Like others I thought that I was making a one-time purchase only to discover that they were charging my credit card monthly. I called and told them and they said that they were going to refund my card for all but the first order. Rip off because the cream burns the area where it is applied. When I purchased, it was advertised under Hoda Kotb's name!

Not satisfied with the product and need the product stopped

Not satisfied with product and need the product stopped.

Desired Outcome

Stop the product from being sent anymore..

first you get a jar at a reasonable price but then they have your credit card number...Basically they are thieves! Phone number I had was another con job about reduced price etc. I returned the box unopened asked for a signature upon receipt ($10+postage) it was returned with notation 'No such address'...I cancelled the credit card so they wouldn't have a chance to steal anymore of my money. Why aren't they in jail for credit card fraud and bank fraud???

WE MADE THIS PURCHASE AND MY WIFE FOUND OUT THAT THE PRODUCT HAS DAMAGED HER SKIN AND CAUSES IT TO BURN
Product_Or_Service: EYE SERUM AND SKIN CREAM

Desired Outcome

Refund THIS PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE AND WE WANT ALL OUR MONEY BACK

I bought face and eye cream from Ambrosina. I was unaware that after 14 days that I would be charged $89.95 and $89.92.
On February 1st I bought face and eye cream under the pretense that Matthew McConaughey had was raising money for a charity and all profits were going to his charity.
I was unaware that it was a trial offer and that I would be charged for the creams after 14 days and then put on a monthly subscription if I did not cancel.
When I saw the charges of $89.95 and $89.92 in March I called my credit card to report fraud. The credit card looked into it and could not help me.
My charge card was charged under the name REVERSE MAG-SKINCREAM.COM. When I called the company they said they represent many skin products and that this was under the name The AMBROSINA.
They said they were out of Miami but there is no address for them in Miami.
When I went to look on Amazon the cream is sold for $15.04!
This company is scamming consumers like me!

Desired Outcome

I want a refund to my credit card of the two charges that I was unaware of. Which were: $89.95 plus $89.92. A total of $179.87.

I purchased the initial order at the discounted offered price w/o auto shipment. I tried the creams for a while, then decided it wasn't for me. About a month later, I received a debit to my account for another shipment for the full price. Then a few days later I received the products in the mail. I contacted customer service number on the packing list. I explained that I wanted to return the unopened items for a full refund, after all I did not agree to this shipment. First I was offered a discounted price to keep the product, then they discounted it again. When I told them no...I did not want it they came back and offered me a refund of 1/3 the amount that was taken out of my account (without authority) and for me to keep the product, I told them no. They came back with another offer to refund me about 3/4 of what was taken out of my account (without authority) and to keep the product and again I told them NO, I wasn't bargaining for a refund. Basically the very nice girl I talked with told me that the "best they can do" is offer me the 3/4 refund.....NOTHING MORE. So they took my money without permission, then won't take the product back. Totally dissatisfied with this company. I will not refer anyone to buy this cream. Total scam.

Thought I had free trial. Unauthorized charges on credit card.
Paid shipping for an advertised free trial of two products. The following month I get an 89.92 charge on credit card. I guess another pending charge for about the same according to my bank. Called to cancel and then they tell you if you do not cancel they will charge you 29.95. No authorization given for charges and certainly not a free trial.

Desired Outcome

Would like a refund.

I just want my money back I never was informed of all these additional fees
Order # *** order date 2/10/2019 I ordered this product for $2.99 and then they charged my card an additional 9.95 and now again they have taken 89.95 from my account I'm on a fixed income no .one ever told me I would be charged all these additional fees and my car insurance cancelled because of this

Desired Outcome

I just want my money back for false advertising they never said anything about all these additional fees

Free trial offer not free.
Did not want automatic reorders
Won't accept unused still packaged products back.
Full costs not disclosed.
Free trial not free.
Full costs not revealed.
Refusal to accept still packaged returns.

Desired Outcome

Accept unused packaged products - returns. My charges dropped.

Ambrosina advertised online free sample of its eye cream. Free sample was sent but now company is billing me $99.00 monthly for skin care products.
Upon receiving in the mail from Ambrosina on 3/23/2019,I contacted Customer Support at 855-984-9715 and spoke to Sales Agent #***,and asked why I received this product. She told me that I will now be billed $99.00 monthly since I did not contact them within 14 days of receiving free sample to cancel my monthly order. When I told her that this info was NOT provided on their online advertisement, she insisted that I was at fault. Finally after her offering me a 10% discount, then a 50% discount and finally a 75% refund of the"$99.00 and after consulting with her supervisor numerous times, she stated that all my money would be returned upon their receipt of the product (that I had not ordered)and my "contract" would be cancelled.

