Hello, Attached is the response and three other items that are explained below. No call found = Is our report that our report shows zero calls received from the number Mr *** provided. History of Notes = You will see that only one set of notes was put into our in-house file which says Revdex.com complaintThere are no other notes in the file stating Mr *** called in before and complained, requested to not be mailed again, etc. Campaign = This shows how many marketing peices was sent to a single customerWe have this in place to ensure us that only one marketing piece to a single personOn the top of this page, it states Mr ***'s info so any mail piece sent to that name and address will show as a campaignAs you can see it only shows one sent item which is the one Mr *** complained about. Sent a fraudulent notice designed to look like an official government form informing me my auto warranty is expiring and if I don't send them money now I will never be able to get a warranty again and I will have to submit to additional government inspectionsThey are not affiliated with the government or Honda but are trying to scam me into sending them money
I apologize that Mr*** had not received the check at the time that he rejected the complaint as it was en route to the address he provided to usPlease see attached check that was issued for the pro-rata amount and the bank statement showing that the check has indeed been cashedWe reached out to Mr *** on multiple occasions to see if we could resolve the issue however we have been unsuccessful reaching himAgain, Assured Auto Repairs had nothing to do with the claim but in good faith and to satisfy the customer refunded them promptly to avoid any further issueWe ask that you mark this case closed as resolved as the customer has indeed received the checkThank you

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
First and foremost, I am insulted by the fact *** refers to me as "Ms***." This is a good indication that this company does not attempt to verify their records of who they send these notices toAdditionally, it is evident of a
terrible ignorance and prejudice that some American people have against people of French descentI have experienced this kind of treatment before and I am frustrated, to say the leastIgnorance is not an excuse for what I consider not just sexist, but prejudicial remarks.***'s response is exactly the same as responses I have seen posted by others who have complained in the pastThis is unacceptableI have called that number and the name of their company was the name stated in the conversation I had with their representativeI called back a few times afterward (after business hours) and the same company name was stated in the voice mailIf this mailer is not from his company, then why is it his company that picks up the phone when I call the number provided? It is insulting that this representative, "***," sends the same response to any customer complaintInstead, he should fess up to a mistake that was made on the part of his company and attempt to rectify the situation. It does not surprise me that *** stated there was no record of the call I made to their companyAlthough he claims I have been put on the "do not contact" list, I have been put on this list before and this company refuses to acknowledge itIf one is to assume that I have been put on this list before and the company continues to contact me, then their is a disconnect between whomever holds the "do not contact" list and their advertising department. To reiterate, I am not satisfied with ***'s responseHe is being presumptuous with his cookie cutter responseMyself and others are frustrated by these commentsI wish for the company to simply admit fault, remove "Mister *** ***" from their lists, and move on
Sincerely,
*** ***

Re: Complaint # [redacted] - [redacted]
We would like to apologize if one of our advertisements has met Ms. [redacted] with inconvenience, however we would like to point out as a standard practice due to cost, Assured Auto Protection does not send...
potential consumers more than one (1) advertisement for a given vehicle. If Ms. [redacted] is receiving multiple mailers for her vehicle, then she is receiving them from multiple companies utilizing mailers to offer services similar to those offered by Assured Auto Protection, as well as companies offering a wide variety of other services. TO ensure that the consumer receives no mailings from our company, we have placed Ms. [redacted] on our internal "Do Not Contact" list.
We would lastly like to point out that it would be impossible for any company to insinuate a consumer's desires to be withheld from said mailers without notice of said desires. In reviewing our records we found no communications or correspondence from Ms. [redacted] advising her desires to be withdrawn from any such mailing. As such we would respectfully request this complaint be closed as INFO ONLY.

I accept that Assured Auto Protection agrees to stop sending me repeated "Final Notice" mailers and has put me on the Do Not Contact list. I will keep Revdex.com informed and/or reopen the complaint should I receive further mailings.
Assured Auto Repairs LLC April 25, 2017 Dispute Resolution Department Revdex.com 211 N. Broadway Ste 2060 St. Louis, MO 63102 Dear Sir or Madam: Thank you for your correspondence regarding Mr. [redacted] and his concerns. After a review of the complaint, it is apparent that Mr....
[redacted] is referring to Guardian LLC, which is the company he set up his policy with, and with whom he has had the majority of his correspondence. Guardian LLC is a completely separate business entity, and therefore should not be associated with Assured Auto Repairs, LLC’s Revdex.com profile. We have been assisting Guardian LLC with their customer service needs since April 1, 2017, which is presumably why Mr. [redacted] was under the impression that we were the same company. As he stated, Guardian LLC did move, and requested a change of address with the USPS to have all mail forwarded, but for reasons unbeknown to us, his letter was returned instead of forwarded. Mr. [redacted] was only eligible for a pro-rated refund at the time of cancellation, but as a courtesy, he has been sent a full refund of all monies paid. Mr. [redacted] originally sent us incomplete cancellation paperwork that arrived on 3/30/17, and with the standard refund time being 30-45 business days, we not only overcompensated him, but we also expedited the refund by sending out the refund check on 4/24/17. The lines of communication have been open since the start of this process with Mr. [redacted], and we have assisted him at every turn, both before and after his cancellation request. We always strive to provide great customer service to all customers, whether they choose to remain with the company or not. We understand that it can be frustrating for a customer to not receive their money back immediately, and to understand the refund process on the business end, but we work diligently to make it as expeditious and seamless as we possibly can. After providing adequate support, we expect this complaint to be removed from Assured Auto Repairs LLC Revdex.com profile, since it was in fact filed on our company in error. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any further questions or concerns. Sincerely, [redacted] Assured Auto Repairs, LLC

