I’d like to start by offering a sincere apology to Mr*** for any confusion or frustration regarding his membership Mr*** was contacted by a supervisor, Iann M***, within the Angie’s List Member Care department on 7/24/2017. The different types of memberships, some of which are paid, were explained to Mr***. Mr*** elected to have his paid membership refunded and his account cancelled. company As Mr*** states, he signed an advertising contract to live on 4/11/for a full year. We require each prospective advertiser to sign a contract outlining the services Angie’s List will render, the relevant categories and the ad rate a service provider must pay for these servicesEach contract includes a standard cancellation fee of 35% of the remaining balance of the agreement. We have looked into Mr***’s concerns and did not find any wrongdoing throughout the sales process, because of this we won’t be refunding his paymentHowever, we are agreeing to cancel his advertisements and are waiving the standard early termination fee due to the customer service issues he mentionedWe apologize for any frustration caused to Mr***. We have also issued a partial refund for the remaining time of the first full month Mr*** had already paid for in the amount of $that remained after the cancellation of his contract We strive to provide top notch customer service, and we regret that Mr*** felt that he had no recourse but to turn to the Revdex.com Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information. Angie's List has been in contact with this customer. We were able to have productive communications to locate the charge the customer received. We have refunded the customer and cancelled their membership as requested. We hope this customer will consider us in the future if the
need arises

They are leaving the "F" on our account and they didn't get a response back from the memberThis is not rightWE don't know her, we have never done any work for her nor was she in any of our records of calling our businessAL wrote see below " The member did not respond if the review was for the correct company or not" This is not acceptable business practiceThis is not resolved. "We did reach out to the member in question. The member did not respond to indicate if the review was for the correct company or not. Our policy, as a passive conduit, is to leave the review on the company the member initially stated they had an interaction."

Attached are screenshots of the jobs that I have missedThe reason I missed the jobs is because, without my knowledge and authorization, angies list debited my accountI have never gave them any authorization to take the early termination fee out of my account nor did I say I wanted to cancelIf in fact I said I wanted to cancel in a month, then why was my account debited a week after I talked to theThis whole time dealing with them makes no sense to me.

story regarding complaints filed against our company. I’d like to start by offering a sincere apology to Mr*** for any miscommunication or misunderstanding in pursuit of his Big Deal refundAccording to our records, Mr*** contacted us on 4/17/to ask for a refund of a duplicate purchase, which was made on 4/15/Mr***’s refund was processed by Angie’s List during the phone call Mr*** made to Angie’s List to request his refund on 4/17/2017. Mr*** was advised that the refund is immediate on our end, but can take his financial institution 3-days to process the funds back to his account Mr*** has requested to have the $overdraft fee paid for by Angie’s List. In situations where a charge made by Angie’s List results in an overdraft, Angie’s List is happy to assist members and cover any fees caused by Angie’s List. After review of Mr***’s purchase, the $purchase occurred on one transaction and was not a system error resulting in a duplicate transaction. Mr*** purchased a quantity of two ‘$Ceiling Fan Installation’ deals that totaled $178. Mr*** agreed to pay the $during checkout. Since Mr***’s purchase was made in one transaction of $178, Angie’s List will not accept responsibility for the overdraft that occurred as a result of his purchase. I would encourage Mr*** to contact his financial institution to request them to waive the fee due to the accidental purchase of a quantity of of the $offers I find it regrettable that we left Mr*** feeling he had no recourse but to contact the Revdex.comWe strive to provide top-notch service to our members Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information. I’d like to start by offering a sincere apology to Mrs*** for the frustration this process has caused Stephanie C*** has been working directly with Mrand Mrs*** to try to help them find some resolution in this matter. Though Angie’s List cannot control the behavior of providers on the List, Angie’s List offers the Complaint Resolution Process as an option to use the member’s review as leverage in assisting to resolve issues with a company. The Complaint Resolution Process is a process that a member can willingly enter into for additional assistance when they encounter an issue with a company. If the member does not wish to remove or edit their review in exchange for the resolution of their complaint, they do not have to utilize the Complaint Resolution Process. Since the member willingly enters into the Complaint Resolution Process, Angie’s List remains as a neutral third party and only enforces the requirements of the Complaint Resolution Process, which the member agrees to prior to starting the process. Since the member agrees to remove or edit their review once a company resolves their complaint through the Complaint Resolution Process, Angie’s List stands by the statement that Angie’s List does not alter or remove reviews. Angie’s List does not typically offer membership refunds, post June 8, 2016, when our policy changed relating to membership refunds. I have made an exception in this situation and issued a refund for Mrand Mrs***’s membership in full, totaling $99.99. At this time, they have been withdrawn from the Complaint Resolution Process, as this is benefit reserved for Gold level members. We require each prospective advertiser to electronically sign a contract outlining the services Angie’s List will render, the relevant categories and the ad rate a service provider must pay for these servicesOur advertising can never guarantee lead generation or a certain number of phone calls per week; instead it guarantees placement on the website. Each contract includes a standard cancellation fee of 35% of the remaining balance of the agreementMr*** was notified of early termination fee during the sales process that resulted in Mr*** electronically signing his contract. We apologize that we were not able to satisfy Mr*** during the course of his advertising relationship We did look back through the sales process, and found that there may have been some confusing commentary that Mr*** did not understand regarding the way geocat searches through Google work in relation to Angie’s List., therefore Angie’s List is waiving the early termination fee and issuing a full refund to Mr***. Ms*** purchased an offer from the company *** *** *** on 4/22/ There is a day refund policy that is included in the details of the deal purchased We are so sorry for all the scheduling trouble Ms*** had with this company As a courtesy, we have refunded Ms*** for the offer purchased in the amount of $ This was actually accomplished before we received this complaint I apologize for the poor customer service Ms*** experienced when calling us for assistance Though we strive to answer calls in the order received, the extremely long time Ms*** experienced on the phone represents a failing on Angie’s List’s part We never want our members to have such a difficult time contacting us or receiving assistance from us In light of these problems, I have refunded Ms*** in full for her most recent membership renewal She will retain access to the list through January of 2016, unless she chooses to renew her membership.I find it regrettable that we left Ms*** feeling she had no recourse but to contact the Revdex.comWe strive to provide top-notch service to our members In this matter it’s clear that we have dropped the ball I hope Ms*** allows us a chance to earn back her trust, and we thank her for her membership. In light of any frustration or poor customer service, Angie’s List will consider Mr*** contract to be terminated effective the first time Mr*** expressed a desire to cancel his advertisements, which Angie’s List has documented as 5/1/2016.
