Initial Business Response / [redacted] */ We have been working with the city to complete as many inspections as possible every week, however due to the storm the city is backed up substantially and is unable to complete inspections in a timely manner When we call in an inspection there is a 90% chance that the city is overbooked and it doesn't actually get completed The city requires us to place a ladder for their inspector so we can only call in certain jobs each dayLast week we placed ladders on Monday morning called those jobs in every day and none of the have been completed still I wish we could get this done quickly but it is completely out of our controlWe have approximately open permits waiting for inspection I encourage the customer to contact the city to complain I request the Revdex.com remove this complaint because it is out of our control Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) That is an excusePlain and simpleI called the city before sending this complaint and they said nobody has called to set up inspectionAs soon as this complaint was filed, a call was made and an inspection was completed on 4/I believeIt failedWhich now means you need to come fix itI work for the city and with building officials, so don't place all the blame on them for your company's lack of communication and follow throughI will continue to check each day with the building department and see if it's fixedAnd just for the record, I have still yet to be contacted about any of this or about the last inspection that took placeOther customers in the neighborhood don't realize that you haven't finalized the inspections and didn't realize they weren't completeFinish your jobs instead of just cashing the checks and communicate with your customers Final Business Response / [redacted] */ Again I will reiterate this is an issue with the Aurora building department We have been working with John Bradka (?SP) with the city of Aurora for the last few months trying to get these inspections complete with no availWe have over open permits and over of them have been scheduled for inspection and we are getting an average of 10-per week completedWe are still building 7-roofs a week in the city of aurora so no progress is being made to catch up We emailed the city the day your complaint came in and expedited it to the top of the list and it still took days to complete the inspection It did require corrections which we had fixed in business days and we re-requested the inspection that same dayThat has been over a week and we still have not received a second inspection I'm sorry that you have not been happy with this process but I assure you we are doing everything in our powerIf you work for the city I encourage you to reach out to John and confirm we have been in communication and truly are trying to do right by our customers

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/07/13) */ We have spoken to [redacted] on many occasions and have tried to help in any way we can. When we were first made aware of the problem we sent out a contractor to take a look and sistered the rafters to prevent further damage. We advised... to [redacted] that this is an issue that needs to be addressed with her homeowners insurance or the delivery company [redacted] When the customer did speak with [redacted] they opened a claim and the adjuster has been attempting to contact her by email and phone for the last several weeks. The adjuster is: [redacted] XXX-XXX-XXXX X XXXXX [redacted] @libertymutual.com Claim # PXXX-XXXXXX There is nothing more that we can do to help and the balance due needs to be paid in full. Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/07/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Misrepresentations of the facts. Not resolved. Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (3000, 18, 2015/09/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) In fact, ASAP Roofing's subcontractor did deny liability during a telephone conversation and said it was ASAP Roofing's fault that the shingles were delivered 3 weeks prior to installation, but did begrudgingly file a claim. The insurance claim filed by ASAP Roofing's subcontractor is still pending. An engineer from ASAP's subcontractor's insurance company visited my home on July 28, but as of September 25 has not submitted his report to the insurance company. If ASAP Roofing would like to spend some time pursuing the insurance companies, here is the contact information for ASAP Roofing's claim and ASAP's subcontractor's claim: [redacted] XXX-XXX-XXXX ExtXXXXX Claim #PXXX-XXXXXX-XX [redacted] @libertymutual.com [redacted] XXX-XXX-XXXX Claim #PRXXXXXX ***@gstateca.com Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 20, 2015/10/09) */ We were advised to stay out of it. This is up to the insurance companies to come to a determination.

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: It is exactly the kind of response one would expect from this slipshod outfitYes they have called many times, sometimes they left messages and other times I spoke with someone and three times asked that the manager of the business call me so that we could meet at my house and forge a solution - offering a day that I would be available But nobody ever called to either confirm or set up an appointment so they may have come by for all I knowAND, How can they have an appointment if no time was ever set? As I stated earlier when I talked to the office on another occasion they picked the day and time for a meeting at the house (July 3rd at 1:00) and stood me up! Also, one of their people told me when I called about the Dish antenna that they would pay for the service call to right my problemI'm the only one who was ever stood upAs for their claim about not attaching anything to the roof it's either a crock or my swamp cooler must just be setting loose up on the roofI guess I should check that outAnd this bit about the water lines if what they say is true then why did two or three of their people [redacted] l) take photos of the dangling line and not say anything to me about this so called policy they have? Note that their workers starting in the dark was not even addressed in their response Sincerely, [redacted]

