The response lacks a fair amount of truthThere was only one attempt to call me and that was at the same time I was checking my mother into a nursing homeI've sent letters to this firm asking for a written response, not verbal, that the owner has ignoredI was made aware of her heater problem at the same time that this firm was installing a new sewer line and I suggested that she asked a plumber to look at the heater, no appointment was scheduledTo my knowledge it was looked at the same time the servicemen were installing the sewer lineWhat I wasn't aware of, until I started looking at her bills, was the fact that the technician installed a new water heater without a diagnosis or estimate on the "old" oneThere is no evidence, meaning, invoice of either of these actions nor, after requests, has the owner provided copies of theseMy mother has onset dementia and she have have in fact asked that it be replaced, however, an ETHICAL shop would have noticed that it was relatively new, under an existing warranty and made other arrangements to act in a professional manner, not take advantage of an elderly customerThere was a time that I trusted this firm with my repairs and made the recommendation to my mother that she call them in the first placeFollowing the problems that we subsequently ran into, I sent a letter to the owner stating that we would not be using his company any moreThe owner's claim that Whirlpool heaters have a history of issues is nothing more than smokeWhen I checked with the Lowes specialist for heaters, he stated that this model was one of the best selling models from WhirlpoolIf, as the owner states, they have "issues" I doubt that they would have been that popular and, if it had issues, it was under a year warrantyThe other side of that coin is, if he was aware of "issues", is it his job to replace this unit in the first place without consulting the owner? They quickly scheduled me and had a tech come out the same day as a matter of fact he's name was Salvador very helpful young man I would definitely recomend art Douglas
On Saturday April 16th, we had an emergency toilet leak issue We called Art Douglas Plumbing at 4:p.mand Robert was there in less than minutes! Not only was the response time great but Robert fixed the problem and was out of there by 5:p.m Because we called before 5:p.mthere was no extra charge for an emergency service call We will definitely use Art Douglas Plumbing again! Thanks Robert for your excellent service
