Credit does not stop reporting once an account is charged off, paid, or settled.  The credit reporting accurately reflects the history of the account.

ACA makes courtesy collection calls and will not leave a message when we feel it is inappropriate to do so. ACA has reviewed the Transunion credit reporting and have found the information in the report to be accurate.  We will send Ms. [redacted] a copy of the history we are reviewing by secured email so she can compare it to the report she has obtained.  The report we are reviewing does not include any payment information and comes directly from Transunion.  We look forward to resolving this matter.

situation.  The issue involves a vehicle
warranty claim where the warranty company is requiring additional information
before they are willing to make a decision on whether they would be approving
or denying the repair claim.  Based on the information they had received
from the customer’s mechanic, they
determined that they did not have enough information to make the
evaluation.   Also, due to the situation with the vehicle, ACA is
willing to discuss settling the account to resolve the problem. If the customer

the phone.   ACA was sorry to hear Mr. [redacted] was in an accident with the vehicle financed by ACA.  When this type of situation occurs, monthly payments are still due on the account even though insurance is pending.  In some cases, the primary insurance, GAP insurance, and refunds from ancillary products are not enough to pay out the contract.  Reasons vary, but late fees and additional interest accrued due to late payments are the main reasons a small balance sometimes remains on a loan, even after GAP coverage has been applied.   In this situation, a settlement offer was proposed and accepted by Mr. [redacted].  The settlement offer is still valid and is set to expire 7/1/2017.  If Mr. [redacted] is still interested in the settlement or needs some additional time, ACA is more than willing to make adjustments as needed.  We do appreciate his business and will be available if he has any additional question.  We can be reached at 864-[redacted] or [redacted].com.       Keith K[redacted] Customer Experience Manager
