Ambrosina Reviews (%countItem)

This product was avertised in a missleading way. I have been charged 3 additional times for an amount I did not agree to.
I ordered Ambrosina Skin Cream as to be a free trial only to pay the shipping. a 1 time charge, then I get charged for the full cost of the product, twice. I saw an add on Facebook and decided to try it, since I only had to pay for shipping of $4.95. It stated a 1 time charge, so on 12/29/2018 I ordered the product online, I was charged $4.97 and $4.99 for shipping to the JMO HEAL, I think for 2 products the eye serum and the face cream, They were shipped together in 1 box though. sSo not sure why the charge for shipping was charged twice. Febuary 15, I found another change on my account for $94.15 and again on January 15 two charges to my account for $89.92 and and second one for $89.95. I start to worry that I had been hacked so I checked the bank statements and all it has is a phone number so I call them and am told I had 14 days to cancel the order since it was a 14 day trial, I stated there was nothing said when I ordered the product nor with the product showing that when it arrived at my home. I asked for a refund since the product I ordered was a trial offer and was told no because they dont do trial offers they send out the full months product. I explained what the advertisement said and that it stated very clearly that there was a free trial for the Ambrosina and the shipping was the only cost. I did not agree to any kind of 14 day trial, I did agree to a free trial of the product. I have been charged for something that was said to be free. The charges I agreed to were for shipping of $ 4.95 1 time. I purchased this on December 29, 2018. I was charged 3 different amounts that never authorized or agreed to pay. Tried to resolve this issue with customer care on Jan 16, 2019. Filed with the Revdex.com on Jan 16, 2019. I just want the charges refunded back to my account since they clearly misled and lied about the cost.

Desired Outcome

Refund to my account

Received trial sample; product unsatisfactory. another sent; billed credit card $94.00 without my consent or knowledge - Man answering phone evasive.
Trial sample paid S and H - ordered online, date unsure. AmbroSina Skin Cream - did not see fine print about cancelling further mailings of this product. Order # XXXXXXXX, date 12/14/2018 - second jar came, and credit card charged $94.00 without my consent or knowledge. Arrived by USPS, Ref number DXXXXXXXD9, customer *** AmbroSina on Amazon costs $14.00. I did not use this second jar. but destroyed the packaging. Complained to Credit Card company *** Third package came and I 'mailed return to sender.' After second package I had the packing slip and called the number to refuse the product. Man answered and evaded my questions and refused to connect me to a manager. Ph # = 855-984-9715. No one has answered further attempts to call. I believe I have been Billed 2 times for $94.00. Their advertising and terms are misleading and there is an outrageous difference in price charged a credit card vs. buying elsewhere, and it was done without prior notice or consent.
Other info on packing slip = SKU#: *** PremBox/PS Qual: JIT. Pallet : XXXXXX. .10 lbs
TheLast package mailed on Jan. 14, 2019 I complained again to my credit card company and they said the terms of sale are in the fine print. However, I am unable to find an AmbroSina website anywhere to look for these details. I fear I may receive another package on Feb. 14, since it looks like every month they send one and charge me! I have photos of the package I returned, from Jan.14, 2019, with mailing info etc. I would have mailed the second package back Dec.14, 2018 except that I had opened it no product name on box and there was no address to mail it to. I still have the unused jar and can return it to that P.O. Box if necessary.

Desired Outcome

I request that any charges other than the original s and h charges for a sample trial bottle, be credited back to my ***. I would like to see ambroSina sited in business literature as falsely advertising, misleading and unfairly pricing a product.

Customer Response • Apr 03, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she had nothing new to add)
Ambrosina has not credited the two 2 unwarranted charges of $94 onto my credit card, and has not communicated with me in any other way. Perhaps they need a mailing address for me and no longer have my credit card number. I would not want to give them any more personal info.
Please inform me what you have learned or /and how you are proceeding, because Ambrosina - at least in that particular office - has acted falsely. The $94+ charge is way above listed prices for their product on other websites where they advertise. And I repeat - I was not shown or informed in same way,, that they would charge my cc for $94.00/month.

