A.S.A.P Home Exteriors Reviews (45)

[redacted] from the company called. I informed him of the e-mail I received an e-mail from the company. [redacted] asked what the e-mail contained. I read it to him, and he informed me that a member from the company, who no longer works there, sent the e-mail by mistake. [redacted] assured me that they will waiver the time limit for cancelling the project because of what has happened. He also said that there are other individuals who are having problems with projects and he is trying to get things straight. He informed me that the company will send a refund check to us by the end of August.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
Regards,

I would like for someone at A.S.A.P company to return my calls.  I have left at least 10-20 messages with NO CALL back.  Someone could've have called me and explained the window issues, but did they? NO!

Please give me a call A.S.A.P.

Thanks

I sent you an e-mail on 7 August that an individual named [redacted] from the company called me and said they will waive the fee for cancelling the project, and will send us a refund for our deposit by the end of this month. Yesterday was 31 August, the end of the month and we have heard NOTHING. I just called [redacted] and left a message on his machine. I would like to reopen our complaint and get some action against the company. If that means getting a lawyer, I am prepared to go that route. If that means going the company’s office in Louisville, I am prepared to do that also. In any case, this company should have its license revoked and not be allowed to do business with anyone else. I WILL tell any and all people who ask what kind of a company this is, and will do everything in my power to see that they get NO MORE VICTIMS.

Here is the e-mail I told you about on the phone. I sent this to your office yesterday after I called.
I have called your office today for some advice about my complaint. My ID # is [redacted] with the ASAP...

company. I plan on going to their office tomorrow and confronting them about our job. Is there anything I should or should not do. I suffer from PTSD because of Vietnam, and I do not want to have to resort to any drastic measures. I have had enough of their delaying actions and the runaround we have been getting for four months. My wife will accompany me to keep me from getting in trouble.
Mrs. [redacted], you see an e-mail from my daughter who lives in Louisville. I confided in her because of my PTSD and emotional problems I have had in the past. What you see in the body of this e-mail is exactly what I sent to the ASAP company last night. Their e-mail address is[redacted]. The three individuals I mention in the e-mail are: [redacted] ###-###-####, [redacted] – ###-###-####, [redacted] – ###-###-####. Please help us with this problem, like I said on the phone, I will take my wife to keep me out of trouble.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
ASAP Exteriors has failed to live up to several promises to return the deposit I gave them on 11/18/14.  On that same day, they promised to put the check in the mail the following week.  For several weeks thereafter, I could get nobody to return my calls, then on 1/7/15, they promised me by phone to mail the check on Monday 1/12/115.  They did not.   After my 1/21/15 complaint to the Revdex.com, they promised both of us to promptly forward the check claiming a "mailing" issue had previously delayed them (Revdex.com trusted them at that time and closed the complaint without telling me) but it turned out ASAP lied and did not follow through.  They later stalled by saying they wanted to deal directly with me, which was not acceptable, given their track record.   It has now been almost SIX MONTHS that they have held my funds and they say they have "system" issues and want Revdex.com and myself to use that as a basis to close the complaint. As stated in my previous reply, the ONLY way to resolve this complaint is to RETURN my deposit and the sooner the better!
I relied strongly on the Revdex.com A+ rating of this business when I entered a contract with ASAP on 11/18/14.  I hope Revdex.com will continue its efforts to assist in obtaining my undisputed refund and I also hope Revdex.com will lower the company's rating so future possible customers will be alerted to the dangers of doing business with them.
Regards,
[redacted]

This matter will be handled directly.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

This business has had my $1,000 since November 18, 2014 and has made numerous promises to me and at least one to Revdex.com to return it but has failed to do so.  In fact, they  have made no efforts to contact me.   I will definitely NOT accept any form of promise from them as resolution.  The only resolution is for them to promptly return my money.

Reopen Request
[redacted]...

