The customer has refused the shipment of this item and as such, there is nothing further that we can do at this time. We see that this item originally shipped on 1/5/2016. The customer reported a defect in the watch on 3/8/2016. Our posted return policy states, “Within 365 days of your order date, provided your product is still in its original box with all materials and has not been worn, used or sized your product...

is eligible for return. To prevent having to go through the manufacturer warranty process defective items must be brought to our attention within 10 days of receipt. After 10 days, defective items are no longer eligible for return, and you must contact the manufacturer for warranty repair.” Since this customer had this watch for 2 months and had been wearing it, we provided the customer with [redacted] warranty instructions. This warranty is excellent and covers everything on the watch except the band. Additionally, they will provide a label to ship the watch to them for repair. Although we advised the customer to send the watch to Asurion for repair or replacement, the customer returned the watch to us and our return facility marked it ineligible and shipped it back to the customer. The customer refused the package and it is being returned back to us. The customer is asking us to issue a full refund for an item that is not eligible for return by Amazon or Areatrend’s return policies. Additionally, the customer opened a claim with [redacted] has denied the claim. At this time, although the customer has refused the package, if they are willing to accept it back, we will resend it to them once we receive it from the carrier. They are welcome to contact [redacted]. Hello,Thank you for your reply. We again do apologize for any inconvenience. As was previously mentioned, we have been in contact with the buyer numerous times regarding this matter. We have explained in great detail what must be done in order for the customer to receive a refund of their fees. This information was provided to the customer through email. Additionally, each item listing page on [redacted] does state that custom and import tax fees are possible upon delivery of their item. This is the responsibility of the consumer to read and understand all terms and conditions when making an online purchase. We have attempted to assist the customer by contacting the shipping carrier, [redacted], to request that a return of the package be made. As of yet, this request has not been fulfilled, however we are continuing to monitor the tracking of the package. Generally, as soon as we see a return confirmed, a refund would be able to be processed. However, the customer has opened a [redacted] claim regarding this matter. As such, we are no longer able to process any refund as this matter is now being reviewed by [redacted] and the customer's bank. This is something we are not involved in at this time. Because the buyer used profanity, inappropriate language, and threats through the [redacted] venue, [redacted] has blocked the buyer from contacting directly through their venue. This is a policy of [redacted]. Additionally, an [redacted] case was opened by the buyer, but was found in our favor by [redacted] as we did provide the customer with the needful information. If the customer would like to withdraw their [redacted] claim, we will provide a refund of their fees as a one-time courtesy prior to seeing return shipment. I have sent return instructions to the buyer’s email address on file. Unfortunately, since we shipped this package outside the United States, we do not provide a return label. However, we have offered to refund up to the amount of the original shipping. Additionally, the buyer will receive a refund of the total amount of the item. The buyer has been asked to provide a copy of their return shipping receipt. The item shipped by the business required $25 to be paid on delivery. This in on top of $10 I paid for returning the item and $30 I paid to Customs for receiving it from the U.S. With the watch cost around $90 I am forced to pay again for no reason (totalling $65). If they can just return the watch back to me (not forcing me to pay to get it) it'll settle this issue.

was no information concerning an address change. Information concerning an address change was not received by email or by the repairs facility upon receiving your watch. However, we still processed the refund for you. You are requesting a refund for $110.00 + the $15 nonrefundable fee for the inspection and shipment of your watch. However, this order had 2 watches on it. The [redacted] watch was $90.64 USD. The other watch on the order was a Lego watch and the cost was $19.46 USD. This Lego watch was not returned for repair and as such, there is no refund due for this item. Although we repaired your watch and paid to ship it out to you, we have submitted a refund in the amount of $15.00 USD for you as a one-time courtesy. Please allow 2-3 business days for these funds to become available to you. Please let us know that this resolution is satisfactory to you. Thank you, AreaTrend
