Customer bought a truck via *** and complained about the thick under coating on the bottom doors which were already described in the ad, also there was over pictures of the truck showing the condition of the truckAfter he won the auction he wanted extra work to be done to the truck to his
standards which we did not agree upon since what you bid is what you pay in other words he wanted the truck for a lot cheaper then what he bid and on top of it he wanted extra work done to itThat's not how we conduct business after an item is wonAs far as *** ** ***t ad that he is stating we do not sell animals or do any other work except selling car/trucksWe did not agree to do any of the extra work for the customer and we did not agree to take money off the vehicle because the winning bid is a winning bid

I am rejecting this response because: A certified mechanic is the one telling me that the brakes could not have worn out from the legal limit to where they are in a month and a half Additionally, my mechanic is stating that the caliper is so rusted, that it had to be in a non working condition well before a month and a half agoI was given a checklist by the dealer stating that the brakes were checked, but if he truly did that he would have caught that the caliper was not in working condition That alone is fraud and I will be taking that issue to the proper authoritiesI take all of my vehicles to a mechanic that I trust Since this dealer let the truck be sold without a working brake on one of the rear wheels, I wouldn't trust him to fix it He had that chance when he sold the truck to me The fact that he let a truck be sold without a working brake on one of the wheels is a legal issue, and I will be reporting this to the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles

You had the truck inspectedWe also provided you with our inspection sheet that we went thru the truckYou're buying a northern truck, surface rust is up here, I know *** has a warm climate and you guys expect to see no surface rust on your trucks, but keep in mind up north we get wild

This is a statement, I respect he came down and talk to me in personI asked what is wrong with the truck and he stated that he brought it to another mechanic to fix it and all and a month later comes down and tells me I owe him bucks for breaks. I think it is common sense he is just
trying to get money out of meIf you see a problem the first thing anyone would do is call the dealer they bought it from and ask if they can help them out which I would happily would of replaced the breaks for himSo then a month later comes down and tells me thatI do not let any trucks leave the lot with bad breaks I am not sure if his son did burn outs or donuts with it due to it was a very fast truckSo all goes all this statement he put it is a statement and just want to make us look bad for not giving him any money back for the mistake he has done Thank you

I strongly disagree with this complaint, *** came loved the truck and At time of sale there was absolutely nothing wrong with the truck as she brought the truck back and said there are issues with the truck which to my knowledge they took the truck off roading which of course with any vehicle if you beat on it and go off roading which was told at the dealership it will cause issues to the truck*** said to purchase tires and she will pay for the tires and still owes us the amount full for the tires*** and her husband came down to the dealership to see the truck once the tires were on it and they were both lieing to me saying they never said put the tires on there and I told them not a problem I have the tires in the back and I will put the old tires back on and will also be a good guy and fix the power stearing and something with the shocksHer husband started swearing and had a kid here in the office and told them they have to leave and go outsideI still put in effort to help my customer and went outside and said I will still be the good guy and fix your truck even though it was bought as is and they broke the truck and they said thank you and told them I will call you when to bring the truck down to fixThen I see this complain unexpectedly. This is all not true I have all paperwork that, this was an private sale and I sell mostly diesels on the lot and I just wanted to get rid of it so I put it online for 3,and it retails at about 6,and I have told them this you will see some problems due to that is why it is so cheap and they
agreed to purchase itI really do not get why all this is a surprise to them but I also have all paperwork she has warranty with miles and signed that she is buying the car as isThat is true that they been calling me but I been on vacation which I just got back and I have told them please do not call my cell if you wanted to talk to someone give the shop a callThank you

There was over pictures of the truck that we represented including a *** with the vin numberBuyer is making a completely statementHe saw the truck in person and did not like some of the scratches which is on a truck years old and because of it he was arguingWe held the
truck for close to months for him so we couldn't return the deposit for him

Anything can get worn out right away depending on how the person drives it, being as it is a truck it does take a lot of power to stop so the brakes could had been worn right out after heavy driving conditionsThis customer brought the truck after days to his own mechanic and of course his mechanic will try to sell him unecessary workI told him if you had bad brakes bring the truck back to me so I can look at it and help you out, I will not be closing my shop so I can take a ride with the customer to his mechanics shop to check out the truck, he simple had to drive the truck to me and I would of helped him out

I am rejecting this response because: Although it was a "As Is" sale, it was based on the verbal agreement of repairs of the larger items that needed immediate repairs at no expense to me and that it passed
their inspection as being safe for the road even though I was not given a copy but I can assure you that I will have proof of fraudulent reporting as I have documentation from another garage who thoroughly went through the truck with no knowledge of why they were being asked to do it as reporting that the vehicle mentioned is not safe and several items Atlantic Motors reported as passing inspection indeed do notI will be taking it to court to prove it and that is how confident I am in their misguided and fraudulent behavior