In fact, the info for the pop-up ad - if there was any info - was insignificantly presented about cancelling or they would keep sending the product and charging my account.

Unauthorized billing and shipment. I have contacted them
Multiple times to give me a refund and to take me off the mailing list and they do not
January 28, 2019 is the second shippment. Unaware of charge and was charged 94.91.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund and to be taken off their mailing list and billing list

I purchased this product for 4.99 s&h twice and not given the time to try before I could cancel within the 14 days given. Charged by the 10th day.
I ordered the trail and wanted to cancel before the trail time was over. The day I was calling to cancel they charged me twice. My problem date 2/7/19, purchase date 1/22/19, model number XXXXXX & XXXXXX, order number XXXXXXXX , acct number *** I don't remember the sales rep name and I paid with my debit visa card. I didn't know that I was going to be charged twice for the same items. This money was part of my bill and medicine. I called for a refunds and explain to them that this was false advertisement and that I hadn't had the product 10 days before they charged me and she told me it was a four day travel time. This is not what the advertisement said. I then called my bank and they stated that the funds were gone and they couldn't get my funds back. I'm a senior citizen and I only have limited income. I was not prepared for this type of money to come out of my account. I just want my refund for 89.95 & 89.92. I received the packages on 1/26/19. I didn't request for 2 packages nor 2 charges. This was a scam and I just want my refund back , I can also send the items back.

Desired Outcome

I just want me refund back for these items i wanted to cancel before i was to be charged for and the extra funds they took out my account when i didnt askf for a second order.

there is nothing noting you are committing to a contract when signing up for the "free trail".
I was informed when calling to inquire of the charges there is nothing I can do. Stating there is a "no refund policy" and it is noted in the terms & conditions which are on another page which cannot be printed that if not cancelled within 14 days you will be charged.

Desired Outcome

I want my $180.00 back for the membership I did not request be signed up for!

Company billed us after we followed instructions to cancel the program.
My wife ordered a trial supply of their skin product and eye serum. The product was not to her personal taste, so she stopped using. She received the product on or around 1/22/2019.
She sent them an email to the address in their terms requesting to cancel her from their program. On 1/30/2019 they billed her and we were actually contacted by our bank, PNC, about the charges. On 2/6, the company attempted to charge her debit card again, but had reduced the fee to $49. I called on my wife's behalf to resolve the matter and they kept me on the phone for over 30 minutes trying to get me to agree to pay for some portion of their product.
They started out at 50% off and then offered $19 charge, and then came back with 75% off.
I've attached the terms which I kept reading to the representative. The terms explicitly state 'you will not receive additional product and you will not be charged anything else.' I had to keep reading this to the representative. You will not be charged anything. See full terms, as follows: Trial Terms - Automatic Monthly Shipment Program and Cancellation Policy: Upon signing up for your trial, you will be sent a 30-day supply of SWC Skin Cream and the credit card you provide will be charged a one-time processing fee of $4.95. Unless you cancel by no later than 18 days from your date of enrollment, you will be automatically charged the full purchase price ($89.95) eighteen (18) days (14 days plus 4 days S&H) from your trial start date and you will be enrolled in our auto-ship program ("Program"). You will be sent a 30-day supply about every 30 days thereafter, and you will be charged or debited $94.90 (which includes S&H to the same card that you provided until you cancel. You acknowledge and agree that your enrollment in the Program constitutes preauthorization to be charged for each installment, and SWC Health LLC will not obtain additional authorization from you after today for charges to your credit card or debits made from your debit card account. You are solely responsible for any overdraft charges or fees you incur resulting from any purchase you make of any Product, and enrollment and continued participation in the Program. If you contact customer service to terminate your trial enrollment within 18 days from the date you enrolled, you will not receive additional product and you will not be charged anything else. You can cancel at any time by contacting our customer care at (844) 200-0441 or email [email protected].

Desired Outcome

They've promised me a full refund to be received in 3-10 days which makes no sense since they can do a reverse charge in seconds. If I receive, no further action will be requested from me. For future customers, I feel the Revdex.com should be advised the company used tactics that are intended to wear a person down and partake in unreasonable negotiation--they kept trying to get me to accept a partial refund. Keeping someone on hold for long periods of time and disputing their refund process, which I had in front of me was reprehensible. Unfortunately, seems to match other complaints online about this company.

