We bought a Nissan Rogue brand new and two days ago I was driving home and went to turn into oncoming traffic to make a right and vehicle lost all power nearly causing an accidentI contacted Nissan Canada who advised me to take it to a dealership to have it checked and they would work with me and the dealership (knowing it was km out of warranty)I then went home and researched possible transmission things only to find a lot of Nissan vehicles with CVT transmissions are failing and they are only
Correcting it on certain vehicles and mine is not oneTook it to the dealership today paid $for them to run it and see what codes come up and sure enough CTV transmission is the problem and now dealership and Nissan Canada don't want to do anything at all pretty much told me it's out of warranty even though they just doubled the warranty for
This problem on other vehicles as it's that unsafeTo fix transmission we are looking at $plus tax and it isn't a guarantee it won't happen again in a few years

I bought a brand new Nissan Rogue (2012) in July of in Richmond Hill, Canada at a dealership called *** Nissan Richmond HillI serviced my Nissan exclusively at the dealership so that Nissan and myself would have a documented list of all service completed on the vehicleThis way the service department team could see what kind of service my vehicle neededIn June, 2018, after my warranty had expired, the car begin shifting gears, the engine began revving and the vehicle began jerkingI brought my car into service, they recommended a diagnostic be run, which cost me $130, and yielded a reply that my transmission had to be replaced as this model's CVT engines and transmissions were known to require replacement between 140,to 200,kmThe service department had a quote prepared, for the transmission estimate, at a paltry rate of $I nearly fell off my rockerI spent hours on the phone with NISSAN Canada about this issueThey were rude, refusing to work with a long standing customer any possible solutionI took my car into a local transmission specialist, had the transmission fluid flushed, for about $dollars, and my ROGUE now purrs like a kittenNot once, in all six years of owning this vehicle, did *** NISSAN service recommend my transmission fluid be servicedI do feel cheated by *** NISSAN management, sales and serviceSales because they sold me a vehicle, knowing about the unreliable engine in ROGUE modelsService department, because they did not check their service history on my vehicle to recommend the appropriate service for my vehicle's issuesManagement because they allow this negative culture to permeate the dealership and ultimately, the customers they serveYou have lost a LIFELONG NISSAN CUSTOMER because of your sole focus on profit and troublesome customer service*** *** ***

Bought a used car in 2018, Break wasn't working, I went to ask for fix but one of agent refuse to fix my car's BREAK because VIN is not on their systemI had to drove THE car break is not working right Called U.S Nissan, they could fin a VIN easily, apologized that how they treated me at the North Vancouver location It's kind a sad that there are tons of great employees works Nissan, but one agent ruins everything

Notice bubbling on the dashboard of my Infiniti FXcontacted dealership in area and was told to bring vehicle in to get pictures taken at start of October and they would be submitted to Infiniti Canada as this should not be happeningLater was informed that there had been an extension to the warranty but this had expired in January of and thus they would do nothing now I had taken the vehicle into a dealership previously for recall work and it was well within the extended warranty period and was never advised of this problem and in fact I don't understand why the dashboard was not replaced at that time if they knew the dashboard was defectiveI will now be out of pocket $to correct a problem that is the fault of Nissan

I was looking to buy a vehicle backed into July 2018, and the Infiniti Q70L AWD caught my eyes with the featuresIt show on the Specification that the Q70L model equips a "Single In Dash CD/DVD Player", which on their website the Qmodel equips only a "Single In Dash CD Player"

After purchasing the vehicle, I purchased some Dand DTS-DVD-AUDIO discs since on the owners Manuel, it says that if the vehicle equips with CD/DVD player it will support all the formatsIt turns out that non of my disc worksAlso borrowed a bunch of DVD from library and non of them work as wellSays reading error

I purchased a Nissan Rogue in December The car now has 59,km on it and is still under warrantyI have a long history of service issues at *** *** Nissan, which I recently filed a complaint about with Nissan Canada (case #XXXXXXXX)At present, I have, what I think, is a transmission issue with my vehicleIn the past two weeks I have had to bring it into *** *** Nissan timesThis dealership is so incredibly disorganized that each visit lasts a minimum of mins and as much as an hour, often that time is spent waiting to hear from employees who seem to have forgotten a customer is presentIn the three aforementioned visits, my wife and I have wasted over hours of our timeThe bigger issue is that the initial complaint and problem with the vehicle has yet to be resolvedThe dealership keeps replacing parts, then claiming it is fixed, only for us to take the vehicle home and the problem to reoccur on the next dayIt is my belief that the dealership is avoidin

We have been a loyal nissan customer for 16yrs, and three brand new vehicles Plus we have converted several family and friends to Nissan We were sold on a interior package for our last vehicle, Pathfinder, which included a tinted window package We were not told that we were paying for something that was illegal and would have to be removed in British Columbia When we called Nissan Canada to cover the cost of the removal we had a very *** supervisor, Yonette, who said it was our fault the we chose the package Really? *** ***

