Review: I purchased a truck from this company and on the sales order it is written that they needed to repair a door handle on the truck. I was informed it needed to be ordered and took delivery of the vehicle. I have made several attempts to email, call, and stop by in person for them to resolve this. almost 4 months later the truck has still NOT been repaired as promised in writing. The truck also is failing to meet safety requirements. It was sold with faulty rear brakes, no rear brake pads, no spare tire, broken ball joints, broken universal joint in rear axle, bald front tires (replaced at my own cost) broken transmission line (poorly repaired and needing to go to dealership for actual repair). Transmission no shifting properly, There was no safety inspection done on the vehicle prior to being sold as promised. Driver rear power lock does not work. Atlantic motors after being contacted several times has been unwilling to fix, repair, or replace any of the faulty equipment.Desired Settlement: I would like Atlantic motors to buyback the truck at price the price I paid plus the cost of repairs I have done (i will provide receipts) or pay the cost of repairs at a [redacted] dealership.

Response:
We sold you the truck with over 200k miles in a as-is way since May and the only promise made to you was the door handle which you never came to get, 8 months later your complaining about issues that your having with the truck, are you serious now? We cannot give anything than the door handle that was promised to you, after 8 months you cannot complain about issues because anything can arise during that period of time.
Review: Purchased a 2005 [redacted] on [redacted] on Jan 20, 2015. Represented as being a very nice and very strong running truck. Totally misrepresented by his [redacted] ad and also by way of a phone conversation with owners salesman [redacted]. When truck was received in [redacted] by way of truck carrier transport, 4x4 was locked in to 4 wheel low. Engine would not keep running, the truck was a total rust bucket, frame was completely rusted through. Repair bill and transport to [redacted] was in excess of $5500.00. Now the owner will not answer my phone calls, the salesman will hang up on you if you tell them it is about a complaint. Next step will be attorneys, [redacted], and [redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund the amount of my damages $5500.00

Response:
You had the truck inspected. We also provided you with our inspection sheet that we went thru the truck. You're buying a northern truck, surface rust is normal up here, I know [redacted] has a warm climate and you guys expect to see no surface rust on your trucks, but keep in mind up north we get wild winters. regardless the truck was inspected and showed to the customer in 360 details.