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience the receipt of
our advertisement may have caused Mr. [redacted]. It is never our intention
to inconvenience consumers such as Mr. [redacted], but rather provide
interested consumers with the opportunity to protect their vehicle.
Upon receipt of Mr. [redacted]’s complaint, we initiated a detailed
review of the reference matter. In reviewing our records, we were
unsuccessful in locating any correspondence or communication from Mr.
[redacted] back in February or March of 2016. As such, we were unaware
of Mr. [redacted]’s intent to be removed from our advertisement database
at that time and a subsequent advertisement was generated in May of
2016. Our records indicated that on 5/27/2016 we received a message from
Mr. [redacted] via our website, requesting the removal of his
information from our mailer database. Per the customer’s request, Mr.
[redacted] was immediately placed on our “Do Not Contact” list to help ensure that our company sends no further advertisements to Mr. [redacted].
In closing we would like to again apologize to Mr. [redacted] for
any inconvenience the receipt of our advertisement may have caused
him. Per his request, we have subsequently placed Mr. [redacted] on our
“Do Not Mail” list. Mr. [redacted]’s information would re-main in our
system only to ensure that all future leads can effectively be examined
to restrict the generation of future advertisements to the customer.
Furthermore, Assured Auto Protection does not participate in the sale
or redistribution of consumer data to subsequent to our usage. We
hope that this resolution will meet the satisfaction of Mr. [redacted],
and we respectfully request that your office considers this matter to be, closed as resolved. I appreciate your time, Thank You. We apologize if one of our mailers has met Ms. [redacted] with inconvenience. It is important to note that there are...
numerous companies that use similar mailers to advertise services similar to those provided by our company. In reviewing our records, we have only been able to locate one (1) record of any advertisement being mailed to the referenced consumer, which directly correlates with our company's marketing procedures. Likewise, a review of our records indicated no such communication from the referenced consumer requesting their removal from any mailing list. The submitted complaint to the Revdex.com is the only request, verbal or written, that our office has ever received from Ms. [redacted]. As such we suspect that Ms. [redacted] is possibly confusing our advertisement with advertisements from another company or companies offering similar services. Per the consumer's request via this complaint, we have added Ms. [redacted] to our internal "Do Not Contact" list, restricting any future mailings. In consideration of the circumstances, would respectfully request that your office consider this matter to be closed as INFO ONLY.
Thanks You

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
According to my records, I've received this same notices 5 times (all the same address) and have asked 5 times to be removed from the mailing list. The inefficiency and reluctancy of your operators to follow simple instructions is baffling.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I was barely able to accept resolution as this company and many others DO NOT remove people from their 'Do Not Contact' database until others get involved (such as the Revdex.com.) I still have the 2 current mailers and will keep them with all other junk mail for quite a long time. This is how I know I contacted them on Feb 23rd, 2016 @ 10:15 AM PST.
Sincerely,

We would like to apologize to Mr. [redacted] if one of our
advertisements has met him with inconvenience, as this is never our
inten- tion. Per the consumer’s request, we have added Mr. [redacted]
to our internal “Do Not Contact” list to ensure that he receives no
future mailings from our company. We would like
to point out that the advertisement that was sent to Mr. [redacted] was
already in the process of being altered, prior to the submission of
said complaint. Issues with the advertisement were previously brought
to the attention of our compliance staff, who immediately halted the use of said advertisement. The advertisement has since been altered based on council recommendations.
We would again apologize for any inconvenience this matter may
have caused Mr. [redacted]. We have since added Mr. [redacted] to our “Do
Not Contact” list per his request. We furthermore anticipate that the
alterations we have made to our advertisement will help eliminate
confusion regarding our services for future consumers. We would
respectfully request that your office considers this matter to be closed as resolved. I appreciate your time, Thank You. [redacted] Owner Assured Auto Protection [redacted] [redacted] (p) [redacted] (f) [redacted]@assuredautoprotection.com Visit Us Online Today @ http://www.AssuredUS.com !
First I would like to start by apologizing if our advertisement has met Ms [redacted] with frustration. It is no different than getting an advertisement from different grocery stores, credit cards or auto dealers. It is important to note that there are several companies that provide a similar service...
to ours. We understand that some people may have had less than impressive interactions with other companies in our industry but we strive to provide the best level of customer service possible. We would be happy to remove Ms [redacted] from our mailing list. Again we apologize for any frustration this may have caused. We ask that you please remove the complaint as we have removed Ms [redacted] from our mailing list promptly and completely.

Re: Complaint [redacted] - [redacted]...

We would like to apologize to Ms. [redacted] if one of our advertisements has met her with inconvenience. It is in no way our intention to inconvenience any potential customer, but rather provide consumers the opportunity to cover their vehicle beyond the manufacturer's warranty. Due to the wide variety of driving habits for different consumers, we are not always able to determine the status of existing coverage when sending advertisements. Upon contacting our office, our trained staff of representatives obtains the vehicle's current mileage and helps consumers to determine if any coverage is needed. We have no intention of attempting to misleading Ms. [redacted], nor are we interested in providing coverage to a vehicle, if said vehicle is already covered. At the consumer's request, we have added Ms. [redacted] to our internal "Do Not Contact" list to ensure that she will receive no future mailings from our company.
We would lastly like to point out that it would be impossible for any company to insinuate as to consumer's desire to be withheld from said mailers, without prior notice of said desires. We have reviewed our records and have found no information from which we could have anticipated Ms. [redacted] dissatisfaction with the receipt of our advertisement. As mentioned above, Ms. [redacted] has been placed our internal "Do Not Mail" list to restrict any future mailings from our company. As such we would respectfully request that your office considers this matter to be closed as resolved.
