I am rejecting this response because:
We have the pictures and videos to show that this job was not finished properly, Simple things like if we want to use bath tub the drain will not closethe walls on the shower are not mounted correctly to the tub leaving gaps that water can seep behind into the wallsThis is a job that he says is supposedly ready to paintWe have letters from other contractors that say this job was not done rightThe tub and walls have to be taken out and re installedThe painters will not take the job because of the poor workmanship The job speaks for itselfWe are more than willing to have anybody come here and look at the jobWe purchased all the parts for the job spending more than $1,so he could do the jobWhen we had a leak under the sink we thought Frank would come over but instead he sent over one of his employees Dave, that even he agreed that the job was not don rightOn 03/21/we thought Frank come over to see us, but he said he was stuck in traffic and needed to see his son we agreed to have him come over the next day, he said he would definitely leave work early to come see usI also left work early the that dayhe never called us or or texted or showed up.The next day he sent us a text saying I'll be at your house between 5:and 6:I could not leave work early again another day in a row, The money was put into dispute because of thisWe are willing to pay but not until the job is finishedThe next thing we know he is trying to get an arrest warrant for usHe is the one trying to steal our money for a job that was not done properly and then never showing his face for the poor work he didAgain we know hours have been worked and will pay those but we would also like to get our money worth as his web site says " we guarantee your complete satisfaction", that we are far from satisfied!!! We are not criminals or thieves!

This customer chose to cancel a contract due to the fact that two of three doors that wee ordered were incorrectMy employees picked up these doors from *** *** per my instructionsConsequently *** *** gave them the wrong door finish on both doorsThese doors were in the customers garage
for over a weekNot until after the doors were fully installed the customer stated they were incorrectI told them I would refund the moneyWe issued a refund for themHere is the situation as we speak, the doors are in their house, so we issued a refund of the total paid (50% of all doors) one of which cannot be returned due to the fact is is a special order doorThat door is correct and is exactly what they orderedSo they are now awaiting a refund of %of all three doors, less the full cost of the special order door which they can have " it's their door" and less $labor for preparation on both openings due to the fact that all of the hardest and in detail work was done and if another contractor installs new doors they have that much less work to doAndwhentbose doors are available for me to return they will get that money back so here is the breakdown bathroom wasn't complete due to canceled contract, they owe $that is a wash $oweddoors : $1800, $, $total $4,amount of refund : cost of special order door (non refundable) - $cost of two doors installed -$cost if labor $each opening (3) -$1,000.00
total - $3,therefore refund due -$and when I get the doors back to return they will get an additional $and the door they paid for (front door) they chose to cancel this contrCt after staying to me to " take my time" do it rightThere is no issues with the quality of work and thus no reason to cancel this contractWe would have installed what ever doors he wanted *** *** made an error which we would have correctedThis is not a reason to cancel mid contract as far as the *** ***, I paid for the removal of the bag and have a receipt that says so

I (frank a[redacted]) of Altieri Construction did in fact issue a contract to complete a bathroom renovation for [redacted] of [redacted]. I visited her home to give her an estimate. Upon submission of my estimate she had responded and asked that I do the work at her home. I...

