Our technician, John Gordon, is the BEST He managed to quickly diagnose a problem with our standby generator that had puzzled other technicians off and on for three years John fixed on his first trip and it took him only about minutes He arrived on time, worked quickly, and thoroughly explained the problem and what he did to fix it We call American Mechanical every year to provide maintenance service and always request John as our technician

My gas heat went out in the midst of degree weather so I called American Mechanical based on their reviews and Revdex.com rating A tech named [redacted] called and arrived to diagnose my problems Very polite, friendly, thorough and patient He told me he needed to order a blower motor and would hopefully get it installed the next day or day after but would have to check with his vendor for the parts status [redacted] gives me a price for the repair, very expensive considering I only paid four times that much for the whole gas/air conditioner only four years ago but I need it fixed I wait until almost four the next day and haven't heard a word from AM so I call A gentleman who answers the phone tells me he will get back with me tomorrow about my part - I remind him this is day two and I have no heat so he checks for me [redacted] gets on the phone to tell me my part will be in and installed tomorrow Two o'clock the next day I have heat So almost three days and a bunch of money but a great technician!

John provided a thorough test of our heat pump and took the time to educate us on the workings of a heat pumpEspecially with this cold weather that info was very helpful I would refer American Mechanical and especially John Cto all that need a service to take care of your unit year round