Review:
[redacted] 3-2-15I am rejecting this response because: the response from the dealer is untrue. There was no inspection on our part, The salesman [redacted] was called and he verbally represented the truck as one of the nicest they have ever had. No inspection report was given to us prior to purchase. We buy several hundred truck a year from your area, and never have we ever received one in this bad a condition.
This is not just surface rust. The frame and support braces were totally rusted thru and unsafe for the highway. The truck was represented as the 4x4 working and it was locked into 4x4 low.
A few months ago I purchased a supercharged [redacted] from Atlantic Motors LLC on a no reserve auction via [redacted] I drove nearly 2,000 miles round trip to pick up the [redacted] on a car carrier and bring it home. I test drove the [redacted] before purchasing it and I noticed that it generally seemed to lack power despite being supercharged. I also noticed that there was a small coolant leak coming from the front of the engine. Nevertheless, I felt somewhat committed to the deal because I spent $1,500 on transportation costs and a $500 deposit to pick up the [redacted]. After purchasing the [redacted], the gentleman that was doing the paperwork with me, informed me that I would not be able to take the title home with me; the title was at another storage location. Now feeling completely obligated to follow through with the deal, I hesitantly agreed to have the title mailed to me. The good news is that the title did come in the mail a week later and it was clean and clear. The bad news is that the catalytic converter was completely clogged and it caused the engine to overheat the first time I drove it more than 10 miles. Additionally, there was severe damage to the rear drive shaft, causing the dash to violently rattle and shake above 35 mph. The new catalytic converter was a $1,500 expense on top of the towing bill and the new drive shaft was $800. I personally believe that Atlantic Motors LLC sold me a [redacted] with a known issues in order to maximize their profit by not repairing or disclosing issues. I do not seek any monetary reimbursement as there is no way I can prove that they knew about the issues, nor do I believe that they would ever admit to such an accusation.
Review: I purchased a 2005 [redacted] advertised on [redacted] as a 2005 [redacted] Dually - [redacted] - [redacted] - [redacted] - [redacted]? and [redacted] number [redacted]. When I picked up the vehicle on Saturday, February 7, 2015 I found that the description and pictures listed on the [redacted] advertisement were not true to the actual vehicle. After spending several hours at [redacted] they fixed what they could and agreed to overnight the necessary items required. As of today, I still have not received the fish stick for the [redacted] or the wiring harness. These items were listed on the signed paperwork by Atlantic showing that they were taking responsibility for these items and agreeing to mail them to us. I have also not received the title for the vehicle and therefore, have not been able to transfer the vehicle or register the vehicle in the state of [redacted]. My transport tag expires on March 7, 2015 and if the paperwork is not completed by then I will not be able to use the vehicle.
[redacted] misrepresents themselves on [redacted] in many different ways including their description of the vehicle stated 'Fly down and drive it home with no issues at all' which was not true. I have attempted to contact [redacted] on multiple occasions and there is no answer and no way to leave a message. I am also unable to make a complaint on [redacted] due to the way payment is made.Desired Settlement: A brand new fish stick for the [redacted] and a new wiring harness should be mailed to me with tracking information immediately. If it is not received by February 28, 2015 I feel I should be able to purchase the items on my own and Atlantic Motors LLC should be required to pay the costs associated with that purchase. I also want the title of the vehicle to be received immediately along with the tracking info for that document. If the documents are not received it time for the vehicle to be registered in the state of [redacted], Atlantic Motors LLC should be responsible for any fines/fees incurred due to the vehicle not being registered/inspected due to them not sending the necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
Review: On October 12 2014, I bid on and won a Truck listed on [redacted]. The following is the actual dealers description of the truck:
"Here's a hard to come by a clean and healthy [redacted]. The truck features the [redacted] engine. Motor is very healthy and it fires right up each time with ease and it sounds solid and super healthy. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly thru out all the gears with no issues at all. The 4x4 engages in and out as it should with no issues at all. This could be the cleanest mileage 2nd generation [redacted] out there! The truck is clean and shows! Don't miss out as you will have years and miles of [redacted] reliability. Needless to say, this is one of the finest examples of the legendary 2nd generation [redacted] pickups. For those who don't know, this truck is one of the last American pickups built to last a lifetime. It defines "heavy-duty". It features a legendary [redacted] engine, It has more power and torque than the average person will ever need, with great fuel economy to boot. (20+ MPG have been widely reported on these trucks) The truck drives great! Imagine driving a well-maintained 19 year-old truck with about 174-K carefully driven miles. No big surprises. The engine has barely been broken in. AC system is intact and blows cold. Brakes are in great shape. The truck has been kept clean as you can see in the pictures. This truck drives just as good as it looks. Few nicks and marks for the age but nothing major, radio doesn't work and the fuel gauge is not working. I would drive this anywhere. VIN (Vehicle Identification Number): [redacted] Mileage: 174,826".
As I was instructed by the dealer, I made a $500.00 electronic deposit to [redacted] using my [redacted] account. During the week I obtained a bank check for the balance as instructed by [redacted], who I asked the dealers business hours. I planned to go to pick up the truck in [redacted]. an Sat. 10/18, but when I found that the ferry did not sail until 10:30, realized I could not make it to [redacted] before closing. I took a vacation day from work on Monday 10/20 to pick up the truck. When I arrived, the first thing I did was to look at the truck, and noticed that the rusted out areas of the doors and fenders had been filled with plastic body filler and the truck painted. From a distance of 25 feet it looked great, but up close you could easily see the attempt to pass of a rusted truck as "possibly cleanest mileage 2nd generation [redacted] out there!". I looked under the truck and could see that the shock absorbers were severely rusted, leading me to believe that the truck - being 4wd was probably used for off road beach fishing use, or to plow snow. Wondering what else the dealership might be hiding, I went in to discuss my findings with [redacted]. I told him what I had found, and that according to [redacted] policy, if the vehicle was misrepresented, I was entitled to my deposit back, which was the option I wanted. I gave him a choice of a lesser price to reflect the actual condition of the vehicle, but he stated that he could not, and would have "his guy" refund my deposit. I returned home upset at having wasted so much time because Atlantic chooses to misrepresent their vehicles, but considered it a life lesson learned. When I checked my [redacted] statement the next two days for a refund, I also checked the dealers [redacted] profile for other unsatisfied users (there was one listed after I bought the truck, but before I went to see it, and found that "[redacted]" was no longer a registered user. I also noticed that the same truck (as determined by the vin.) hat been sold to three other buyers before me, who also apparently thought that the truck was not as described and decided against buying it. My investigation also showed that under the [redacted] username "[redacted]", Atlantic had sold this truck to still another poor unsuspecting victim.
A [redacted] search for Atlantic Motors turns up numerous similar complaints, including the accusation of shill bidding, which may explain why some of the "buyers" of this truck had low feedback scores and only bid on items listed by Atlantic (under the two mentioned user names). Atlantic has also ceased using the "[redacted]"id. While at Atlantic, I was able to look at another truck that was listed at the same time mine was (by [redacted]), and sold 1/2 hour after mine. Also misrepresented, it was re-listed while I was there (also by [redacted]), and then a third time (by [redacted]). The truck sold all 3 times, but not so surprisingly both trucks are still listed for sale on Atlantic's web site (as of this writing). I had noticed a trend where buyers left negative feedback, which was then retracted (yes, I am referring to blackmail / deposit extortion). I also find myself wondering if the deposit being made to [redacted] is in an effort to make it harder to trace to get it back for the buyer, or harder to trace for tax purposes!Desired Settlement: First, to stop misrepresenting their vehicles so that others do not have to go through what I and others have had to go through.
Second, my $500.00 deposit returned.
Third, reimbursement of my transportation costs of approximately $50.00.
You will please note that this accounting does not include anything for the numerous hours of time that has been invested by not only myself, but numerous others harmed by the inconsiderate false advertising policies utilized by Atlantic motors.