This company is sneaky and uses bad advertising to bad advertising to suck you into a contract.
My wife saw an add for a FREE trial on Facebook and agreed to pay shipping and handling to get both the face and eye cream. As we were going over our finances we doscovdisc some money ($180) missing! Turns out if you don't cancel (which is a pain, I went round and round with them for over an hour just to get them to cancel). Then they hold stubbornly to their 30 day policy on refunds. Now we're stuck with two 90 dollar products that you can get on Amazon for $30! They would not work with me, just kept repeating their policy in broken English, and even hung up on me when I persisted in requesting a refund. They are dishonest and criminal! Do not fall for their tricks!

Desired Outcome

I want my money back. I have the product, unopened , sealed, and more than willing to send it back!

This product was advertised as a Ellen DeGeneres product. I trust Ellen of course and thought - she looks good, I'll try this. As soon as I ordered the trial samples something popped up that said this was NOT an Ellen DeGeneres product. I thought - well, it's under $10.00 so I won't bother. Then about 2 weeks later they charged me almost $180.00 for these 2 small jars of cream. Nothing special by the way. I called and they went back and forth with me saying they'd take 20% off, then 50% off, then 75% off. I was so mad - I kept saying I want all my money back and I want it NOW! I threatened to call the police and report them to the Revdex.com. I did get my money back and I will be so much more careful now. There are so many scams out there. Be careful people!

High risk free trials, no customer service available, calls sit on hold for hours, no response to emails for returns or cancellations.
Zero customer service, payments taken without authorization plainly stated, hidden subscription in fine print that did not come up on free trial page. Was sent in an email after well after the fact. Customer service calls go unanswered for hours and emails go unanswered. No return or cancellation is able to be made without contact and no contact can be made. This is a scam. Without cancelling your bank card there is no way to stop payment.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund and cancellation of the subscription and for this "business" to stop scamming others.

Ambrosina advertises free trial on products you pay shipping. The information is misleading and they are using big celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres
Ordered on 1/12/19 customer *** ref.# XXXXXAE525 they mislead customers with unexpected charges after purchasing the free sample they call it but a week later you get charged 89.95 each. I had a total of 179.47 taken out of my bank account.

Desired Outcome

They need to stop scamming people misleading information. They need to refund people's money that they have taken. They charge retail price for what people think is a free sample.

I signed up for a "free trial" and I was later billed 89.98$ (twice) overdrawing my bank account. I did not authorize these deductions from my bank.
On 1/4/19 I was offered a "Free Trial" to try a facial cream and I was lead to believe that I only had to pay shipping. I received the product and I didn't even have time to try the product because it took two weeks for shipping and by the time I was about to try it the company charged my bank account twice in the amounts of $89.95, in turn overdrawing my bank account resulting in a $35 overdraft fee for each charge. I called the company to have them refund my account and they only offered me a $134.90 refund because I apparently signed up for a membership that I did NOT know about. I spoke with two different agents who were rude, disrespectful and unhelpful. I then requested to speak to a manager, and she continued to be completely arrogantly rude, insulting my intelligence by saying, "well if you learned to read...". She again reiterated that she would refund me $134.90 out of the $254.85 that was taken from my bank account after the two UNAUTHORIZED $89.95 charges, the two $35.00 overdraft fees from my bank account and the 4.95 I paid for the shipping.

This company is ridiculously sneaky, they are rude and disrespectful. I signed up for a FREE TRIAL, not a $254.85 unauthorized deduction from my bank account. I don't want to deal with this inhumane, ignorant, careless company. I just want a full refund. They can keep the shipping costs because I did agree to that, but all other costs I need refunded. I even pleaded with the manager telling her that my account was so overdrawn now that I couldn't even pay my electric bill, and she proceeded to tell me that "well ma'am that's not my problem." I am FURIOUS. I want this fixed ASAP!

