The [redacted] Signed a service agreement to service vents, Animal Control Solutions completed the service on 2/12/2018, Mr [redacted] asked that we install Louver Vents ( special order vents) instead on the fiberglass guards that were installedWe agreed to order the upgraded vents and install at no additional charge to the customerThe vents were ordered and scheduled to be installed 3/19/2018, Mr [redacted] contacted Animal Control Solutions and stated he did not want us on his propertyIn our attempts to collect the balance due on the account Mr [redacted] stated he was not paying the bill because he was selling the house the following weekAnimal Control Solutions proceeded with filing a Mechanics Lein on the homeManagement notified his realtor this process was taking placeMr [redacted] then contacted ACS to settle his account ACS performed the work that was contracted by Mr [redacted] we will not be refunding any charges

I’m not sure if the owner is un ethical the management is unethical or both but yet another fabrication from this company I would rather not defend myself hereI have plenty of documentation to refute what they are saying I will gladly take them to court Bottom line, not only did they misrepresent what was supposed to be done when they described what my “problem” was, The job they did was not done according to the work order

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Hello Revdex.comThe company that I issued my complaint against, Animal Control Solution (ACS), has denied all responsibility with regard to the damaged caused in my home.? They provide the following reasons which I reject:1) ACS says that I inspected that the work had been completed and that said I was satisfied.? The individual who completed the work, took me pictures and showed my pictures.? I did visually look into the attic as well and I was satisfied that the work they were hired to do (replace the old insulation with new insulation) had been completed and I was satisfied with that fact.? I had NO WAY to know about the damage they had caused to the A/C unit- they were not working on that so I had no reason to inspect it.? Furthermore, the condensation pipe they had broken off was buried under the new insulation they installed so it was not possible to see upon inspection without removing the new insulation they had installed2) ACS says that it has been six month since they completed the work.It has been months, but I have not needed the A/C between the end of October (when they completed the work) so I would have no way of knowing that the pipe was broken till I turned on the A/C a few weeks agoIt took a few weeks after that for the water damage caused by the broken pipe to be discovered.? I would have no way to know before the months that they had caused the damage because it was late Fall and winter during that time.Only after filing my complaint did I hear from the owner of ACS (Mike).? He was volatile, aggressive, and refused to accept any responsibility.? He also said this 'happens all the time' but I had no proof that they did it- implying that this isn't the first time it has happenedHe told me I was a liar when I said that I hadn't used my A/C at the end of October claiming that everyone uses their air conditioning that time of year and I must have done the damage myself 'moving Christmas ornaments' or something.? As their own pictures show, there is nothing stored in that section of the attic.? I asked him to offer some compromise of any kind and he refused.? He berated me for filing my complaint.? He told me that I was rude and insensitive to the medical issues that had kept him away from work for the last two weeks.? I stand by my claim that they should have to pay for the repairs to the A/C, ceiling repair, insulation replacement, and any mold remediation (if needed).Thank you very much for you initial prompt response and support Regards, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] entered into a service agreement with Animal Control Solutions on 9/23/to remove & replace Linear Feet of Fascia boards to the residence located at [redacted] ***On 10/23/the service agreement was fulfilled by Animal Control SolutionsThe customer is claiming the roof is now leaking, our repairs were not to the roofTherefore Animal Control Solutions is not responsible for any actions to be taken in regards to the roof, Mr [redacted] contracted Animal Control Solutions to address the fascia boards on the home? We have completed the agreed upon items in the attached service agreement and have found that the completed repairs to the fascia boards were indeed installed correctly.? please review attached documents.?

Mr [redacted] was contacted by email at 11:am and notified we have processed a refund of $ [redacted] to his original payment method after an investigation into his services was concludedWe have been in contact with this customer to resolve this issue

complaint was assigned ID [redacted] The company and I have reached an agreement for the balance due. Thanks, and I will never do business in this fashion again Nor will I do business with this company again