I am very sorry for any inconveniences this process has caused youWhen the installation for the insurance work was set we were advised you wanted to have fascia work done and wrote on the work order this would be at an additional costWe did not have a price at that time as we needed a bid from the contractorOnce the bid was received Thomas called and advised of the price for that workBeing that it was already stated on paper this was an additional cost above the insurance funds we did not feel this was needed to be writen out again since the price was agreed to over the phoneAgain I am sorry for any confusion but we were under the impression it was clearly stated this was an out of pocket cost

Again I am very sorry with the communication breakdownsThat is not within our operating procedures and we have addressed this issue to make sure this does not happen with another customerI am confident if you would give us the opportunity to work past this issue and move forward with a clean slate we would prove that to you

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The issues raised, questions asked and problems/financial damages that have been a direct result of ASAP Roofing's spurious placement of a mechanics lien on our home and property have yet to be addressedFurthermore, as extenouesly written correspondence concerning the legality and rules involved in the placement of a mechanics lien, have no been metThus, the breech of contract that is spoken of is a result of a spurious lien which legally voids any said existing contract if an agreement is not met by both partiesIn addition the statute of limitations and strict time line concerning resolution and action taken on such liens have not been met by ASAP RoofingIt is due to this fact that we do not accept the "response" from ASAP RoofingIn accordance to federal and state law, ASAP Roofings placement of a lien on our property in a spurious manner and then failure to either meet strict deadlines or collect or foreclose on the property of which the lien is held, and the claimees demand removal of such lien the company must comply within a reasonable amount of time or the contract held between the contractors and property owners becomes breeched and therefore no longer legal bound to the property owners by the claimants Sincerely, [redacted]

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 11, 2015/08/19) */ As far as speaking to the owner of the company that is not something that would be possible. We have a of people that can assist you and have the authority to help you. [redacted] would be the best point of contact as she is in charge of the... insurance billing for your file. Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (4200, 13, 2015/08/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The home address is XXXXX [redacted] Centennial Co. XXXXX. I don't understand why we cannot speak to the owners of ASAP roofing. I mentioned before that I've spoken with [redacted] and ***, both were not able to explain to me why they charge what they charge. Sounds like they're hiding something. The invoice/estimate that I received from my insurance adjusters differs from the invoices that we received from [redacted] And each time, there were changes to the estimates. [redacted] was not able to help and refused to give out the owner's contact or number. Attached, you will find the contract that was signed for $12,000 and also, the different invoices that were billed from ASAP. Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 15, 2015/08/28) */ Thank you for including the address. This is a very simple issue. I'm surprised it hasn't been resolved already. [redacted] confirmed with us on 3/18/15 a final price (RCV) of $14,417.17 so that is what you would pay. [redacted] should have released all of these funds to you. If they have not then all you would need to do is call them to have them released. They should have all the documents from us that they require. Our contract clearly states an estimated price plus any supplements that are required which in this case was $3487.01 in order to bring the roof up to current building code requirements and permit costs. This is the exact wording in the contract: "for the approximate cost of $____________________, or the Replacement Cost Value (RCV) set forth by the Owner's insurance company also called the "Contract Price". The approximate cost is based on damages known as of the date of this contract. " All of the documents provided clearly state estimate. Estimates are subject to change based on conditions found during the construction process. I have attached a final INVOICE.

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Ms***, I am very sorry to hear of your discontent for our companyI can assure you that we strive to provide the utmost customer satisfactionI want to make sure that we can come to an amicable resolutionTo address your concern that *** placed a piece of paper in front of you and
you just signed itIt is your responsibility to read what you are signingOur agreement is very clear and on one page of letter size paperIt is printed in triplicate and a copy always left with the homeowners for you to review after the sales person leavesIn the agreement it affords you days to cancel if the rep leaves and you look over the agreement if it isn’t what you thought you were signing The reason we do contingent agreements is in this vary caseWe start to invest resources into your file the day that you sign that agreementWe prep the file for the insurance company so everything is ready and documented for easy processing of your claimOur office staff makes phone calls to you and the insurance to coordinate the inspectionWe send out a trained field supervisor to meet the adjuster and make sure everything we believe needs to be approved is approved and properly compensated forAll of this takes time, and costs moneyThe reason we do all of this is because we are guaranteed by the agreement the right to complete the restoration project if it is approved by the insurance companyWhich it clearly was in this caseOur agreement states that we are entitled to 33% damages if the agreement is rescinded after the 3rd day What we are looking for is to be compensated for the resources that we spent to help insure the claim was properly paidI would be willing to close your file out for $to offset our investment