False advertising and fraudulent charges.
I ordered a free trial of the ambrosia skin cream. I placed my order and noticed later there was another charge for the eye serum which I didn't order. On 1-21-2019 my bank informed me there was a charge over 80.00 from the same business. I did not order anything else from this company. There was also nothing in the email stating there would be an automatic monthly payments for future products. This place is scamming people and charging their accounts without their knowledge.

Desired Outcome

My bank cancelled the charges. I did not sign up for any future products.

Paid shipping and handling for Ambrosina Skin Cream. Free Trial sample

Desired Outcome

I have already contacted my bank. So, I am disputing the charge. I was a credit back to my account. I also want this company to be investigated for their fraudulent practices. I sent them an email today

First of all, I believe this company falsely used video of a high profile celebrity to promote its product on the internet. The celebrity's direct involvement did lend the product, "Ambrosina," credibility to me, enough to give it a try. Foolish, I admit. The video clip had a very short life, because after a thorough search, it has completely disappeared. And after reading other complaints against this company, I see that other people have had similar experiences with images of other celebrities. What I saw on January 3, 2019, appeared to be Matthew McConaughey and wife promoting Ambrosina skin cream. Out of their sheer benevolence and generosity they wanted to send out a free jar of it to everyone.

Secondly, this company arranges their website to hoodwink visitors into accepting products they don't want, and also into accepting a monthly subscription they are not aware they are agreeing to. Here's my experience: On January 3, 2019, after I see the McConaughey promotion video and agree to try a jar of the skin cream "for free" by just paying for shipping, a screen appears offering to add on an eye serum for the cost of shipping only. I don't want it. I don't see a place to select "no." There's a large "continue" button below. I select that. Now the next screen indicates I have chosen the eye serum and am being billed for the shipping of that as well. I try to go back to the previous screen, but the charge remains. The transaction is complete.

A confirmation email is sent soon afterward. I promptly respond advising that I did not want the eye serum, but didn't know how to not select it, and to please remove it and reverse the charge. No response. On January 7, shipping confirmation is sent for both products. I respond with another email to its customer support. Again, no response. Both products arrive soon after, and LESS than two weeks later, on January 20, my bank's fraud department notifies me that attempted fraudulent activity has been detected by this company on my account. Two withdrawals of just under $90 each were attempted. Only after looking at the Revdex.com website today and reading the other complaints against this company have I learned that this is their method of operation, which is apparently intended to catch visitors unaware and raid their bank accounts, under the guise that they have opted into a subscription. I am thankful my bank is paying attention. And these people should be put in jail.

Desired Outcome

I want this company to cease and desist any further attempts to access my bank account with the intent to take money from me, or otherwise try to collect money from me, or claim it is entitled to any funds it may believe are owed to it by me, and give up any assertion that I have entered into any contract with it for any of its products.

was to be a free trial only to pay the shipping. a 1 time charge, then I get charged for the full cost of the product, twice.

So today I noticed a debit from my account for $49.92 and and second one for $49.95. I start to worry that I had been hacked so I checked the bank statements and all it has is a phone number so I call them and am told I had 14 days to cancel the order since it was a 14 day trial, I stated there was nothing said when I ordered the product nor with the product showing that when it arrived at my home. Tried to resolve this issue with customer care on Jan 15, 2019.
Filed with the Revdex.com on Jan 15, 2019.
I just want the charges refunded back to my account since they clearly misled and lied about the cost.

Desired Outcome

I want my money back for the charges they stated were a free trial.

Thought I was ordering samples paying shipping only. W
On line advertisement for samples just pay shipping. Recieved full size and charged for shipping and also charged a very high price for a product I didn't want. I then recieved more and charged a very high price again without my authorization. I sent products back a couple weeks ago and have not heard anything and have not been refunded. Very upset this money was taken out at Christmas time and left me short. Almost 400.00 has been charged to my bank account and I would like this back. False advertising is not right.

