I generally dont write reviews of companys I purchase things from but I had such a positive experience with am auto parts I thought I had to do this. I bought some headlight assemblies for my moms cars to replace her old ones and the ones I bought from this company were VERY inexpensive, fit perfectly, shipped quickly (for Free!). I was so impressed with this that I bought headlight assemblies for my jeep cherokee and has the exact same experience. This is a great company and they have earned my business for any auto parts I am ever going to need in the future.

Avoid, Took 3 days for them to process order and ship so don't expect them to ship same day and get your part in 3-5days more like 7-10days. Now, after waiting the extra time, it's the wrong part. They have no phone number listed and email turn around time is longer than 24hrs. They want me to pay for return shipping after sending me the wrong part. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I ordered a wheel hub and assembly from AM Autoparts, and did so because the price was lowest, (at the time), and offered free shipping. A couple days later, I noticed that I had been charged for the part ordered. I had not received correspondence from the vendor as usually do from most vendors. I noticed that a credit had been applied the next day, and still no correspondence from the vendor. I am quite anxious to complete this repair, so, I inquire of AM Autoparts as to the status of my order, to which they replied that I had cancelled the order via a gmail address I had never seen before. According to google, the gmail address doesn't exist. I replied to AM Autoparts describing this, to which they responded with, "sorry for our error, you may re-order at your leisure." A week after my original order, I look up the part needed, to see that it is no longer the lowest, having nearly doubled in price.

Wrong part displayed on website. Customer being required to pay return shipping in order to receive full refund. I unwittingly ordered the incorrect part as it was the part that was displayed in the site's search results for "catalytic converter- direct fit" for my specific vehicle (http://www.am-autoparts.com/2002/Honda/Civic/direct-fit-catalytic-converter/AM-... No where on the part's specific page (the previous link) or in the search results (http://www.am-autoparts.com/2002/Honda/Civic/direct-fit-catalytic-converter.htm... did it mention that this product excludes the EX edition of the 2002 Honda Civic. Thereafter, when I took the part and my vehicle to the mechanic, I found out that it is not actually the correct catalytic converter for my vehicle. After multiple contact points with the service reps listed below, I am left with the option of paying for the return shipping of the part in order to receive a refund with a waived restocking fee. My complaint lies in the payment of the return shipping. As a customer who was misled into purchasing the wrong "catalytic converter- direct fit" for my car despite the website giving no indication that it was indeed the wrong "catalytic converter-direct fit" for my vehicle, the return shipping should be provided by the seller. Obviously, had I any indication that the part was incorrect, I would not have ordered it in the first place. We are happy to assist you. Our records show that throughout the correspondence with you, we did ask a number of times whether your vehicle was equipped with California emissions. You answered that you did not know, is this correct? The item you purchased, as noted in our listing will only fit vehicles with California emissions. Please note that vehicles with California emissions are not only sold in California, but all over the country and the state that the vehicle was purchased in does not determine whether your vehicle is equipped with California emissions. As this item does not fit your vehicle, it does appear that your vehicle is NOT equipped with California emissions. This requirement is noted in our listing. We have previously provided return instructions to you for the exhaust manifold with catalytic converter that you purchased. Typically if a part is ordered incorrectly, we ask that the customer pay the return shipping fees, however in the interest of providing excellent customer service, we will soon be issuing a prepaid return label so that you can send this incorrectly ordered item back to us at no additional charge to you. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Now I'm left in the awkward position of accepting the actions of the vendor (I was supplied 2 UPS return shipping labels for the product), but the explanation supplied in this response is inaccurate. To clarify, California emissions were asked about once in my "correspondences" with this company (Luci asked about "Califnroia sic Emissions" on 2/25/15). So to say that they asked "a number of times" is, in fact, inaccurate. This being beside the point, the location of the catalytic converter in an EX version of the vehicle does not differ from California Emissions qualified EX vehicles to the rest of the EX family. Quite simply, there are two exhaust layouts for the 2002 Civic (CA Emissions noneffective). One of the layout is the catalytic converter located within the exhaust manifold, which applies to some models of the 2002 Civic. Then, there is the second layout in which the catalytic converter is located downstream of the exhaust manifold below the engine, which applied to the EX model of the 2002 Civic as well as a couple others. So, in other really basic words, regardless of California Emissions standards, the catalytic converter for a 2002 Honda Civic EX is not the part they sold to me. This is really a concern from a future business perspective. I've now lost all of my trust in this company concerning professionalism. I'll assume that no one in the customer service department is actually certified to fix, much less virtually sell the correct parts for, a vehicle. Had they been, this would have been an obvious mistake which they would have hopefully taken the time to correct instead of trying to find blame on the customer's part. Alas, I have now had to shed light on the actual construct of the 2002 Civic in order to defend the fact that false blame was placed on me for a part that was inaccurately displayed on their site. Thankfully, their "excellent customer service" rectified the shipping situation twice, because they're so well organized (I used the first label). I will accept the business response after the refund for the part is issued and when the company bothers to research and realize that "California Emissions" has NOTHING to do with this situation. They supplied the return shipping (and hopefully the refund), but they created a new issue by using a falsified and slanderous defense. Final Business Response Thank you for your response. I ordered a set of tow mirrors for my truck. The mirrors were shipped free and quickly. Unfortunately when I received the mirrors they shook badly. I contacted am-autoparts and requested a refund. Not only did they refund my money immediately, but told me to go ahead and keep the mirrors so I didn't have to pay to ship them back.

First time using AM Autoparts, I am very satisfied with my order it arrived in two days as promised. Part was brand new and fit perfect on my Mercedes CLK430. I highly recommend their services and will use them again.

In June 2013, I ordered a new windshield wiper arm for my Dodge Grand Caravan. When I realized that my problem was not with my existing part, but with how it needed to be installed, I returned the new wiper arm that I had ordered. AM-Autoparts was helpful and prompt.

I ordered a Front Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly, and it came damaged. I have attempted to contact AM-Autoparts, and haven't received a response. I sent an email to this company due to them not having a phone number. When I ordered this part (XX-XX-XX), my receipt stating 1 business day delivery. I didn't receive my item until the third day (XX-XX-XX). Once the item arrived it was damaged, and the damaged part cost more to replace than the item itself. All I would like is a replacement of the item or a FULL refund of $ 54.40.Desired SettlementI would accept a replacement or either a complete refund of $ 54.40.