Response:
Absolutely false statement, the buyer wanted to get a [redacted]. We're talking about an 18 year old truck! For its age the truck was in great shape. The customer wanted a scratch/surface rust free truck, especially in northeast unless their a little used you'll find them in a good shape but other than that looking at older trucks you will not find them in excellent shape. As I said the truck was in great shape and matter of fact we end up selling it for a lot more then what he wanted it. He basically came and was arguing with us about some surface rust that he saw and some scratches which I've already showed them to him prior to him coming and also I told him that due to age you will find that on these older trucks. Either way this customer is the type of person that no matter what you do for him he will not be happy.
Review: I was told by this dealership that a used truck I was purchasing was all set. Loan was all set, small things on the front end would be fixed and promised a new plow for all the confusion and problems prior and has even added to my policy cause they needed a binder and insurance card. They said they were working on it this week for pick up on Friday, December 18, 2015. Called this morning no answer, my father reached the owner and owner stated this - Truck has fallen threw, will not be getting it, not returning deposit, cant help with insurance paid out and that there is problems and liens on truck so it cant be sold for at least 4 wks. They have run my credit a handful of times, have copies of several pay stubs, personal information etc. Im very upset and feel this is very unfair and wrong with how Ive been treated. Im 19 yrs old and I do believe they are taking full advantage of me.Desired Settlement: $100 deposit for truck, $100 for being on policy and $100 for gas traveling back and forth to bring and complete paperwork during the week.

Response:
This is all incorrect info, I would never tell a customer he or she is all set till the contract is signed due to the loan was not approved because due to the title was held for a week at the lien holder and I told them you have to wait a week and I would get them the truck they started giving me an attitude and saying I wanted it now and there was nothing I can do at this point. I told him come on down fi you want to talk and I will refund your deposit if you would like. Also it is not my responsibility to pay for any body insurance. His credit was ran 3 times due to he was a little kid and couldn't make up his mind which truck he wanted. His father then came to the dealership because he was told by me "Bob" to come down and get your deposit if he didn't want to wait the week, so then he came down very nice guy and was talking to him and understood the situation and give him a check and then he left. Next day I see this... I thank lord I did not sell him a truck since they are liars and just trying to make my business look bad.
Review: I purchased a 2005 [redacted] from Atlantic Motors LLC. I was informed the engine was in good condition and all necessary
maintenance had been done. I signed the bill of sale on 3/17/15 as well as took delivery of the vehicle on that day. I was lied to and told the title
was with the vehicle and when I asked for it they said it was at their [redacted] location. I recevied the title late Thursday afternoon and
went to register the vehicle at the Chicopee MA, RMV. On saturday (the first day this vehicle was on the road and driven) while driving the
vehicle it died while driving down [redacted] in [redacted]. I had to have this vehcile towed to my house. When I tried to contact the dealer they
refused to respond to my messges and calls. I also sent text messages to Bob ( the employee who solde me my vehicle). Before this incident
this would be a fast channel of communication now there is no response. I was told when signing the contract that the vehicle was "sold as is"
due to [redacted]. Bob also reported to me that no matter what happened they would take care of the vehicle "because they had been in
business a ver long time." I had the vehicle inspected at my residence by a trained and certified [redacted] Technician wh told me that the issue with
the truck was the head gasket. His exact words where, " whoever sold you this vehicle certainly knew of this mechanical issue". This company
disclosed information to me that the vehicle was brought from their other location in **. I now assume they reloacted this vehcile due to the
issues that it had. I beleive I gave this company the opporunity to make this right before making this into a legal matter. The vehicle I received
had been tampered with to by pass the issues it had.-words from " the certified [redacted] technician". I am very afraid of what this company and its
associates have done to previous customers and what they may do to furture customers. This "business" does very shady work and in my
experience/ knowledge are commiting fraud by the way they have presented this vehicle to me. The estimated cost of repairs is between
$4,500-$6,000 dollars. I also reached out to the previous owner of this vehcile [redacted] and they where able to look at previous
repairs and notes that specified repairs that needed to be done where fuel injectors, head gaskets, and others. They have this documentation
readily available if needed. If I choose to repair this vehicle I will be paying over $17,000 for a vehicle that is worth about $12,000.Desired Settlement: The business has refused to respond to any of the numerous calls and text messages we have sent. I have tried to contact them multiple times
and have been hung up on many times. Before the sale they had assured me they had throughly inspected the mechanical attributes of the
vehicle. After having this break down 1 day after I put this vehicle on the road it is evident that they have previous knowledge of this issue. I gave them the
opportunity to fix this vehicle, refund my money for the vehicle, or pay to have the vehicle repaired by a mechanic near my residence. They ignored those requests. Currently the
vehicle is in [redacted] at a local dealer who is investigating this issue. I would like this company to refund me the amount it costs to repair this vehicle. If this company
did nothing wrong they would have taken my phone calls and texts and responded to them.

