We have connected Mr*** with his account manager, *** *** At this point, we believe this complaint to be resolved If this is not the case, please let me know how we can further help

March 22, Indianapolis Revdex.com EWashington Street Indianapolis, IN Attn*** *** Re: Complaint Case # *** ***, Thank you for bringing this updated complaint to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to respond again to this complaint I first wanted to apologize for misspelling Ms***’s name in our previous correspondence Though we maintain that Angie’s List was not at fault for the misunderstanding that we have already addressed, and though we did not see any updated information in Ms***’s updated complaint, Angie’s List will agree to waive one month of her advertising payments that are past due. This reduces the balance that is outstanding in order for Ms*** to remain within category search on Angie’s List. This amount is due very soon to avoid being sent to a third-party collections process, so we would encourage Ms*** to communicate with her client success manager to work out a suitable payment schedule promptly We strive to provide top notch customer service to members and service providers alike and regret that the consumer was disappointed with her experience with Angie’s ListWe delivered to the extent of our contractAngie’s List and Ms***’s company have a binding agreement, and just as we have acted in accordance with our obligations, so must Ms*** Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information. Kind regards, Jesse B*** Angie’s List

August 1, Indianapolis Revdex.com EWashington Street Indianapolis, IN Attn*** *** Re: Complaint Case # *** ***, Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to respond to complaints against
our company On 5/16/2017, Mr*** agreed to advertise with Angie’s List for one year. We require each prospective advertiser to electronically sign a contract outlining the services Angie’s List will render, the relevant categories and the ad rate a service provider must pay for these servicesOur advertising can never guarantee lead generation or a certain number of phone calls per week; instead it guarantees placement on the website Each contract includes a standard cancellation fee of 35% of the remaining balance of the agreementAngie’s List has reviewed the sales process Mr*** experienced and has elected to waive the early termination fee and issue a refund of $225.15. This exception has been issued in light of any confusion or frustration Mr*** may have experienced I sincerely apologize that this customer is disappointed with their experience with Angie’s ListWe strive to provide top-notch customer service to all of our former, existing, and potential customers Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information. Kind regards, Jesse M*** Angie’s List

May 13, 2015 Indianapolis Revdex.comEWashington StreetIndianapolis, IN 46202Attn*** ***Re: Complaint Case # *** *** Thank you again for bringing this updated complaint to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to give our side of the story regarding complaints filed against our company. Per our membership agreement, members have the right to a 110% money back guarantee on their current membership term if they are not satisfied with their annual membership. Mr*** is in his final term (year) of his membership. We have refunded 110% of this term back to him (prorated refund of $11.60, plus an extra 10% via check). MrFroehlich was mailed a check in the amount of $11.60. He was also mailed a separate check in the amount of $for the additional 10% (which was a little bit more than 10%). These checks must be cut separately but both were mailed at the same time. As a courtesy, a final check in the amount of $will be mailed on Monday, May 18th Again, we sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused Thanks again for the opportunity to respond Please let me know if we can provide any further information. *** ***Angie’s List

April 18, Indianapolis Revdex.com EWashington Street Indianapolis, IN Attn*** *** Re: Complaint Case # *** ***, Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to give our side of the
story regarding complaints filed against our company. I’d like to start by offering a sincere apology to Mr*** for any miscommunication or misunderstanding in pursuit of his Big Deal refundAccording to our records, Mr*** contacted us on 4/17/to ask for a refund of a duplicate purchase, which was made on 4/15/Mr***’s refund was processed by Angie’s List during the phone call Mr*** made to Angie’s List to request his refund on 4/17/2017. Mr*** was advised that the refund is immediate on our end, but can take his financial institution 3-days to process the funds back to his account Mr*** has requested to have the $overdraft fee paid for by Angie’s List. In situations where a charge made by Angie’s List results in an overdraft, Angie’s List is happy to assist members and cover any fees caused by Angie’s List. After review of Mr***’s purchase, the $purchase occurred on one transaction and was not a system error resulting in a duplicate transaction. Mr*** purchased a quantity of two ‘$Ceiling Fan Installation’ deals that totaled $178. Mr*** agreed to pay the $during checkout. Since Mr***’s purchase was made in one transaction of $178, Angie’s List will not accept responsibility for the overdraft that occurred as a result of his purchase. I would encourage Mr*** to contact his financial institution to request them to waive the fee due to the accidental purchase of a quantity of of the $offers I find it regrettable that we left Mr*** feeling he had no recourse but to contact the Revdex.comWe strive to provide top-notch service to our members Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information. regarding complaints filed against our company. I’d like to start by offering a sincere apology to Mr*** for any confusion regarding his membership All of our memberships do default to an automatic renewalOur auto renewal program was implemented as a result of member feedback indicating it would be convenient to renew without being required to call or mail in a request to do soWe acknowledge that with every improvement, we run the risk of offending a small portion of our membersSome people, caught off guard when their renewal goes through, clearly do not benefit from this intended convenienceBecause of this, Angie’s List strives to make sure that each member has the opportunity to learn about the program prior to paying for a membershipWe also email members prior to the renewal date to notify them of the upcoming charge As requested, Mr***’s account has been set so it will not automatically renew. Mr***’s account with expire on 3/7/2017. I have also unsubscribed Mr*** from all email correspondence Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information. Kind regards, Jesse M*** Angie’s List

Thank you for helping me to resolve this issue. I had tried calling the number provided by the Angie's List representative multiple times per day, and I was always told that what I was asking them to do was physically impossible. Your assistance allowed the problem to be remedied immediately

Attached are screenshots of the jobs that I have missedThe reason I missed the jobs is because, without my knowledge and authorization, angies list debited my accountI have never gave them any authorization to take the early termination fee out of my account nor did I say I wanted to cancelIf in fact I said I wanted to cancel in a month, then why was my account debited a week after I talked to theThis whole time dealing with them makes no sense to me.

*** ***Once again I'll say - you can't fight with a big company like this - They say the notes show one thing and when you prove your case - they say the person that wrote the note was wrong - so other words It's what ever the person your talking to - I have all my bank statements of payments - But they say they show a missed paymentTO ANYONE reading this - keep In mind that the notes they keep don't mean a thing If It doesn't sync with what they say - and any proof that you have for payment also means nothingThis all happened because I made a deal with my account rep to cancel my contract after six months - and once the person left angies list the company wont honor the agreement - like I said, ya can fight city hall

Angie's List has been in contact with this customer. We were able to have productive communications to locate the charge the customer received. We have refunded the customer and cancelled their membership as requested. We hope this customer will consider us in the future if the
need arises