The contract was to complete the repaired work approvedNot to help you complete insurance fraud by painting your house with the money the insurance provided to detach and reset your solar panels

We issued a 100% refund for all work that was not completed

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/06/23) */
The customer stated that he retained a lawyerThis is a legal matter not a Revdex.com mater and we request this complaint be removed
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 9, 2015/06/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response
from the business.)
I retain a lawyer for my businessHe or his firm provides me legal advise on any/all matters of concernI was advise to have ASAP provide a legal invoice to me of the actual work they proformed before submitting final paymentASAP roofing has failed to provide such document even as of today"So it is" a business matter and a poor reflection on how it is being conductedI am prepared to resolve this matter legally if needed, but was willing to avoid such a situationThe compliant is valid and I am encouraging others who have been rip off or threaten by ASAP roofing to file a compliant as well and review their legal rightsASAP roofing still continues to harass me about paying for services not provided, but yet they can not provided a document of the work performThey are right it's more than a billing/ invoice matterThe list is way to long regarding what this has become
Final Business Response /* (4000, 30, 2015/09/21) */
We have sent the invoices out multiple times and provided them to the Revdex.com
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 32, 2015/09/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Hello Revdex.com,
Again, ASAP Roofing has not "provided anything" to support the balance of $4,They continue to submit a bill which has no breakdown of the charges nor do they responded to any request made by the Revdex.com and myself regarding an itemized invoice of the actual work and where they have filed the lien ( no records in counties or cities)Our position has not change from the previous request to have the Revdex.com take whatever action(s) they can against ASAP Roofing and "please make the consumer aware" of this questionable company and their practices
If the position of the Revdex.com is to do nothing further about this other than send documentation back and forth (which now appears meaningless, because ASAP Roofing is not responding or proving items truthfully or as requested)Then, please let that be known so that we can request closing any further communication regarding this case, it seems to have hit the cross road where either something further needs to be done or all communication needs to be recorded for court proceedingsWe stand firm with our position and it is apparent the ASAP Roofing is wasting time & playing games and does not intend to provide the proper documents or answer any questions that we ask
We will take the necessary steps on this in to preserve the integrity of what is right and cannot wait for our day in court
Thanks,
*** *** (9/24/15)

I am rejecting this response because:I do not agree with your response. Your company, ASAP, is responsible for the repairs because ASAP caused the gas leaks. In addition, your company has not fulfilled or completed the agreed upon repairs:window screens not replaced, chimney painted too thinly (dark streaks showing under beige paint), shingles not trimmed on edge of roof, edges of gutters bent during roofing process, broken fascia board, unpainted flashing, no flashing around base of chimney, garage door not caulked, debris in paint on siding and garage door.Your company has shown no customer service or integrityYour business is repair of roofs so you should know how to repair roofs. I have never had this problem when having my shingles replaced in the past
Sincerely,

I am very sorry that this happened and I completely understand your concernsWe can not be held liable for another contractors lack of care when installing the AC linesBuilding code requires that the line be inside steel sheeting if it is going to be within 1/an inch from the decking or drywall
do avoid exactly this issueThe flex pipe that was installed does not meet this code and that is the reason it was damagedAgain I am sorry that this happened and that there was additional expense but I'm sure you understand there was no way for us to avoid hitting this lineAnd if it was properly installed the nail would not have penetrated itI would recommend you contact the original AC instillation company as it was their mistake that caused the issue

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/13) */
I'm sorry the clean up was not to your satisfactionI will send someone out again to run a magnet
As for the screen we assigned it to a contractor not sure what happenedIt is very hard to get one screen replacedThey don't like to do
them as there is no profitI could recommend taking the screen to *** *** and they can replace itUsually less then $Just bring us a receipt
As to your question about the check*** has not worked for us for over a monthIf you would like to bring us the check we will sign off on itWe are open from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday

Again I am very sorry for these issuesHowever it is the homeowners responsibility to make sure the chosen color fits with your HOA guidelinesWe have made a very fair offerThere is nothing more we can do for you

I am sorry for any confusion but this break down is pretty clear on our invoice. The total that insurance approved is $12,174.24 We issued the credits that we agreed to and leaves a remaining balance due of $1,147.31 If your insurance has not sent you these remaining funds
please contact them in regards to that

Please have the title company contact usWe can get them whatever they need to clear up the confusion
