My home owner insurance company would say or do anything so they wouldn't pay to fix my roof or anything that has to be fix in my house and I just couldn't deal with them anymore. One of my neighbor say to me try American Hero Construction, I said to my neighbor " We had 3 different contractor and non of them was able to get the insurance company to cover anything". I nearly gave up after they all basically told me that my home owner insurance company is the worst Insurance company that they have ever had to deal with. Months when by as all of my neighbors roof was being replace or repaired and my 20 years ago home had the same old roof even from suffering from all these crazy Hurricanes (Charley,Irma etc) I said to myself let me give it one last try. I decide to call AHC I spoke to Carlos and I explain to him the issues that have been encountering with my Home Owner Insurance he said he will do is very very best to help me get things situated. I said to Carlos GOOD LUCK!! because you are the 4th contractor.. Yes it took a couple of months ( Dealing with my home owner insurance ) But overall the WORK WAS DONE. The insurance company paid up and my new roof was up. I was very HAPPY that's all that matter and I didn't have to deal with my LOSER Home owner insurance company. Thank you Carlos for being very professional with me because I know I am a very hard customer to please..
contract with roofer to repair roof. check cashed. no repair work done.
Oct 25, met with Luis Kinyon from American Hero construction. Filed paperwork. gave initial ins deposit. was advised work to be done in 2-4 weeks. It is over 7 weeks. Salesperson keeps saying waiting for permit from county. county states no permit application received. Deposit cashed weeks ago. No repair done. no response from company regarding delay. Want work done or deposit returned. Check was for $4946.oo. Feel as if we were scammed. We are disabled senior citizens This was damage from Hurricane. Repairs are for new roof, fence and gate repairs.Internal water damage.

We have received your permit on 12/14/17 and you're currently on the build list waiting for material delivery.

we were told on Oct 25th that roof would be replaced as well as other repairs by Thanksgiving. Kept getting runaround 2 houses in my subdivision had signs up up about 3 weeks ago and both houses have new roofs already. Yet our sign was put up about 7 weeks ago and nothing done. again, run around. No definite start date or completion date. stated 12 contracts to be done before ours is honored. when I questioned when those contracts and deposits received, no response. we are very disappointed with how this company is treating us. It has been more than 8 weeks since we signed initial contract and gave them $4946 for work, If company was more honest, we would have gotten a different contractor
but gutters, fenceing, gate and water damage has not andrew has never called me since Secer DEcer 28. he was supposed to called and come done to finisher that work a week later has not neither called not respoundered

My Hero Construction is an outstanding company and I am totally pleased with their work. I was afforded the opportunity to have my roof done by American Hero Construction and I totally ate it all up. lol! PTL! I was given the chance two receive a $500 dollar reduction and Mr. Jose M was great. Mr. M did my roof and even gave me more than ample time to pay my debt with them. I basically didn't and still don't have the money to pay out the debt but Mr. M gave me the necessary time to cover my debt with out putting any constrictions on me. My Hero Construction came to my rescue and I will not falter with them. I recommend you to consider future business endeavors with American Hero Construction. Glory to God! You all have a pleasant holiday and remember the Lord. As for this God fearing Christian, "Heaven love." Amen!
Every two weeks sometimes a week they ring the door bell knock as hard as possible like a cop, leave a flyer and run away
My complaint is every other week a rep from there company bangs on my front door like a cop I've told multiply sales guys I'm a renter and our roof is fine, but Alex D was (***)*** refuses to leave us alone along with the other sales reps no more contact is wanted
Please inform all sales team members not to knock on my front door, and please higher people that understand English Alex D was (*** will not stop pounding on my door like a cop every other Sunday when I've told him our roof if fine and we are renters willing to go to hoa media if harassment doesn't stop

Roof did not pass city inspection company will not come and make the corrections
on 3/21/17 we signed a contract for American Hero to replace our roof on our home. Insurance paid their portion and we paid out $1,000 deductible to them on 7/1/17. on 9/5/17 the city deemed that the roof did not pass inspections and this company now refuses to complete the job to code. They have taken our money taken the insurance money and put a roof on a home that did not pass city inspection.
I want them to come and correct the job, and have a passing inspection done by Orange County.

The in-progress inspection passed it was just a small issue with flashing the held up the final.

As you have stated, "In the project management industry it is totally unacceptable to not be informed on your project, let alone your home." Currently, to date I have yet to hear from Wayne J regarding the below mention damages and/or contract issues:
CONCERNS:
No correspondence was not provided in advance in regards to the delivery of the materials along with the start date of the project. Days after a business trip I noticed materials on my roof. Several days later the roof was completed without my knowledge.
Several attempts to reach my project manage, Wayne J. via mobile, text messages, and email all went unanswered. Is he still employed with your company?
Called the office numerous times, Tiffany (Secretary) advised me that Andrew (GM) would contact me. (No response to date.)
September 28, 2017 and September 29, 2017-Spoke with Carlos, Operations Manager on two occasions, to accommodate his visit I took the day off to date I have yet to see or hear from him.
CONTRACT
To date the following matters have yet to be resolved/occurred including the line items below:
1. Broken window
2. Permanent stain in driveway
3. Soffit and Fascia were taken down during instillation of roof and not put back they were placed in a pile along side my home leaving the attic exposed to the outside elements nets.
4. Per contract nails were supposed to be picked up (four tire repairs thus far)
5. Per contract new pipe jack flashing were supposed to be installed. (NOT DONE)
6. Per contract new hood vents were supposed to be installed. NOT DONE
7. Per contract "R&R Soffit - metal 10.00SF" NOT DONE
8. Home/Roof has not had an in-progress inspection based on the permit.
9. Home/Roof has yet to have the finalization of the permit. (9/21/2017) NOT DONE
10. Left over shingles that I paid for were taken without my consent.

Had a great experience overall with American Hero, Cole H was a great rep and was punctual to all appointments. The supervisor Carlos R was also very kind and understanding. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a new roof and is unsure on how to go about it.
