Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12534390, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

This complaint actually involves stores, but that was not an option I purchased Tires and an alignment from American tire Depot W Colton Ave, Redlands, CA on 01-03-After that there was a clunking noise coming from the right front of the vehicleIn December of I was going to be going on a trip and the noise had progressively gotten worse so I went to the American tire Depot at E Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA They said the bushings in the Upper A-arm were worn out, and it needs a new upper A-arm and struts before they could fix the clunking noise Then they gave me a very overpriced estimate for the replacement of the parts and laborI said I would replace the parts myself and bring it back for an alignmentWhen I replaced the A-Arm I noticed it was not worn out, it was loose at the adjusting boltsWhen I took it back to American tire Depot and showed them the old A-Arm and explained to them that it was loose not worn out, and that American

Good morning [redacted] , concerning case I was looking over complaint and the dates Our warranty for alignment is months 3,miles, whichever comes first I read this that the original alignment was done at the Redlands store in 01/03/2017, and his first complaint was made at the Rancho store approxmonths later according to his complaint His warranty was well over the allowed time to get done for freeAccording to his complaint he came back in May of after he replaced front in parts himself complaining of front end noise, we found upper control arm was loose, which he had have had to loosen to replace the stutsWe tightened the control arm and recommended another alignmentNow the time span is year and six months If my statements are incorrect then please correct me, but his timing to bring in vehicle back in December was months out of warranty Sorry about the vagueness of my statement but I was not here when vehicle was brought in I am open to resolve this with a free alignment but a free tire seems like it was more his fault, than ours [redacted] MANAGER RANCHO CUCAMONGA ####-###-####

I wanted to purchase 4 tires for my wife’s vehicle. I called American tire depot and asked about the buy 3 get the 4th one free and I was told that only the tires in stock and the ones I wanted they had to order, I hanged up and ask my wife to call and she was told that they had them in stock. So I showed up and told the manager about the quote and that I wanted to use the buy 3 get one free and he had to do it. I picked up the vehicle and pay in a rush because I was in my lunch time and didn’t pay attention to the receipt. When checking the bill I was charged $10 per tire for hazard insurance ($40) and $7 per tire for using nitrogen and no air. I asked the manager and he responded by saying that if I use the buy 3 get one free the hazard insurance is charged automatically and the nitrogen is a government requirement and refused to credit me the $68. The funny side of the story is that I work for the government and never heard about the nitrogen. I will continue complaining about it until someone do something about it.

I have a complain about that store , as I made purchase for four tires on 12/12/and the manger offered my a finance for that, actually he gave me a price $ including instillation , alignment and balance and told me it will be financed on months without interest if I pay in full in months through Good year credit card, but few weeks ago I found that store charge me $ and started to charge me interest, when I tried to talk to manger , they told me it was store fault and he will take care for that and he asked don't make dispute and I wait for few weeks but nothing happen ,so I made dispute on this wrong amount but no change happen although I have document for bill of correct amount

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be
satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved

I am rejecting this response because:This is not what the dealership told mePer the dealership the battery was drained during the alignment. ATD refuses to take responsibility for their negligence and after reading many reviews on various sites of unsatisfied customers I can't say I'm surprised. I have informed ATD I will file a small claim against them

After reading your complaint, I have to give you this comparison that actually happened to me but I think it is relevant. Three years ago I had open heart surgery, six months later I had a gull bladder issue and had surgery.. three weeks later I started having chest pains again. My surgeon who did the gull bladder said he did not go near my heart to cause an issue, yet my heart doctor said that he was the last one in doing surgery and must have nicked somethingwhat ended up happening was that the last person doing surgery had the finger pointing at him.. What I am saying, you had front end work done in the same area as the upper control arms, that is a given. Many months had gone by since we even saw you concerning loose upper control arms and we tightened them and realigned your vehicle..if we left something loose it would have showed up immediately, and you would have been back within a few days. to me it looks like whatever work was done in the front end over half a year later, the upper control arm loosening would be his doing no ours..I hope this helps you understand my positionThe time span in between your complaints, and the fact that warranty period had passed my six monthsAnother person had been in the same general area doing work

I went into American tire depot with a bad radiatorthey called me on the phone and told me that they checked the head gasket and it was fine and all I needed was a radiatorWhen I picked up the car it was just pay for it get the car and go they told me nothing about what else the car might needthe car lasted about miles before the head gasket blewWhen I called them to talk to them that was when they told me that they wrote on the paper work that the car had a possible head gasket problemSo from where I'm sitting its like they sold me a $part to my car knowing full well that it wouldn't fix my carThis is very unethical and immoral behavior and I find it surprising that a chain like this needs money that bad

Mariam, I have talked to my employee that worked with *** on his vehicleHe has told me he asked *** when the work order was written if the vehicle had any over heating issues*** told *** no did notWe would Ask that before we replaced the radiatorIn the complaint it states he drove a
hundred miles before vehicle over heatedIf indeed the head gasket was bad at the time *** left the vehicle would not have made it miles before the vehicle over heatedI looked at the temperature on that date and it was degrees outside. *** states he recommended radiator hoses, thermostat and gasket as well but *** declinedNever is it a good idea to not replace thermostat When replacing the radiator, it could have been the culprit from the beginning, by not opening to let water flow properly causing vehicle to overheat or even crack the plastic tank on his radiatorIt is not our responsibility to force customer to buy recommended parts or even not do a job when customer says to do it no matter the outcomeWas *** told of possible head gasket issue, that I can’t say for sure, but I am sure: He should have replaced thermostatThe vehicle had 334,miles on it and anything on the vehicle could have happened to the cooling system once you sealed it with a new radiatorI have copy of original invoice indicating *** declined any and all recommendations on job, just replace radiatorAnything I can do to remedy the complaint that seems reasonable I will listen to. Just an added note, not replacing thermostat when replacing radiator would be like putting new heads on a new motorYou just blow out the bottom end ***

I went that location for battery and charging system check , and they told me the battery of my car need to be changed, and I askd for promotion of free check alignment and free check brake, after half an hour they call me and told me the brake of front wheel need to be changed and fluid brake flush which will cost me 386, and when I ask for some discount he gave me $ off and I he gave me complimentary oil change , but when I make a payment , I found charge of brake service and charge me $ for Alignment , which I never ask for fixation of Alignment , I just ask for check Alignment , and when I asked, cashier he told me he gave me free oil change also when I asked him before instillation the batteries ,what kind of batteries they use and what it's warranty , the cashier pointed to some batteries (SAME BRAND) and told me this brand and come with warranty months, but when I came back home and checked the battery , it's totally different brand, and actually he don't mention