[redacted] I filed the complaint on 1/21 & very quickly received emails from you that you were seeking a response from ASAP Exteriors. Your letter attachment to one of the emails indicated that you would let me know of any response from ASAP & that it might take several weeks. To this point I have received nothing, so I just checked your site and found that you had closed the complaint on 2/9/15 based on a promise that they would issue a check to me. NO REFUND OR RESPONSE OF ANY TYPE FROM YOU OR THEM HAS BEEN RECEIVED. Since they did not follow through on their promise, I hope you will reopen the complaint AND LOWER THEIR RATING until they show that they are reliable by making an actual refund of my deposit. They certainly had no problem contacting me by phone and making frequent visits to my home when they were trying to make a sale. [redacted]

We had sent out a refund check last Friday to [redacted].  If it hasn't reached you yet I apologize. Please be patient and all will be well.

I [redacted] am Mrs. [redacted] power of attorney so I have the right to inquire of this matter. because of this being delayed for eight months she is now in the hospital suffering from mental anguish, depression, feelings of being taken advantage of. her son called with no results. several times when I called I got the run around, this is when I said if there was no time set to do the work I would have seek other means to resolve this issue . Mrs. [redacted] does not want have the job done by ASAP as a result of the trouble she has had. She requested to have a full refund. She and I feel that after seeking to resolve this matter for so long this is the reasonable way to handle the matter at this point

It is every intent for my company to complete Mr. [redacted] job. If Mr. [redacted] has picked a color from the siding samples given, my company can easily start the job Tuesday May 26, 2016.  Please let me know so I can schedule for Tuesday.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

We are still in the process of closing up other jobs and will be starting Ms. [redacted] job, as soon as we do, I can't give an exact date due to acts of God, weather, labor disputes, or material shortages. We will contact Ms. [redacted] as soon as we have her on that weeks schedule. Thank you.

I had filed a complaint about ASAP roughly 2 months ago (Complaint #[redacted]). After the initial complaint, I was finally able to speak with ASAP (a gentleman named [redacted] who filled out the work order for the estimate for the home repair) regarding the scheduling of the work. At the end of July (July 30th) , I was told from [redacted] that someone from ASAP would contact me on Monday, August 3rd regarding the scheduling of the work to be done. 3 weeks had passed and a call was never received. I've placed several calls (to a new number that [redacted] provided me) which none have either been answer nor have my voice mails been returned. At this point, I have no confidence in the work being done and that the money I've already paid ($500) is lost. Through the Revdex.com and the original complaint, I was able to get a clarification from ASAP as to why the work was never done in the first place. While I completely understand their reasons stated in their response to my complaint, I felt it was advantageous to all parties to allow ASAP to fulfill the work order. However, this has not been the case. While I understand how busy many businesses can be, my phone calls are never returned nor are they ever answered. In fact, when they informed me that they would call me (on August 3rd) to schedule, that call never came. It's been 4 months since the work order was completed with the estimate. Again, I have no confidence that the work will ever be done nor do I have any confidence that I will ever receive a phone call from ASAP Exteriors to even schedule the work.TranslateDesired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution:RefundselectDesired Outcome:The original desired outcome in my original complaint was to simply have the work done. At this point, I feel strongly that this is a scam of sorts and I wish to have my payment returned.Translate

On behalf of ASAP Home Exteriors I'd like to apologize for any inconvenience or stress related to this matter, after moving out of a very harsh winter and a wet spring we have been playing catch-up on work that's been on our books since November, You have indeed paid for this work to be completed...

and we will have it done within the next 2 weeks,  we appreciate your business and will ultimately make this a positively notable experience. Feel free to reach out to us with any future concerns or service issue.

Better...

As of this date, I still have not received a refund, but I have received several excuses as to why I have not received it. I've been told that they were going to mail it; that it had already been mailed; that it was lost in the mail; and that the bank "messed up" their account. I was told to call on Thursday or Friday (5/15/15) to see if the check was ready. I called on 5/15/15 and spoke to Robert. He said he would speak to [redacted] about the check and that he would call me back. A day later, I still haven't heard. I just want my refund.
