make payments. They didn't transfer my payments when I made them and are saying I didn't make the payments. I provided proof in the form of bank statements and receipts.

This company recently garnished my son's bank account for $7.56 on 3/29/18. When I called on the account and gave them my name regarding the garnishment they said the garnishment had nothing to do with me or my son. I received in the mail from my bank in a post dated envelope a garnishment writ from AllianceOne Receivables, with no date and I never received a copy or any type of notification of a Writ of Garnishment. I have not been served anything. On top of that I had just paid them $808.11 on 2/23/18. At no time during the phone calls I made to them days prior did they notify me of collection action filed with any courts. Nor did they try to set up a payment plan!

I am writing in response to the concerns expressed to your office by *** on April 26, 2018. I appreciate the opportunity to respond on behalf of AllianceOne Receivables Management, Inc. ("AllianceOne.")

It appears that numerous accounts - which together include three separate variations of ***'s name: ((1) ***, (2) ***, and (3) ***) - have been referred to AllianceOne for collection. With respect to the specific allegations of ***'s complaint:

1. *** is correct that she paid $808.11 to AllianceOne (the payment was actually received on February 22, 2018), after AllianceOne had agreed to waive all interest on, and to accept the $808.11 payment as full settlement of, three *** Municipal Court infraction judgments arising out of infractions no. ***, no. ***, and no. *** (listed together as AllianceOne account no. ***, under the name *** E); and,

2. the only remaining unpaid obligation which AllianceOne is still attempting to collect from *** is a judgment, arising out of criminal citation no. ***, which *** Municipal Court entered against *** (listed as AllianceOne account no. ***, under the name ***). *** made a $300.00 payment on this account on June 16, 2017. After discussing this matter with ***, AllianceOne set up a payment plan in order to allow *** to satisfy this judgment. Unfortunately, *** defaulted on the payment plan. Thereafter, AllianceOne commenced a garnishment proceeding on the unpaid judgment, naming *** as the garnishee, and provided to the garnishee ***'s federal tax identification number and date of birth, for the purpose of accurate identification. The garnishee's answer to the writ of garnishment stated that the garnishee withheld no funds under Alliance One's writ. Enclosed is a spreadsheet showing the amounts which AllianceOne is still attempting to collect on this account. I am aware of no information which would support ***'s allegation that AllianceOne "went about the Writ of Garnishment improperly"; and,

3. AllianceOne is unable to respond, at this time, to ***'s demand for a refund of $7.56, because *** has provided insufficient information regarding the alleged garnishment of her son's bank account. Additional information, such as an Alliance One account number, or a copy of a letter from AllianceOne to her son, or her son's full name, or date of birth or social security number, or other relevant identifying informat order to facilitate AllianceOne's search for the correct records. Nevertheless, AllianceOne has discovered no evidence that AllianceOne ever collected the amount of $7.56 on any of the obligations referred under ***'s different names to AllianceOne for collection,

Attached please find relevant documentation. Please feel free to call me if you should have any questions.

TO ALLIANCE ONE: CEASE AND DESIST LETTER - WITH DISPUTE OVER DEBT (Demand for Validation) AND REFUSAL TO PAY. COMPLAINT against *** (FL) and ALLIANCE ONE, RECEIVABLES MANAGEMENT, INC. I have been a long-term *** customer for many years, and I thoroughly regret the unprofessionalism and ignorant mannerism demonstrated by several *** representatives, that I have had the unfortunate experience of corresponding with. As a person who pays every bill in entirety and in due timing, I was infuriated to find a bogus, and likely fraudulent, notice from an illegitimate "collection agency" known as AllianceOne, Receivables Management Inc. This notice claimed that I owe a debt in the amount of thirty-three dollars for an unpaid toll. I corresponded with both *** representatives and also those employed at AllianceOne in an attempt to explain how this could not be possible, and to provide them the evidence contradicting their invalid accusation that I owe them any debt of any amount. I was not provided any verification to demonstrate the validity of their claim, (because it is evidenced to be null and entirely invalid). Due to a likely error occurrence, in the performance of their (***) processing system, (which my account has always been up to date and current), a notice was sent to AllianceOne "Collection Agency" demanding I pay a debt allegedly (and unevidenced) belonging to me. I immediately sent AllianceOne a formal written legal Letter of Demand to discontinue all communication in both written and verbal form, with myself, and any third party regarding this matter; and advised them that in any event whatsoever, any adverse information be placed against my credit report, appropriate legal action will be pursued and taken into effect immediately under the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). I expect this matter to be resolved immediately. And meanwhile, I deem it appropriate that others gain an awareness of the scam I encountered. And as a result of this unwarranted and unjustifiable harassment from AllianceOne and ***, my next letter will be delivered to the ATTORNEY GENERAL to formally report these unethical and most likely fraudulent actions, as it will not be tolerated.