explained to her that we would have to meet again, sign a co tract and I would have to obtain a deposit from her prior to starting her job. She complied and scheduled a date for us to meet which was August 7 Friday. I arrived and we went over details. At that point I asked her to sign the contract, which she did and to give me a deposit for $2,200.00. After signing and writing a check, she asked when I would start, and how long it woukd take. I to,d [redacted] I would tentatively start on Friday August 14 however it would be possible that we may not start until !monday the 17th. She said it was not a problem. I texted [redacted] the day prior or Thursday the 13th to tell her that if we do not make it on the 14th we would be there Monday morning the 17th. Her text reply was " ok, no problem" I have all of the text messages saved. We showed up on Monday and gutted her bathroom and u covered a few issues with her plumbing. I did tell her I had to leave to get materials which I in fact did. IWe do not work by the hour nor do I insinuate the we do so. We returned the following day with the materials at which point we installed a new fan/vent combo with new duct work venting outside which she did not have in her existing bathroom. We sheetrocked the entire bathroom, and installed wonderboard in the shower. My lead mechanic told [redacted] that we would not be back the next day because of the high humidity and being that there was taping done that day we were giving it a full day to dry. He stated we would be back Thursday. [redacted] texted me on Wednesday and asked if I should have her pickup the toilet and sink. We were hired to do that and so I was not quite sure why she would ask me about this which she clearly knew we were doing. In any event , one of my mechanics was en route to her home Thursday morning when she called and left a "threatening " message on my voice mail. This was [redacted] first call other than a text. I was on the other line. I immediateY returned her phone call at which time she began to yell and shout at me and began to threaten me. At this time I called my mechanic and told him to turn around. I told her  she said she wanted to cancel the contract. I to,d her I would refund her a pro rated portion of money to her, we calculated that refund and she will receive a check for $139.00. There is in fact debris in her driveway, we were going to fill up a bull bag upon finishing to have picked up however when she called and threatened and cancelled the job she did indicate she did not want us back. Thus the debris in her driveway. We contract jobs only with people who trust us and do not threaten us. We provided a service to which we were contracted for, the job was moving forward and would have been wrapped up this Thursday in its entirety. Every phone call was returned that [redacted] placed a nd left a message for. My office staff does not answer to her , they merely relay information to customers or take messages. I will not tolerate any hostile language or acts upon my office personnel at any time. I have a signed contract along with all confirming texts as to when or when we would not be there. I am more than willing to share any and all information with you including written statements from all of my employees.

We both signed a contract. I fug and poured the footings as instructed and per the local building guidelines. This is s fact. Building inspector passed the footing inspection . Mr [redacted] was the one that told me the inspector passed the footings and told me I was all set to pour the footings. We pored the footing. Mr [redacted] was supposed to cut back the du rock under wall for us. He dragged his feet causing us to cut it. Nothing was damaged. The sawzall made a slight impression on the beam. He is overreacting and just looking for issues here. There is something wrong with him. I personally spoke to the town building inspectors to which the stated they passed the footings which of course is matter of public record because they were in fact hug correctly and the right drpth. We placed a large canvass over the deck to Peter it. There were about 10 boards with concrete on them. They will not be used again due to the fact that his deck is now 36" shorter. Again making issues out of nothing. I am happy to follow this frivolous vlaim up in court. I have the inspection reports along with photos and every text message he sent me. Nothing at his home has been damaged we took every precaution and cleaned every day after work. It is a construction site . This is what construction sites look like. Not to mention I had to call the [redacted] police to file a report because mr [redacted] threatened me twice via text message. The officer agreed and had to warn him. He subsequently called me in a hastily manner making demands we do not deal with threats or persons who purport to make threats

Frank and his crew were hired by us this past summer to upgrade our deck of 600 square feet. We had a complete wood deck and railings that were in serious need of help. Frank provided us with real and cost effective solutions to our issue while preserving a great portion of the deck that was in good shape. We spoke with 3 contractors. Frank provided us with the best and most complete and comprehensive plan to address our situation. Let me say that the work performed was impeccable. All of the workers on this project were all great guys. We chose to resurface our deck with [redacted] decking and swap out all railings with [redacted] railings. Frank constructed 2 new sets of stairs that are now up to code and are now safe. . Overall we are totally satisfied with the job and work performed. I would highly recommend this contractor with out hesitation. My job was always kept near and clean and the work was done in a timely manner. A great company to work with.

The job was cancelled by Mr [redacted]. I did give Mr [redacted] a check (pro rated) for work that was not completed. He asked for an additional $1,500.00. Now he is sling for an additional $2,500.00. There is no mention of poor quality of work. I told Mr [redacted] we would send him the $1,500.00....

There is no need for me to speak with him. He can send me a notarized letter of cancellation stating he did receive $2,000.00 and that by accepting an additional $1,500.00 the matter would be final and closed. Once I receive the written confirmation, we will send him the balance of $1,500.00. I will await the cancellation letter stating such.