We own a Nissan Versa sedan which we bought Oct and is now paid for, of course warranty is up.It has 92K and all maintance has always been done on itNov the RPM's kept going up, then back down again, it didn't matter what speed the car was being drivenNov called and made an appointment with the closest Nissan and the earliest they could look at was DecOnce there they had entered Dec in their schedule, but checked the call and it was for Dec, so now had to FIT the car inWas told after waiting several hours that the transmission was going and it would be $to replace.Called Nissan Customer Service Dec to get a case #After playing phone tag all day Dec was told the price we were quoted was on us, Nissan would not cover a new transmission as ours was not one of the ones they extendedSome of the 2012's are now covered for years and 200KWe have bought and paid for Nissans over the years and currently have more besides the Versa The p

I have Nissan Pathfinder SL The warranty is still on (till October 16, 2018)
Some time ago I noticed very fine cracks on the glasses of the headlightsThese micro cracks are deteriorating and now are very visible, especially on the glass from the passenger sideOn September 27, I addressed with this issue to the dealership in Cambridge, ON (*** *** Nissan)They took the pictures of the headlights and send them to Nissan Canada to approve the replacementHowever Nissan Canada didn't agree to replace glasses and put ridiculous reason for that as if the owner damaged headlight glasses by applying chemicals when cleaningThis "expertise" doesn't stand any criticism:
1) The nature of cracks really shows the glass stress release issueObviously defective stressed glass developed these micro cracks under weather condition (cycling cold and hot temperatures)With time these cracks are getting worse and bigger spreading furtherEven with not armed eye anyone can see tha

I purchased my Nissan Sentra in September with 45,kilometers on it
VIN: 3N1AB7AP6DLXXXXXX
Currently there are 98,kilometers on the vehicle and I have experienced the CVT transmission issues that have been plagued with many Nissan vehicles of this eraThis would typically be covered under the year, 100,kilometer powertrain warranty however, Nissan has advised me that at the time of failure, I was just over months out of warranty(Warranty expired May 31st and the date of the failure was September 20th)
From my intensive search on internet forums, this is a known common defect that plagues a very large amount of Nissan vehicles and furthermore, Nissan Canada and Nissan America have waived the cost of these repairs as it has obviously been, a very common failure item that appears to be defectiveMany of these vehicles that Nissan Canada have repaired at no cost to the owner, have many more kilometers on them and are much longer out of warranty tha

Earlier this year, we received a letter from Nissan stating there was a recall on our brand new Murano for a passenger airbag sensor issue We've brought the car in times as still, when my wife sits in the seat, the light goes on to show there is not an adult in the seat so the airbag won't deploy
The light shows the airbag will NOT be deployed and should only be on when no one is in the passenger seat I keep explaining to Nissan most of the time the light works properly but sometimes it definitely doesn't They keep saying since it works the times they are looking at it, there's nothing they can do as it's working properly Then they started giving me excuses that my wife is too light or not tall enough She's 5'and pounds?? They also said it's probably because she's not sitting properly in the seat???? They are basically saying she's not sitting in the seat properly and the airbag doesn't work unless someone weighs pounds or more
This doesn't make

I own a Nissan Sentra 1.8LIt is the worse mistake I ever made to buy one ***I have been driving it for years now and I will be looking to sell itI have only been spending on itI am sick of it*** I just fixed the body throttle last week, now my front brakes are goneDo not get me started on the cost of parts.***

In May we purchased a Nissan Sentra SR from Nissan newWe were told that the warranty was years, or 100,000kmIn May of our vehicle was paid off and months later the transmission went at 116,000kmWe tried for weeks to get in touch with the dealership and left several messages with our calls never returnedMy husband finally was able to get the service manager on the phone who was sympathetic to our issue and said he would try to see what he could do for us since years prior and after our expect were given an extended warranty due to the WELL know issues with the transmission (our model has issues as well with research and has many pending law suits)We were told they were being g"sticklers" with the warranty and given a call back that we could purchase a new transmission at our cost for grandThe warranty for the new transmission however would be for 120,000kmThe issue at hand is a well know issue with their transmissions and I am not sure why

At km's we brought our Nissan Rogue to our local dealer for the nd timeThe first time we were not able to get any heat even after it ran more than minutesNISSAN said it's the way the vehicle is built and nothing they can do about itWe were of course not happy with this but don't know what to do
The second trip to our dealer was this weekIt was was because there is a vibration when we drive itInspection revealed the factory roter is warped which causes the brakes to wear and causes the vibrationWe paid over $to grind down the brake pad but this will re ocurr over and over because the roter is warpedNissan says nothing can be done
Spoke to the mgr and asked that he have his mgr call us which he did only to tell us it's not their problem
How is this not their problem when it's a factory defect?

The subject vehicle was purchased brand new January 2009, and been carefully taken care of, with major service services done by Nissan dealer
Nissan has extended its warranty to its CVT transmission to years (or 200,000km)
In December right after it was serviced by the dealer, this vehicle could not stand the long trip from Toronto to NewYork, with Service Engine Soon light on and unable to gear to higher speedA local garage diagnosed the CVT step motor was failingMileage was then just 172000km
A few days later this vehicle was brought back to the Nissan Dealer, who just discharged this vehicle saying it was because of humidity change between Toronto and New York
Same issues occurred twice after trips to OttawaNissan dealer diagnosed it as sensor malfunctioning and repaired nothing
The same issue became so serious recently and this vehicle was brought to the same dealer on October 10, $was charged for reprogra