April 9, 2018Dear *** or ***,

I am writing in response to the concerns expressed to your office by *** on March 6, 2018. I appreciate the opportunity to respond on behalf of AllianceOne Receivables Management, Inc.

*** states in his complaint that he would like to obtain validation of debt as he believes that this was previously paid for. *** also requests that we cease and desist from contacting him regarding this matter.

The Florida Department of Transportation referred account #*** to AllianceOne for collections on February 18, 2018 with a balance of $33.00 for a Toll-By-Plate violation. When *** called in on March 6, 2018 we explained to her that we would mark the account to reflect the dispute and that the dispute process would be expedited if she could provide proof that this toll had already been paid but she refused. Once we were notified that Mr. and *** were disputing the account we requested validation of debt from our client.

The account was closed out of our office and returned to The Florida Department of Transportation on March 7, 2018. I am from San Diego
The amount of $ 222.00 was taken from my state taxes by Alliance One without telling the reason, they just took the money, no bill or anything, will be sending complains to FBI so they can stop this scam.

Was sent to collections for outstanding ticket. The State Franchise Tax Board issued 2 seperate wage garnishments which were completed and I have proof of. Called Alliance one to ask when my hold at the DMV would be released they said I still owe a balance of $86.18. Called the State they said I completed the collection and to call Alliance back to get the hold released. With no such luck they said I still owed $86.18 which I offered to pay and they won't take the payment. I literally have no were else to go.

AllianceOne Receivables Management Response • Feb 20, 2018

February 16, 2018Dear ***,

I am writing in response to the concerns expressed to your office by *** on February 9, 2018. I appreciate the opportunity to respond on behalf of AllianceOne Receivables Management, Inc.

*** states in her complaint that the California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) garnished her wages but because the funds had not yet been released to AllianceOne, she was unable to have the hold on her driver’s license released.

San Diego Superior Court referred account #*** to AllianceOne for collections on May 24, 2016 with a balance of $1,055.00.

Our client requires that unpaid accounts be referred to the FTB. When the FTB secures funds, AllianceOne has to wait the funds to be released to AllianceOne before the balance can accurately reflect what is owed. When *** called in on February 6, 2018, the funds had not yet been released to AllianceOne so we could not notify the Court that the balance was resolved. The funds were released to AllianceOne by the FTB on February 8, 2018 and the client was then notified that the balance was resolved.

AllianceOne does not have any contact with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) directly, this is completed directly by the Court. *** should contact San Diego Superior Court directly to have the hold on her driver’s license released.

We strive to provide a positive customer experience while resolving account issues and we thank you for bringing ***’ issues to our attention. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. I can be contacted at .

This company called me, saying that I have an unpaid traffic ticket at Whatcom County WA.
I paid with my credit card right away. They promised to inform the county that the issue is settled.
? few weeks later I was stopped at Canadian border. I was told that I'm driving with the suspended driving privileges in WA, because of the unpaid traffic fine and was given a court date.
It's interesting that the cops were by no means surprised when I told them that the fine in question was actually paid some time ago through the Alliance One. They double checked their system, and the payment was not showing thereM Apparently, the situation is very familiar to them. They told me to get a payment confirmation from Alliance One and bring it to Court to have my case dismissed
And that's where I needed to contact Alliance One again Not when they wanted money from me, (they were very nice and helpful that time), but when I needed there assistance in resolving a mistake made somewhere on their side.
The lady I talked to, named Trudy M, quickly checked payment information, confirmed that the payment went through as it was supposed to< and suggested that they can mail me a receipt. It will come in 7 to 10 business days. But my court date is before that. I explained it and politely asked her asked he if she can scan and email it to me before mailing the paper copy. The answer was flat and authoritative "NO"
I asked why? What is the problem?
-Because it's the way things are!
-And why are they this way?
-I'm not going to change my answer and you are not going to get the result you want!
And so on for another few minutes...
In course of this conversation her tone gradually changed from cold businesslike, to commanding to outright rude. She was either having a bad day and not having time to be reasonable and cooperative, or just enjoying the experience, I don't know... And I happened to be on the receiving and of it and now have to to go to Court (on my Birthday, no less) and explain all this stupid situation to the judge, probably have it moved to another day and most probably have to pay another few hundred dollars to have this dismissed, as is the practice of many courts in cash-stripped municipalities...
All through no fault of mine, other then exceeding a posted speed limit on a freeway at night by "Less than 10 mph" (as in police ticket).
Left a message for Trudy's supervisor Rebecca. Still waiting for a return call...
Guess a rating I will give to this "business"

Allianceone has been contacting me by phone and mail day and night and harassing me. I have told them to stop but they continue to harass me by phone as late as 10pm and as early as 7am. I know they are violating the law and want them to stop. I have been told that if I do not pay them they will come to my residence and collect my belongings. Also they claim they will cancel my driver's license and ruin my credit. They are using illegal collection methods and they should be fined. Cease and desist.
