Hello,This customer placed three orders with our company between 12/5/2016 and 12/6/2016 and we shipped all three packages on 12/6/2016. The customer than contacted us after the packages shipped and wanted these orders refunded. He claimed that we were out of stock in these items. We explained to...

him that we were not out of stock until we shipped his packages and that all three order shipped with all items purchased. The customer became very upset and swore at us and demanded his money back. Unfortunately, we have to have the items back in order to process a refund for these orders. Recalling packages with Standard International shipping with [redacted]s not something that we have done in the past. However, we have contacted our [redacted] representative and we have requested that the stop these packages and return them to us. If they are able to do so, once we receive these packages, we will process a refund per our returns policy. If there are fees for requesting the return, these will be deducted from the refund. Additionally, the customer has filed claims with [redacted] for unauthorized use of his credit card. He clearly placed these orders. Since there are open claims in [redacted] his funds are on hold and we will not be able to process any refunds until [redacted] releases the hold on his funds. If you have any questions, please contact us. Thank you,AreaTrend

Information concerning duties and taxes is stated on our site as well. The COD charges were for the duties and taxes. [redacted] pays the charges to clear the package through customs. Then, upon receiving the package, you are required to pay the fees so that [redacted] will be reimbursed for those charges. placing an order. In the area that the price is listed it states, “sold by AreaTrend”. Under that, it states, “learn about marketplace retailers”. It clearly states that items cannot be returned directly to [redacted] Neither [redacted]t nor AreaTrend are being deceptive in how items are listed by marketplace sellers.  We do see that we have received your return and that we have provided you a full refund as a one-time courtesy since this item was not defective and was listed correctly.