This claim has only one truth to it. The job needs 3 pieces of cove molding installed above the cabinets. The trim in question is trim that the customer was to purchase and supply due to the fact that he was purchasing all the cabinets and accessories. I had to go to order it on my own however when...

it arrived, it was the wrong color. I told the customer this and he said no problem. The kitchen is 99,9% complete. There are a few minor touch ups to be completed as well. This goes along with every Job. As far as us not showing up.... This is completely false! We could not make it last week and he was notified via telephone due to circumstances beyond my control.this was the only missed appointment. Also everytime he contacted us all his e mails and calls were always returned. As far as his card being charged for work or done.... An outright lie. He has a balance owed for the trim work. The touch ups do not fall under work not done as they are touch ups. We have gone above and beyond for this customer adding several extra items to his job time and time again. His job looks fantastic as I am proud enough to sponsor it in our kitchen marketing materials and have had many compliments. We will provide this customer with his balance owed him and any other amount to cover the touch ups...this is just one email that is representative of his approval and appreciation of our work and the job:Frank: Just wanted to let you know that the place is really coming together and looking great with granite countertops and painting. The painting crewdid a nice job and really cleaned up when they left. I hope to see you on Monday or at least talk about details. -[redacted]

We offered to come to his house to look at his issues. Mr [redacted] however committed a criminal act by stealing all of my money. Not only am I out of money for my time and the workers salaries I have paid but I have purchased many materials in which I have used on his project. Mr [redacted] is a thief and a liar... Nothing more than a common criminal and a thug. He thinks nothing of ruining anyone's lives .. He thinks of himself only. His complaint is riddled with lies, half truths, and innuendos. We are working with the [redacted] Police in seeking an arrest warrant for both him and his wife. This job is ready for paint and is fully operable. He is doing nothing more than operating as athug andtrying to get services for free. I will not stand for these acts and a non truthful representation of my company. As stated we offered to return and explain to him what was done etc. we can not nor will we do business or interact with thieves and thugs who steal from us. In addition he claims to not have signed a contract... Conveniently he now has a memory lapse and forgets he used the "E" sign option in which our company uses on a mandatory basis. We continue to serve our customer base and will do so. Our work is impeccable this is why we carry such a heavy work load and our customers enjoy our work and services

I will not pay $1,200.00!as I originally told mr [redacted] that I would do whatever he wanted to do but it would cost him additional money. There is nothing wrong with what we did. Everything was done to code and was approved by and passed by the [redacted] building department. As stated previously, mr [redacted] has already slandered me on the [redacted] website, threatened me twice as I had to call [redacted] police, they have the complaint on file. I am confident that any jusge will see through this eronious money seeking complaint and dismiss it immediately

Many half truths and lies.. I was told that they had no issue with the quality of work as 3 of my employees stood by and heard the same thing. Half truth about the [redacted]. I paid for removal not the homeowner. The reason we have contracts is to honor them. They decided to cancel with out warning or without doing so in writing as the contract states. At this point I am more than confident that a judge will see through all the nonsense and rule in our favor. I stand by my original statement.

I am rejecting this response because:We have never signed any contract with Altieri Construction in person or "e" singed. He has two different contracts for the same amount $2,500.00 that I supposedly signed but on different dates one for March 24th, and the second for February 18th, so he is contradicting himself on that. Also we never got a so called certificate of completion That he sent to consumer protection! That he says we relieved on March 8th.And you can clearly see that its in his hand writing! The last day when he came to fix the problem we were having with the hot water coming out of the tub faucet first. When he told my wife to go check out the water while he went to put his tools away when she came back down to talk to him he had left without saying anything to her. Again we are not denying to pay for his"job", but now we have to pay  another contractor to  come and fix his "job"! He has also said that we were threatening to do damage to his company and yet he is the one trying to get arrest warrants for us from the city of [redacted] and [redacted]!
Sincerely,[redacted]