Desired Outcome

I do not want any further products from Ambrosina. I want an immediate refund of the $99.00 they have billed me and to DISCONTINUE the contract they insist that I agreed to when they advertised a "free sample" of their eye cream online.

I never ordered ANYTHING from this company, never received anything from this company. They stole $600 from me.
I don't know how this company got ahold of my bank info but they were charging me for product NEVER ordered for 3 months! I noticed on the second month (February) that I had been charged with 4 charges of Totally approx $100 each. It took me a while to figure out what this was or what company was doing this. They charged me first on January 10th. There were two charges 89.92 and 89.95. Supposedly this is some "skin cream." In February they charged me twice at 94.21 and 94.22. This seemed weird to me that they were different costs. I got charged YET AGAIN on March 10th. This time it was the same charges of 94.21 and 94.22. I don't know how they think they can get away with me supposedly buying things on THE EXACT same day every month. It made no sense to me. All I know it is a complete fraud. I did not order any products or services from this company. I did call my bank and make a report to them but I opted out of getting a new debit card at the moment because I have so many auto pays set up. I feel like I shouldn't have to go through the trouble when a company blatantly stole money from my account. I am absolutely abhorred at what thru were trying to get away with. I want ALL my money back. This is absolutely illegal. This company needs to be outed as scammers.

Desired Outcome

I want all my money back and I want people to be warned about this company scamming your bank account.

At first I liked it. But then I noticed Ambrosina took $87.?? twice out of my bank account. Then on March 22nd they took out the same amount again twice out again. To top it all off I didn't even get my 2nd monthly order. In which I'm going to refuse it when it comes in the mail. RETURN TO SENDER. Then I'm telling my bank to refuse payment on them. IF ANYONE THAT READS THIS, TAKE HEED AND DO NOT ORDER FROM THE. THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST.

I think this is a scam . It gave my face Hives . After 2 days I called the company to see what to do with the product . Reported this to my bank , my bank contacted them . and I got a $ 89.95 & $ 89.92 refund . That was in January 2019, now March ,on or about the 12 th 2019, I have the same two charges taken out of my bank account again . That's a little over $ 179.00 that I'm going to have to deal with .

They falsely advertise a $5 makeup item but then charge your C.C. each month for $100 there after! They put you on a $100 monthly subscr. unknowingly!
My Mom is 68 and never wears makeup. While I am having cancer treatments she is in the hospital waiting (January 2019) and thought she or I might like these 2 little makeup thingies for $5 each. It never came, and my Mom forgot about it. Few weeks later (March 1) I find an Eye cream in the mail - addressed to her, but she didn't order anything! She started to check things and find out, that while she obviously only ordered the 2 lipsticks or whatever, they actually put her on a program and are charging her card monthly. For just under $100 each time. 3 times now. I called and supervisor Shawna claimed she was only charged once, and that that would be returned. My mom went by her bank though, it was confirmed they did take it off 3 times. I called again today and first Michaela didn't see where it was taking off, after I threatened what I would do, she said she would refund the other 2 times as well..It is all a big scheme! I do not feel they will return - nor do I feel her monthly subscr has been cancelled.

Desired Outcome

A full refund and a stop on her subscription A full refund on my return shipping costs Her account to be closed A compensation for all the trouble and stress

Customer Response • Apr 11, 2019

Hi! Yes! I would like to re-open my case! They have again charged my mothers card with almost $100 after receiving emails about her account being closed. I am again calling and trying to get her money back again. Thank you for whatever you can do, or pre warn others.

I purchased a product and a few weeks later received more deductions from this merchant without my authorization.
In December I purchased a skin cream product from this merchant and paid for it. In January this merchant decided to deduct additional money from my bank account. I informed my bank that I didn't allow this second transaction and the merchant argued and said with Visa they were not allowed to return the money back to my account. So I was charged a second fee for a transaction that I did not authorize. I called SW health and spoke with Maria, agent *** who hung up on me, Queen, agent *** who also hung up on me and with Peter, agent *** who would not answer my questions or tell me why I had a second charge to my account for a transaction I didn't authorize and who just kept referring me to my bank. So I am paying a second transaction of $89.92 for a transaction I didn't authorize and a second product I didn't receive. This company has scammed me.

Desired Outcome

I would like to be reimbursed the $89.92 that I didn't authorize as we didn't have a contract in place, I didn't agree to this second transaction am done this company has scammed me.

I was promised there would be no recurring charges and they lied and charged me, sent product again.
These people promised me there would be no recurring charges. They sent more of their product and charged me again, running my bank account dry and into $36.00 charges. I live on SS with my wife and son in college. I cannot afford a theft like this.

Desired Outcome

I seek a refund from them, then no further contact.