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business is definitely not telling the whole truthThey told us to our faces that our service would include days of a weekly service (changing and checking bait boxes weekly) and then would proceed to once a monthAll the neighbors were informed of this and, in fact, they DID put that language in my other neighbor's estimateI have attached her paperwork (which is the same as mine otherwise)Also, here is the screencast in the event that attachment doesn't open: [redacted] We all cancelled our service as all of us were equally disappointed with their serviceThe company even tried to collect additional payments from two of our neighbors for services they did not receive Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I was indeed contacted by Animal Control Solutions regarding complaint ID [redacted] However, my issue has not been resolved, it is actually worse nowThe business scheduled an appointment immediately after I filed my complaintA technician came out to inspect if there are any entry points that the squirrel is using to gain access to the interior areas of the houseHowever, the technician did not bring the correct ladder (even though they have been to the house many times), so he was only able to inspect part of the roofHe confirmed there are no entry points where he lookedI received another appointment for someone to come back later that week to either trap the squirrel, or complete repairI sent an email to my contact at Animal Control Solutions to let them know that I saw a squirrel around the one-way door they previously installed, but it didn't appear to get inI explained that I'm not sure if it's a different squirrel, but if the next technician can confirm that there are no entry points around the one-way door, I'd be happy with them taking down this door and repairing the areaWhich is what the technician didI did not receive a report or a call, but assumed all is wellClearly, the squirrel was getting in around or through the one-way door because now that it was taken down and the area reinforced, it is angry and chewing the wood around the outside of our loft area- photos attachedInstead of noting the issue and setting a trap, the technician sealed everything up, and now the animal returns daily to chew and try to enter againThis was never an issue before, so it's clearly connected to the one way doorI am certain the technician saw signs that the squirrel was determined and found a way in through the one-way door (since the technician confirmed there were no other entry points, and the animal is clearly angry that it's one access point is gone)This company's negligence has led to this point, and I am looking into arbitration, unless they trap the squirrel and repair the damage it has done Regards, [redacted]

I have spoken to Mrs***, we as a company are going to continue to service Mrs [redacted] and remedy the situationA Manager/Owner is scheduled to visit the home on 8/25/Mrs [redacted] has a one year warranty thay ACS will guarantee repairs that were completed in April

Responding the
company's rebuttal of complaint:We called last week and were told we would be called back and never received a responseThe work we are disputing is the roofline work on linear feetThere are not linear feet of roofline that is possible to sealThey are including in that feet the right and left sides of the roof which cannot be sealed since they are attached to the houses on either sideWe were forced to call another company to come and do completely different work because they work ACS did had nothing to do with the problem and they never called us back.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
I was initially told by Don H*** that they would assess the issue with my roof, and it maybe more expensive than the price that was quoted on the invoice if they started doing the work and had to go further back on the fascia boardMrH*** and myself agreed that was ok and that no additional work would be done without consulting meNone of that happenedAnimal Control did a patch job, instead of letting me know about the more severe issueIn fact, I receive a voice message from Don H*** stating that the field rep had been terminated because of negligenceAlso, the hole that is on the front portion of the roof, is still thereWhich is why I initially called Animal Control, because a squirrel was coming through that holeIt was to my understanding that the hole would be removed during repairWhich is why I agreed to use their services in the first placeNow, after months later, numerous calls from me, and a half hearted attempt from Animal Control, my roofing has gotten worseAgain, numerous calls were made to address this matter and even when workers came out twice, once around the beginning of the year and once in June, they leftNo call was made to give me a call that their work had been doneThere is still a hole that needs to be replaced.

Mr*** was contacted by email at 11:am and notified we have processed a refund of $*** to his original payment method after an investigation into his services was concludedWe have been in contact with this customer to resolve this issue

ACS was notified of this issue by the customer moments after receiving the notification from the Revdex.com, ACS has since been out to the home on 2/9/to determine the issue and resolve the problemThe customer is under warranty with ACS for repairs and ACS will continue to solve the customers issues
with the contracted laborIt was determined there is ice under the shingles and removing frozen shingles could cause more damage, we are schedule to return back to the customers home in more ideal weather to further address the issue, however a temporary seal was put in place until that time.

Mr*** called our office on 8/18/at approx9:Am and expressed that he thought the traps were used traps, the snake traps that were set at his home on 7/11/were new trapsOn 8/10/when the technician completed the monthly service he removed the traps from the exterior of the
home and changed the glue strips inside the trapIt is possible the trap may have been weathered on the exterior since the traps are placed outside the home however the inside of the trap is protected from the elements by design and the strips are changed as needed. The technician spoke in depth with the customer on 8/10/regarding his ant issue inside the home and the customer indicated it was betterThe chemical applied to treat the ants is a concentrate, what this means is the product must be mixed with water to a specified ratio to be safely appliedAll chemicals used by Animal Control Solutions are used as directed by the label, which includes the instruction for application and the proper ratio for mixing. When Mr*** called with his concerns the office staff offered to have a pest control tech come back on 8/21/to complete the service again at no additional charge, Mr*** asked for an appointment this Friday 8/25/between 8-10am, we currently have him scheduled for service tomorrow between 8-am. I feel that ACS has followed the right steps to resolve this customers concerns and this complaint should have only been submitted if we were unable to resolve his concerns with the service
