We are beyond trying to figure out how or why and at the point of resolution. We will grant the return with no restocking fee or return label fee. We truly apologize for the inconvenience and want to make this right for our customer. reimburse the customer the $160 shipping they paid as a one time customer courtesy. However, when the warehouse inspected the exhaust they determined the part was not defective. After testing the returned exhaust, we determined the part was in good working condition so we failed the warranty return and informed the customer the part was not defective. After reviewing the notes, photos, and customer calls I have decided I will reimburse the customer in the amount of $849.85 for the exhaust he returned as a one time customer courtesy, however we will not reimburse the shipping. We are unable to sell this part for $69.99, the part the customer needs for their 2000 Nissan Xterra is retailed for $416.95, we would be willing to sell this to the customer at 20% off which will bring it down to $333.56. free shipping and no tax. I have also gone into the customer's replacement order and provided another full refund back to the customer's account and sent the customer an email to inform them as well. This exhaust kit installed on my car sounded nothing like the car in this video, which is also a 2012 Mustang V6 (same car as mine). If it did, I would have had no complaint, would have kept them installed on the car, and would not be seeking a refund. AutoAnything's website (see product link above) makes no mention of this unbearable in-cab drone, nor does it state which products are non-returnable. In fact, it states in the "Return Information" tab that "the vast majority of products available at AutoAnything are returnable, provided they are returned with all original packaging, paperwork and parts in new and unused condition." This exhaust kit has been kept in a new and unused condition, and I have all of the original paperwork. However, I threw out the original packaging.
The website also does not even provide specific product details under the "Info" tab for the axle back exhaust kit, which is the product I ordered. The only description provided is for the cat back exhaust kit, which is different than the product I ordered. For all of these reasons above, I feel I was misled into buying a product that was misrepresented by the retailer (AutoAnything) and by the manufacturer ([redacted] Exhaust).

Revdex.com, I have researched this order and it appears the customer went online and ordered the seat covers online without our assistance. We did not place the order on the customer's behalf. When you go on our website and select the seat covers there are several options to choose from due to the options that Ford released for this year's F250. If you go to the site and try to recreate this order we do ask about the seatbelt. The customer selected the seat cover without the seatbelt integration which is why we sent the covers we did. We understand that selecting seat covers can be confusing, which is why we have Sales agents to call 7 days a week to assist customers with selecting the correct options. If the customer would have called us within the 60 day timeframe for our return policy we could have issued a replacement or a refund but because it has been 3.5 months we cannot replace or refund the order at this time. Axle back exhaust kit from AutoAnything for my 2012 Mustang V6 Premium and installed it a month ago, hoping to boost HP and improve its performance/sound. However, after driving with this exhaust kit installed for only five days, I reluctantly removed them and re-install the original stock mufflers/exhaust system due to the extremely loud and absolutely unbearable drone heard during typical driving around town and on the highway, which was not evident in their [redacted] video. The manufacturer ([redacted]) made no mention of this drone in hteir advertising, which is very annoying and unbearable. The car was un-driveable with this exhaust kit installed! We couldn't even talk or hear the premium stereo sound system while driving in the car. This exhaust system sounds nothing like I expected, according to the [redacted] link on [redacted]'s website that I previewed prior to ordering from AutoAnything. I found that the ONLY time the exhaust system sounded good was under hard acceleration, but this is hard on gas mileage and is not my routine driving style. This is false advertising...I bought this axle-back exhaust system to add some "muscle" to the tame stock exhaust note under normal driving conditions, not to be drowned out of the car by the obnoxiously loud drone heard under all normal driving conditions. I called AutoAnything to inquire about returning this exhaust system for a refund, but unfortunately, I was told their policy does not accept returns on exhaust systems once they are installed, but how would I know if the exhaust system performs as advertised or is defective unless I install it first and drive the car? The Customer Support at AutoAnything suggested I write or call Customer Support at the manufacturer ([redacted]) to see if there was anything they could do, but again I was told that they do not accept refunds unless the parts are defective. At AutoAnything's suggestion, I have tried to sell this exhaust kit on [redacted]'s list for $100 less than retail, but have not had a single call. The sales rep at AutoAnything has offered me a "discretionary refund" of $30, but that was three weeks ago and I have still not received it. The sales rep has not responded to repeated inquiries regarding this refund and their return policy. I will file a complaint against the manufacturer if the Revdex.com still determines that AutoAnything is not at fault. Return of undamaged product to AutoAnything, with free return postage, for a full refund (check or credit card credit acceptable).
