There are things said in AutoAnything's responce that are just not true: 1. they have not authorized a return where they pay the return shipping. Yesterday they authorized a return where I would be reimbursed $192.15 not the $242.11 that I paid for the product because I had to pay for return shipping. 2. They have not acknowledged that of course the tonneau cover was installed because they requested pictures of it installed showing that it did not fit.  They need to acknowledge that it has been installed  per their request (I have the emails)  before I return  the product ootherwise I don't think to honor this Agreement.  I also have to point out that this complaint was sent by the Revdex.com on January 16th 2016.  I had not received any response so on the morning of January  20th 2016 I disputed the charge on my credit card and that even they respond.  By the way outside of my credit card dispute and the Revdex.com I have communicated with them 18 different times about this product and as of last night they still want me to take more pictures of the cover on my truck.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  I  am accepting this response because I have received my refund.  Except the refund was initially given to me by a [redacted] complaint and [redacted] issued the refund.  It was never explained how I was given not one but two used items.  I have sent back both items because I was not trying to scam anything and so this business can see the type of product they sent out.

take it back no questions asked as long as the product has not been installed and is within our 30 day return policy. Unfortunately the customer did not contact us until 6/30/2015, which is 7 months after the customer received the part. We are unable to return a part that has been 7 months old.

I should not be out $165.05 for return shipping, because I had to ship back a part that was flawed in regards to the design, not the manufacturing of the part.  I spoke to the gentleman whos car was the one Magnaflow used to develop this exhaust system for the Audi Allroad (he goes by the name [redacted]), and he told me directly, and I have this in a typed message, that even when Magnaflow designed the exhaust for the Allroad and gave one to [redacted], EVEN HE HAD TO USE SPACERS BECAUSE THE EXHAUST DID NOT FIT PERFECT AND WAS TOUCHING OTHER PARTS OF HIS CAR!  This is the exact same problem I had. I will be happy to provide you with this documentation if requested.

If my complaint was a scratch or a not so perfect paint job on the Top then yes I would except the offer of $300 to repair it here locally but this isn't the case , the Top is broken at the worst possible place it could be. This top has two critical attachment points, these points are designed to have a gas strut attached to hold it in the up position and it takes both to accomplish this task one isn't enough to do that so its just a top laying on the bed of a truck. I placed a call to the manufacturer of this Top and spoke with [redacted]) his question was did I still have the box in which I don't but that showed me he was willing to take it back or at least have that conversation. This company just wants me to go away well I will go away when they do the right thing by replacing it or refunding at least half of what I paid to get another one from a local distribution company that will stand behind the products they sell...One last thing I'm sure the top was insured by ** because who ships a $1337 Top through at least 3 trucking terminals without insuring it? Come on ** do the right thing by your customers....
