American Freight will swap out the set again.  Customer has spoke to our VP and has been advised to return the furniture for a replacement.

Mr [redacted] has lied and said someone will get furniture and offers no refund has complaints with Ohio general office for fraud and deception I will be sending copies of case numbers to Revdex.com for further review. And other documents to Revdex.com don't want to go into a spitting match with American Freight I gave them more than one opportunity as a consumer to make it right and at this time I have experienced they and Mr [redacted] can't be trusted.

Customer called our store saying his mattress was delivered damaged.  We told him we will be happy to replace it but it was on backorder by the manufacturer and explained when it came in we would be happy to replace it.  The manufacturer finally shipped inventory a month and half later which we apologized for!  For the inconvenience we upgraded this customer free of charge to another design of mattress and gave him free delivery which he thanked the delivery for taking care of him.....also on top of this ustomer got to keep his old mattress.  (Our assistant manager personally delivered this mattress to him to make sure he was taken care of)We apologize for any and all miss communications but American Freight feels this customer has been compensated for the inconvenience and that this compensation is fair, there will be no more compensation given.  Please take note that All our Sales are Final which states on all our customer receipts.

Called customer, left voicemail letting her know she could come in to reselect or refund at her convenience.

This complaint lays unresolved because this customer expected our delivery people to have her cash refund when picking up her furniture.....when she was explained that she must come to the store to receive her cash refund if we had enough in our cash drawer and refund the rest of the monies back on her credit card.  American Freight must have the returned furniture back in house before any refund processes.This offer stands for one more try.....we will come to get her furniture, she must come to the store to receive her cash refund (IF ENOUGH IS IN THE DRAWER TO GIVE AT THAT TIME) if not a check will be sent to her home in 7 to 14 business days for this cash.Please have this customer call to schedule her pick up on her furniture and then to be refunded

Consumer called Revdex.com advising that the item was delivered and issued has been resolved.

I reject the response from American Freight because when I purchased the warranty, I was told that any damage could either be repaired or replaced. What is it specifically are they saying that the manufacturer doesn’t cover? They didn’t say what was covered. And in regards to the colors of the furniture, I had to track the corporate office down about getting it replaced which was in 2015. At that time, I lost my boyfriend to diabetic ketoacidosis & went through a bout of depression. So at the time when they were trying to contact me, I was getting help. They should not be allowed to Sell warranties on furniture they don’t plan on honoring, nor putting in fine print on receipts what is covered under the warranty. I also notice they never clarified the issue about the length of my warranty. This company has shown they use bad business practices to me when I spent over $2500 purchasing furniture from them. I would appreciate them just on good faith to honor what was told to me by their representative. They didn’t even offer to repair the furniture. I’m not satisfied by their response at all. This is poor customer service & dissuaded repeat business.

According to the system all she is missing is the headboard, which I have transferred for her and is available for pick up or drop off.  We have attempted to call her numerous times (which is updated in the notes, I called her again today) to get her the headboard, a partial refund, or an...

upgrade.  I have no way of knowing if there is any other problem with this sale because she refuses to answer the phone or call myself or Dalton back.

The last response from AF has the customer service # in it you can call to place a claim.

As stated before.....BOTH MATTRESS LOOK A LIKE. IT ALSO STATES "PRICES FROM"......CUSTOMER WALKS INTO THE STORE AND IS SHOWN THIS MATTRESS. CUSTOMER DOES NOT LIKE IT BECAUSE IT IS JUST FOAM....WE SHOW HER THE MATTRESS THAT HAS FOAM AND COILS WHICH IS CONSIDERED THE UPGRADE....CUSTOMER CHOOSES IT BUT MUST PAY THE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE BECAUSE IT IS THE UPGRADED MATTRESS---THE ONE THAT HAS THE COILS NOT JUST FOAM!!
THERE WILL BE NO REFUND ON A DIFFERENCE OF PRICE WHEN THE CUSTOMER WAS EXPLAINED THE DIFFERENCE AND WHY THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. CUSTOMER CHOOSE TO PURCHACE IT KNOWINGLY OR WOULD HAVE HAD THESE QUESTIONS AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE!!

I explained to this customer that the furniture on her layaway is available at the manufacturer however we cannot order it until the layaway is paid in full. She asked me about a refund and I explained that we can refund the money as a store credit to be used towards anything she wants. At...

this point the customer demanded a cash refund so I explained that we can only issue a refund within the first 10 days and she has been paying on this layaway for a year.   American Freight is entitled to their policies and must adhere to them.

We would be willing to re-select the customer to a different set but our sales are final and there will be no refund.  We will be happy to get your warranty registered and apologize for this inconvenience!

American Freight needs to respond to my attorney who already has sent pictures of the damaged furniture.

This customer furniture has been delivered.

This customer received his sectional two days ago and received free delivery.

I was told we'll be receiving furniture today June 11,2016.We shall see. I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.

the couch they replaced this one with is broken again, I am awaiting them to call me with an appointment to fix it. I will NEVER deal with this company again after this. Neither will my friends or family.
