This customer has until this Friday.......on customers receipt their is no charge for a sofa and loveseat....nonetheless we stand by our last 2 responses!!THIS CUSTOMER HAS BEEN REFUNDED BY HER CREDIT CARD SERVICE AND ALSO HAS OUR FURNITURE.   FURNITURE MUST BE PAID FOR OR IT WILL BE PICKED UP IN A LEGAL FASHION!DUE DATE FOR PAYMENT OR PICK UP OF FURNITURE 9/30/16

[redacted] was taking care of on Sunday 2/4.  The customer was waiting on a Haven Motion loveseat that was on backorder.  As soon as we got the Haven loveseat back in we called [redacted] with the good news that his loveseat came in, so on 2/4 [redacted] came in with the damaged...

loveseat and was exchanged for the new Haven loveseat.

American Freight can certainly do that.......if this customer wishes to bring in her credit cart we will be happy to put $100 back on her credit card.

This customers corporate refund check went out Monday the 22nd from Delaware Ohio.

Yes the new crew came out and...

the "new" crew who they sent out, damaged a dresser I have, put marks on my wall, threw two support pieces into drawers because they didn't know where they were supposed to go, and didnt put a wooden piece in place with bolts so now my bed is essentially not put together properly AGAIN! The  crew they had sent out never even put together a bed before and the American free attorney is shored me that the crew they were sending out to my home knew what they were doing.  they did apologize for scratching up my existing dresser. The attorney hasn't responded any emails or phone calls from my attorney. So how else am I being compensated?

This customer first called up and claimed there was some damage to her furniture.  We told her we would do a claim because she had it in her home for a couple weeks.  We explain to her the claim process and told her she must send pictures of the defects on this furniture and we would send...

to the manufacturer for a approval or denial---for a replacement"manufacturer must make decision".  Customer refused, did not want replacement wants refund.    Customer calls months later and now this furniture also has bedbugs.   We told her that this furniture has been in her home for extended amount of time and has been exposed to her environment and the elements .  American Freight sprays their warehouses monthly and her furniture stays rapped from the manufacturer until received, cameras in store showed.Customer will not be refunded.   All our receipts and signs above all our counters say "OUR SALES ARE FINAL" but in good faith if she would send pictures of this damaged furniture, American Freight will do a claim.   Please send pictures to [redacted]@americanfreight.us.  NO REFUND BUT HAPPY TO DO A CLAIM TO SEE IF WE CAN GET IT REPLACED

We have contacted this customer.   We will give him a brand new piece out of the warehouse instead of the clearance piece he purchased and will replace his lamp as well.  This delivery will occur after 4pm today as he is at work.

This customer was explained at our counter at time of purchase about our...

delivery service and that this service was subcontracted out. This customer separated her purchases AND EACH DELIVERY, IT'S SERVICES, MUST BE PAID FOR-ONLY B/O AND REPLACEMENTS DUE TO DAMAGE ARE OF FREE DELIVERY.
THERE WILL BE NO REFUND ON ANY DELIVERY FOR THIS CUSTOMER!

This customer will be refunded.  Our manufacturer cannot make ITEM/PRODUCT within the 30 days.  Our layaway policy states if we cannot get item within 30 days STARTING FROM CUSTOMERS FINAL PAYMENT DAY.....customer can be refunded.  Customer will receive a corporate check for the cash...

he paid on this purchase.....if a credit card was also used during this purchase.....customer must go into the store to have credit card swiped for this refund.This customer has been explained this numerous times.   CUSTOMER WILL BE REFUNDED IN A CORPORATE CHECK SENT TO THE STORE....THE STORE WILL CALL CUSTOMER TO HAVE CUSTOMER SIGN TO RECEIVE THIS REFUND.   Please advise customer.

Customer received a free set of coffee and end tables on 6/30 for her inconvenience.  That was the same day this complaint was sent to the Revdex.com.  I left her a voicemail and haven't received a response yet......

I am not missing a headboard! I am missing a dresser and a mirror which I have signed by an employee at this worthless business! They did call this Shay person to have her speak with me but plain as day told us over the phone that she was on vacation and couldn't be bothered with this! This is horrible management! I have planned to speak with my lawyer about further action I can take in this matter! Thank you for taking your customers money and never giving them their items! It's pathetic that 2 days shy of a month since purchase my items were never ordered! I'm sure they still are not ordered even being back in that worthless store!

This customer upon paying was explained about our sub-contracting delivery service, its fee and if assembly was needed, there would be a fee for this also.
When you use a service and they labor ALL MUST BE PAYED FOR..EVERYONE SHOULD SHOW THIS RESPECT AND COMPASSION FOR EACH OTHER!! Our...

sub-contracting delivery service will be happy to go back out and charge $40 to assemble...though now customer has told us her neighbor put it all together already.
Our people our trained to explain the extended services we offer to help all of our customers if they are in need of this help.

All our sales are final. This is stated on all our receipts and signs above all our counters!
Customer will not be refunded, though customer can be replaced, reselect or have a store credit.
Please ask customer when calling into our company that everyone must use respect!

When you have a customer who speaks foul and becomes so defiant to all and everyone at American Freight store and corporate office, you cannot have a rational conversation with them and communication cease because of such aggression,
This customer has been explained by everyone that her claim was...

denied by Guardian because it did not meet the warranty guidelines on her Guardian policy and that this is between Guardian and herself. This is not an AMERICAN FREIGHT WARRANTY.....NONETHELESS...GUARDIAN WANTED TO CLEAN HER PIECE OF FURNITURE ANYWAY!!
This customer also told our CS rep that she DID receive the kit with the Guardian Policy in it and wanted a replacement.
A WARRANTY DOES NOT MEAN INSTANT REPLACEMENT IT MEANS YOU MUST MEET THE GUIDELINES IN THE WARRANTY--THIS CUSTOMER DID NOT--- THIS CUSTOMER WANTED AN INSTANT REPLACEMENT AND IS UPSET WITH AMERICAN FREIGHT BECASUE WE WILL NOT REPLACE IT.
1. Guardian wishes to clean this piece of furniture AND IS DOING A SERVICE TO HER AND THE WARRANTY!
2. American Freight has nothing to do with this claim. The warranty bought is not an American Freight warranty it is a Guardian Warranty!
3. American Freight will not do business with a customer when all they do is curse, curse and curse!!

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution partially satisfactory to me. I did talk to the Regional manager but there was no discussion of extra fabric. I appreciate the $100 credit,  but I will never shop at this store again. I'd like to request a refund of that  $100 be sent to my home address, instead of the credit.

This customer has been refunded.   This customer was never told there was a "recall" but explained there was a new design.  This customer kept the frame and box spring but has been refunded

This customer has received her bedroom set and is continuing to pay on her layaway for her living room set.

Consumers should be protected from poor quality service delivered by this business. Delivery of broken furniture with damage to wood frame and damage to the framework of furniture should not be allowed to continue indefinitely. I have received broken wood and broken drawers on this bedroom suite on 3 separate occasions and I think this business should have to be responsible for delivering unusable furniture on an ongoing basis. They should be required to implement some type of limitation on the number of unacceptable deliveries to their consumers. This business does not give consumers information that furniture will be delivered by an independent contractor that is not employed by their corporation and even though I was promised that the last delivery was going to be inspected thoroughly I still received unusable furniture. Consumers should NOT be responsible to inspect furniture delivered by this business. They should be held responsible to honor their sales and make sure that their deliveries are acceptable when received by the consumer.This company should be held responsible to make all consumers fully aware of the limitations of their transactions since this information is not fully stated on the contract presented to consumers for final signature.
