American Transport

I needed my vehicle transported to California from Mass. I found Jim on the Internet while searching Massachusetts auto transport companies. Jim explain that the cross country moves takes time and planning and he would call the 4 or 5 companies he uses.In a couple of hours he called me back and found someone the dates worked fine with me. I dropped the car off at his terminal in Worcester,Mass. Jim told me the carrier [redacted] was informed not to drop the vehicle off before Dec 5th. The car was dropped Dec 7th Jim was great throughout the whole process and explained everything to me.

I needed my 2009 Hyundai Tucson shipped from Rhode Island to Tampa, Fl for the snowbird season. I called several people mostly brokers and got several quotes from 750 to 1100. I did come across American Transport which was in the ballpark at 925. Jim told me it would be cheaper if I dropped the vehicle at his terminal but decided against that because I had no one to follow me. In talking with Jim he went to the same college as one of my sons and we chatted about that and several other things. We discussed dates and pick up times and everything seem to line up. I liked dealing with a local company and decided to go with American Transport. Everything worked out great and the car arrived at the terminal and I took a 10 minute shuttle ride from the airport to get it. I will be using American Transport in the spring to get my car back

I hired American Transport to Ship my Honda Civic to Mass. I was in Florida and had some medical issue that needed to be address in Mass. In talking with Jim, I told him I was going to [redacted] in Boston flying in and going straight to the hospital, therefore, getting my car would be an issue. Jim explained to me that he had a terminal/office in Worcester, mass and could leave the car there until I could get it. I went about 3 days later and got the car no problem, Jim was out picking up cars and didn't get a chance to talk to him. The pick up was great everything worked out fine. Everything worked out great

I needed my vehicle transported from Venice, Fl to Massachusetts this spring. I found American transport after talking with my old company who no longer does the Florida runs to New England transport. I made contact with Jim and he explained how it works with his company that all the trucks come back to Worcester, Mass to his terminal and he drops them off through New England. The reason is because these trucks are too big to move in/out of the city streets and fuel cost for these trucks are very high. Anyways, my vehicle was picked up April 24th and needed to be back by May 1st. My daughter in law advised that the vehicle was dropped of May 29th by Jim and parked in the driveway. She advised Jim kept in touch with her the whole way and found the house no problem in Springfield, Mass. I would be using American Transport again in the fall

My experience with American Transport was excellent. I needed 2 cars shipped from Mass to Ohio and 1 coming back. As a company we decided to use American Transport . Jim was able to find 2 different companies which was fine. The whole process went smoothly as 1 car arrived late but with traffic that was ok. We would use American Transport again.

I contacted American Transport to transport my vehicle from Lincoln, Rhode Island to Delray Beach, Fl. We agreed on a pick up date and jim called me 24 hrs before and when he was half hour away. I waited for him at the end of my driveway with the car. Jim advised that the vehicle would be going back to his terminal in Worcester,Mass. He told me it should be leaving in 2 or 3 days. I had a friend receive the car if it got there before me. Everything work out great. I will be using American Transport in the spring..

Me and my brother have been using Jim for 2 years. He just transported my vehicle down to Sarasota, FL. I work at the resort Longboat Key Club in the winter as a golf pro. I spend my summers in Boston. The car was dropped off at the terminal and within 2 days it was shipped. The driver was very nice and actually met me at work to drop it off. There was a big lot so everything worked out great. Jim has been outstanding the last couple of years and I gave his name to a few friends.

I talked to Jim and he was about 100 dollars higher then some companies and he explain why and how it all works and to be careful about some brokers as they will take your deposit and never find you a truck or will charge you a fee to cancel. Jim answered the phone and we talked for awhile. I was looking to go to the Tampa area. Jim explain he had a terminal 10 minutes from the airport and a shuttle van will pick you up and give you a ride for 10 dollars. He mention he needed the car 10 days or so before to ship it. I agreed to do this because I had another car up here in Mass. I drove the car to his terminal as it was cheaper then him picking it up. Everything worked out great and we will be using his service in the spring.

I recently bought a new Honda at a dealership in Boston. I needed the car transported to Tennessee over the holiday weekend of July 4th. After searching for local companies in mass I came upon Jim at American Transport. Jim explained it was the holiday weekend and the car would probably move the week after. The car left on that Tuesday and arrived over the weekend. The price was more then other companies but I picked American Transport because it had good reviews and Jim could pick the vehicle up if need be. Everything worked out great

American Transport was great transporting my vehicle to florida. I was on the cape and Jim mention that he meets a lot of his customers in Taunton, Mass at home depot parking lot for pick up. Jim explain going to the cape for one car wasn't worth it. The driver Victor kept in touch with us and call a couple of hours before he dropped it off. I would use them again and Jim was always around to answer my questions as he was very straight forward.

Having never had the need to tranpsort a car, I was a bit overwhelmed with trying to figure it all out. Jim's website was full of valuable information and made my decision making so much easier. Jim always answered his phone himself and he responded quickly to my emails and texts as well. Although my car was dirty from the ride, it arrived in fabulous condition. The truck driver was very accomodating and kept me informed of his arrival time. I would not hesitate using American Transport again, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing transport assistance.

Everything worked out great the car left the terminal about 3 days later and we got it in Naples, fl about 4 days later as my wife received the vehicle.