Desired Outcome

Full refund

Customer Response • Jan 22, 2019

After sending my second order of creams I had not asked for back to this company with a letter asking that they no longer send me this product and refund me I noticed a third time charges for the 2 items taken from my bank account. So once again I called and actually got to talk to someone. I tried explaining to her the situation but she was very hard to understand and pretty much told me I would not get my money back for products I did not want and had mailed back. This is really causing me a lot of grief I not only have to cancel my bank account I am out $ 600.00. When getting home I have received yet another box of creams. When sending the last one back I sent it so they would have to acknowledge getting it and I never did. Places like this should be shut down if they think they can rip people off like this. And I thought this was going to be reputable where it's Joanna Gaines boy was I wrong. Please just help me get my money back and stopping them from taking anymore thank you. And they conveniently make it hard to get in touch with them.

Company is misleading with their "free" product and will not refund my money.
I signed up for and paid shipping for a "free" eye serum and eye cream. After 14 days I was then charge for these "Free" products $89 dollars each. I called to confirm with the company (even finding the phone number was difficult) and was told that since I used the product I could now not get a refund. I was told that I was not sent a sample but a full 30 day supply and that I had not called to cancel within 14 days so I was now being charged the full amount for the cream and serum.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund for the $89.95 and $89.92.

I ordered a product and asked for a refund and they refused. Poor customer service and poor advertising of details of ordering on the web page.
I came across an ad for this skin cream on 11/12/18. I was interested so clicked the link which took me to the following web page: https://tryambrosinaskin.com/promo/oa/index.php?affId=A5EC8C24&c1=207606&clcsr=1... /> I'm skeptical, nothing is ever as it seems. I read the whole page which does not state anywhere on the page that I had 14 days to try the product then would have to cancel or be charged 89.92 for the eye serum and 89.92 for the face cream. I figured for $4.95 sure I'd try it out. Then 15 days later, My debit card is charged a total of $179.87 for the product. I called customer service, they were less than helpful at first, but I kept insisting that I wanted my money back. Finally one lady I spoke to gave me all the information to return the product. I did, They received the product back on 12/10/18. I received one refund for $89.95 fairly quickly. She did say it would take 2-3 weeks so I waited for the 2nd refund. Finally on 1/3/18 I called customer service again. The guy was unwilling to give me a refund. I expressed my upset I was that now I am out of the product that I returned and out of $89.92? That is pretty unfair , when I followed directions. I finally convinced him to ship me another product. But I didn't want the product I wanted my money back. I understand my ignorance to the stipulations associated with the purchase, but if you look at the website, not one word about the stipulation. NOT ONE WORD, that is obvious for the general public. Not one word on the email invoice I received nor on the invoice with the product. I kept looking for a catch, and when they didn't flat out say it, I assumed it was as such, a trial product and if I liked it I'd order it. The very same product I found on Amazon for $39!! The website itself doesn't give a section for reviews.

Desired Outcome

Ideally I would like my money back. That is what would make me happy at the end of the day. But at a very minimum, they should have to place the stipulations very clear, and obvious for people to understand. I cannot be the only person scammed by this company? The webpage is misleading and I think it needs to be fixed.

False advertised about who endorsed this co. And hiding terms not easily seen causing me to be subscribed for what thought was purely a free sample
I clicked on a link on Facebook that took me to a page that advertised a face cream that Kelly Ripka supposedly owned and started. It is my understanding that this is not true. They offered a free sample if I just paid for shipping. But I did not see terms that said if I did not cancel within a month I would be subscribed. When I called to cancel they refused to give me an address or phone # of someone I could discuss with.

Desired Outcome

I want to report company to Revdex.com and would like a refund of the one month subscription of $49.92

I ordered samples of Ambrosina skin cream & eye serum in Oct.2018. I received those items. The next month they charged my account $89.95 & $49.92

Ambrosina made charges to my account again in November 2018 and tried to make additional charges in Dec. 2018 but were unable to due to a freeze on my account. I did not authorize any additional payments. I have emailed them and written letters to ask for a credit back to my account in the amount of $139.87. To date they have credited my account a total of $27.97. I asked for a full refund and cancellation of any further charges to my account. I have also reported them to the FTC Reference # XXXXXXXXX

Desired Outcome

I want the full refund amount of $139.87 and no further charges in the future. I am happy to return the product to an address they give me.

Customer Response • Jan 17, 2019

The company has credited my account the full amount I requested as of today Jan. 11, 2019.
