I ordered the Gladius Sword from Battling Blades back in June.I was told that it would be completed and shipped by the middle of August. Middle of August came and went with no contact from retailer. Sent an email, received a reply that it would be two more weeks. Received a reply that it would be two more weeks. Two weeks came and went and again nothing. I then contacted the retailer Brian *** and was told it would be another couple of weeks. This continued until after Labor Day weekend when I sent another email requesting Brian to cancel my order and refund my money. He then told me that the sword would ship on Friday. I received a sword and weeks later but it was not anything like the Gladius sword pictured on the website. The quality was substandard, both the scabbard and the blade were cheap looking, The steel was not Damascus steel, the hilt and pommel were not the same at all as pictured on the website. The scabbard did not have any ornamentation at all and was made of leather and wood as the depicted on the website! When I contacted Brian again I was told that they had shipped a sample sword by mistake even though in a previous email Brian had told me he had packaged and shipped the sword himself! Do not believe a word he says, these people will tell you nothing but lies, I had to dispute the charge with PayPal to get my refund! Do not buy anything from Bttling Blades for Brian ***!

This "business" picked me around for 5 months on getting the product that I ordered and paid for. I had to reach out to them for updates and never got true updates on the status of the item. Just apologies and fake "it'll be two weeks" wait two weeks and nothing. Get In touch with them again, get another apology and another fake date. I got the same excuse twice in these periods, weeks apart. Come 5 months of waiting and giving a deadline of receiving my item or I want a refund, the order finally gets fulfilled. I get the item and it looks nothing like the advertised item. It's dented, scratched, poorly made, and I go back to their site to see that all the reviews on the item are 5 stars, no less. This business is false advertising it's merchandise and getting what has to be fake reviews on their site. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS

I bought an incredible sword from them. They answered all my questions, customized it the way I needed and sent it to me quickly. Very professional, great service, great products!
