We have never talk to this customer at our company since the customer placed an order with usThe customer ordered this account on 8/4/they signed up for for months but they would get magazines for yearsWe have a day cancellation period and have not received any phone calls

I am rejecting this response because: On 4/21/my Mother was out of town and could not have possibly authorized the charge It is impossible that she spoke with your representative on that dayWhether or not you paid for "subscriptions" is irrelevant, as she did NOT speak with you on that date, or any other date to order a legitimate magazine subscription My mother's attempts to contact your company regarding the matter before her death were futile, as your number at the time was disconnected My mother NEVER gave her credit card information randomly and expressed to me that she only wrote checks for subscriptions This is a woman who still used checks at the grocery store!I appreciate your previous offer of settlement, and accept the cancellation, however I expect a full refund of the money your organization stole from my parents *** *** ***

My mother does not believe she is receiving the magazines that were ordered, and we are simply trying to make sure she is receiving what she is paying forI do not believe it is too much to ask to receive a copy of the paperwork/contract for this transaction, so that we can make sure she is receiving what she is paying forWe are trying to assist in getting her affairs in order, as she has Stage IV cancer and is undergoing treatment at this time
I have called the number provided (***) numerous times over the last two weeks, only to get a recording or get disconnectedThe first recording states, "Your call is very important to usPlease stay on the line and you will be transferred to the next available agent." After several minutes on hold, the next message states that I have reaches the Customer Service Department, and that your offices are closed Wednesday, November 25th through Sunday November 29th, and will reopen on Monday, November 30th hours are 9:a.mto 4:p.mCentral Standard TimeIt then asks to leave your name, spelling of the last name, phone number, and order numberI have left messages this week, the last of which was this morning (Thursday, December 10th)
I also sent e-mails from two different accounts on Monday, December 7th, both of which were returned to meI am attaching copies of those e-mails and return notices for your reference
Since you are evidently not getting any voice mails left on the phone number you provided, please give me a call at (575) *** to discuss

The business representative called me back to discuss requested information and although she initially denied giving me the information over the phone, she finally did soI will be checking the magazines received by my mother this coming month to ascertain whether she is receiving the magazines to which she evidently subscribed
It would be helpful to customers if this business would post a current e-mail address to their website (the one on the website kicked back my e-mails), and if they would answer all callsIt appears that they are screening their calls - the representative denied that I had called because my phone number didn't show up on their systemI later realized this was probably because I had been using my work phone (which has multiple lines) rather than my personal phoneRegardless, several calls had been made and voice mails left

The cusomer ordered magazines from our company when we called her on 3/14/2016 she sighed up for 39.90 for 24 payments and she would get 5 magazines for 5 years. She made monthly payments for 7 months. I spoke to the customer and daughter on 9/21/2016. The daughter said to cancel and her mother...

never ordered this. I advised she did order this the customer gave out all her personal information on 3/14/2016. They requested to cancel. I advised we will cancel remaining portion of contract out but no refund will be given at this time because we have already paid for the subscription the customer ordered. was past the cancellation period which is 30 days. I tried to offer a settlement for 700.00 and she would still get the magazines. She refused to pay anything at that time. I advised the account will go to collections. She then asked to speak to the supervisor. I explained I was. She asked to speak to my boss. I explained he is out of the office and he doesnt handle customer service. I gave her the address to send any complaint she might have and that was the end of the call. Her account has gone to 3rd party collections. We have already paid for the subscription. We dont get a refund thats why we have a cancellation period. Thank you for being so efficient. However, I feel the initial phone call I got was very misleading. I would like to see a copy where Area Publications has paid for the 2 year magazine subscription I agreed to. If this is not the case I believe I should be allowed to cancel the remainder of said subscription.

Our company has a cancellation period of 30 business days. Which you agreed with when you ordered the subscription from us. We do not have to provide records of us paying for the magazines. We have paid for them and you will need to pay the remaining portion of your contract with us. This is why we have the cancellation period in place. Thank you.