I am rejecting this response because this is all false. I am [redacted] and purchased this truck under a description of great condition. I have been in contact via email and have received pictures of trucks the dealer was going to trade for the Dodge that was not per description on [redacted]. Also [redacted] returned $500 which was the down payment after I contested the sale with them. The dealership didn't want me to pay with [redacted] because I would have received the full payment back. I know why they wouldn't take the [redacted] payment now. They told my brother on the phone they were not going to work with me on this. They have also stopped contact with me. Much of the truck is just bondo or some kind of metal filler. The steel flat bed on it also has rusted partially away. Some parts of the engine are so rusted they don't work correctly. This truck only has 65000ish miles on it. I wonder if those are real judging from the condition of the truck. This truck was very false advertised and these guys are trying to deceive me. The pictures were too far away or manipulated to not show any of this and it was not described like this. Surface rust is one thing but this truck is literally falling apart.

We had a terrible experience with this dealership and advise everyone to stay away ! After reviewing a truck online we spoke with Bobby and told him we would like to purchase the vehicle. During two different phone conversations, on a Saturday, we offered to leave a deposit on the truck to ensure the truck would be available for us. Twice Bobby said we did not leave the a despot to hold the truck. We live on Long Island and were not able to get there until Monday as we were told the dealership was closed on Sundays expect for appointments only. We requested a Sunday appointment and was told by Bobby that he does not work on Sundays and he assured us the truck would still be available on Monday. We were also told that they are not able to finances out of state and we would need to provide our own financing. On Saturday morning Bobby emailed us a bill of sale for the truck along with a copy of his Used Dealer License in order for our bank to issue a check for our car loan. At first Bobby did not want to give us a copy of his dealer's license (which should have been a red flag) and it took him 4 attempts (with a bad attitude) to provide a properly filled out bill of sale. On Monday morning we arrived at the dealership only to be told that Bobby's partner sold the truck on Sunday even though we had a bill of sale for it and was told it would not be sold. We wasted 7 hours of our time and incurred travel expenses of over $100 to find out this dealership sold our truck out from under us. Bobby offered to "make it up to us" with another vehicle but all his other vehicles did not fit our criteria, were in horrible condition and we would not trust this dealership with a vehicle transaction. Inside the dealership was downright filthy, the employees were unprofessional and it appeared as if they are running a very questionable used car dealership.

[redacted] 3-2-15I am rejecting this response because: the response from the dealer is untrue. There was no inspection on our part, The salesman [redacted] was called and he verbally represented the truck as one of the nicest they have ever had.  No inspection report was given to us prior to purchase. We buy several hundred truck a year from your area, and never have we ever received one in this bad a condition.
This is not just surface rust. The frame and support braces were totally rusted thru and unsafe for the highway. The truck was represented as the 4x4 working and it was locked into 4x4 low.
The rear main seal was leaking, the transmission cooler line was leaking and the truck would not run long enough to get it from the transport truck to the [redacted] dealers garage. 
The fuel  pump was totally shot and needed to be replaced. 'the pictures dipict the true condition of the truck.
They did not show any pictures of the undercarriage of the vehicle on [redacted]. The case has been forwarded to the [redacted] and our[redacted].
I have also enclosed with my case pics of the truck showing the rust condition. Also we purchase several hundred trucks a year from your area and never seen one this bad. Total misrepresentation by sales staff.Sincerely,[redacted]

I highly disagree with his story, he brought the truck to me and I told him I would weld the exaust on and he said that is perfect and that is all he wanted done, he has looked at the truck 5 times before purchasing and also has passed emissions and inspection, im sure if you beat on your trucks or...

car I am petty sure things will get messed up mechanically. He is requesting this after 6 months that it needs injectors which I highly doubt.

Hello there,[redacted] put a deposit on a [redacted]. After we posted over 125 pictures of the truck inside out he won the auction and placed a $500 non-refundable deposit. He did ask me for additional pictures of the truck because I guess 125 wasn't enough which I did send to him. He then asked me for all the paperwork so he can  get a loan for it which I sent it to him. He then sends an inspector after he won the truck which he was supposed to do it before the auction is over- I said fine send your guy over. The truck is pretty much like new and [redacted] for some reason changed his mind on the truck. Instead of him being nice to me about it and ask for the $500 back he started threatening me saying he will hire a lawyer and send his motorcycle friends over to my shop to take care of me- in other words he was threatening me and he was thinking by doing so I will be nice to him? I don't think so. I sent him the purchased order which he signed knowing that the deposit is non-refundable. Not only that but he did not even buy the truck and he's already giving me hard time. I am glad he never proceeded with the sale because this customer will never be happy about anything. And next time you want something don't try and threaten me because that will bring you nowhere.

[redacted] if you were here I would have asked you to bring it down and I would of been MORE THAN HAPPY to repair the little issues, you might have had. The 4 LOW being stuck can freely be turned back to 2WD.