No mention of subscription or future charges if I didn't send products back
I ordered the skin cream and eye serum under the "introductory rate" only to find that I was charged $89 *eachafter not sending the products back? I worried it was a subscription so I reviewed everything when I ordered and saw NOTHING along those lines so I thought it was one and done. I called to cancel, they tried to offer me a continued subscription at a deeply discounted rate. I said no to all of it.

Desired Outcome

Refund me the unauthorized charge for the skin cream and eye serum ($89.95 and $89.92 respectively).

This company represents a beauty company (as well as many others!!) called "AmbrosiaSkin.com" and advertised on Facebook for two FREE TRIAL beauty products for the cost of shipping & handling only of $4.99. Foolishly, I provided my bank information online, to pay the s/h to receive the products and use them in my home. They did send the products within a week or so.

Today, while online with my bank, I observed that the company has now charged my checking account $89.92 for a subsequent shipment of the products, which I never authorized! I promptly contacted my bank to report that I never authorized this charge and had to file a formal dispute with my bank to have this matter investigated.

I contacted the company @(833)417-3984*, via the webpage notice on https://swcskincream.com/
The notice says: "ATTENTION! We are sorry to inform you that SWC Skin Cream is no longer accepting new sales. If you have questions or concerns about your past orders or shipments then please call us at (844) 200-0441 or email us at [email protected]. Terms & Conditions" NOTICE: THE NUMBER HAS NOW CHANGED!

I called the number& spoke with a woman who told me that I had authorized the charges for a subsequent purchase and that the terms of the enrollment was on the page for me to read, which was NOT TRUE. I told her there were no "terms" telling me I was enrolling for further shipments or authorizations of further charges on my credit card! She then told me the advertisement spelled out all information. I replied the "AD" did not and that there was NO TERMS or CONDITIONS for any auto-ship type sales arrangement. At this point I was getting angry to be lied to..the woman hung up on me!!

I promptly called the number back that my phone logged and got another woman. I, now mad, repeating I did not authorize anything, the products were to be a trial for only $4.99. No further commitment on my part was authorized. I was told my acct would be cancelled, but no refund would be given since I had not called soon enough.
Product_Or_Service: Ambrosina Skin Products
Order_Number: n/a
Account_Number: n/a

Desired Outcome

Refund The "TERMS and CONDITIONS" of this purchase were simple, I paid for shipping of these two FREE products as was advertised. At NO time did I want or authorize any further shipments, nor did I agree to pay $89.92 a month for on any auto-ship type account. I want my money back!!! (Look up: https://dfw.cbslocal.com/2017/03/03/free-trial-of-beauty-cream-ends-up-being-nothing-close-to-free/) This company has a record of shady business practices.

Ambrosina provides a sample for the cost of shipping ($4.99) then proceeds to set up a recurring charge of $89.92 without my knowledge.
Ambrosina provides a sample for the cost of shipping ($4.99) then proceeds to set up a recurring charge of $89.92 without my knowledge. I understand that this is "negative option billing" and this kind of marketing should be illegal.

Desired Outcome

I want the Revdex.com to work to eliminate negative option billing

I ordered some skin cream without the knowledge that there was any trial period or future charges. Neither the ad or packing slip stated anything.
On 1/30/19 while scrolling on facebook, I saw an ad for Ambrosina skincream FREE for just $4.99 shipping. On 1/30 I was charged $4.99.Received it on 2/4/19. I hadn't used it yet because I was finishing what I was currently using. The packing slip had little on it, didn't even have the 4.99 shipping charge on it. On 2/17/19 I was looking at my banking on line and noticed a $89.92 charge from MBRHEAL Skincream, same as the 4.99 charge. I was surprised and upset. Luckily I still had the packing slip with some info on it.
Order #XXXXXXXX, Ref. #***XXXXX,customer *** sku#***,Ambrosina skin cream palletXXXXXX,and phone #855-984-9715. I immediately called, talked to a Peter. He was telling me there was a 14 day trial period and if I didn't cancel within the 14 days I would and was billed the full price of $89.92 (on 2/16/19).He said he could not refund the $89.92,but he offered to send future shipments for only $19 something each. He would not let me talk to anyone else, so I did end up canceling any future orders, but was still very *** off that I could not get a credit to my account.(Cancelation #***). After hanging up, I thought that 14 days from when I got the product would have been 2/18/19 and that would make the next day day 14. So I called back again talking to someone else (?) and was told that the 14 days started on the day I placed the order. I thought that's stupid! He said all sales are final. I was mad, basically told him to get screwed and hung up.
No where did it say anything about a 14 day trial period and getting a $89.92 charge id I didn't cancel. You would think that the packing slip would have stated it as well as the ad.

Desired Outcome

I think the business should credit my account the $89.92.