Response:
This specific customer bought a really nice truck from us. Very clean [redacted] that has been super well maintained and it ran like a champ. He is making up stories saying the truck needs head-gasket when it does not. We bought the truck from the [redacted] dealer under green light with no issues. The customer is trying to write negative reviews everywhere thinking that's the way he is going to damage us but in fact he is making himself look like a fool. I would for you to bring the truck back to me and for me to personally go thru it and prove you that the truck has no head gasket issues. It does have over 200K miles but the truck was still in excellent shape. Come on down see me in person instead of talking [redacted] all over the internet.

I am rejecting this response because: This response has nothing to do with the truth. First off the vehicle I purchased only had 155,000 miles. This just shows the type of non ethical business that is done here. There is no story to make up in this claim. The truck has been in a certified shop in [redacted] and has had substantial work done to it. The total estimate I have now is over $6,000. The company "[redacted]" failed to return any of my calls or messages. They never once informed me to bring truck back or that they would help. As said in my original complaint they ignored, hung up and refused to communicate. I purchased the truck on 3/17 almost a month ago. They had ample time to assist with the issue I have. The truck is still in the shop and still is unable to be driven. A lie from this company is that the vehicle was in a "green light" status. The [redacted] dealership they purchased this vehicle from " [redacted]" of ** took this vehicle in on trade and listed out multiple repairs that would incur substantial costs to fix. This is the reason they sold this vehicle. There is zero doubt in my mind that Atlantic Motors new about this and fraudulently failed to disclose this. I will not give up this claim until the business admits they're wrong doing and agrees to pay for the repairs they neglected to fix themselves. I also have submitted formal papers with the [redacted] for this serious matter. The company had purposely ignored this issue. I was forced with no other option but to repair this vehicle myself.
Sincerely,
Business
Response:
Kyle the truck we sold you a used vehicle with almost 200k miles on it, not a new truck, we also sold it to you in a "as-is" condition which you knew about and you knew the truck was sold with no warranty due to high miles. The fact that you called and cursed us and started talking bad about us everywhere will bring you nowhere. Also you test drove the truck she ran perfect. You left the lot that day with a great running truck. What you did after wards with it is on you.

I am rejecting this response because: They are not offering any resolution to the problem vehicle they sold and knew about.
Sincerely,
Review: We purchased a vehicle from them and they promised to overnight a title last Wednesday. It is a week later no title we are now forced to miss a previously scheduled antique show in [redacted] which begins tomorrow. Also we will b fined by [redacted] motor vehicle for every day our transferred plates are not on vehicle. They did not have the title when they sold us this vehicle which I believe is illegalDesired Settlement: I would like 1000 compensation for motor vehicle fees as well as show booth rent and income lost from missed show. We would have sold much more than this amount however maybe this fine will keep them from lying about overnighting a title next time they promise to do this

Response:
[redacted] which sprinter did you purchase? please call us. All our vehicle have their titles in hands otherwise some take up to 7 days to arrive that is all described to you as well as on the terms of sale.Give us a call to take care of this.
Review: I purchased a vehicle from this company on [redacted]. When I tried to pick it up they attempted to give me a truck that wasn't even remotely close to the pictures posted on [redacted]. Wrong color, wrong size box, completely rusted out, wouldn't start. When I told them that wasn't my truck they tried to make me take it but when I outright refused they hid the truck in the shop so I couldn't take pictures of it. They also blackmailed me by with-holding my $500 deposit unless I gave them positive feedback on [redacted]. I drove 1700 miles round trip to pick up a truck that was switched. They were completely caught off guard that I arrived in person instead of having it shipped. They have since shut down their [redacted] registry and started under a different name.Desired Settlement: I would expect a full refund of my deposit ($500) along with $850 for the 1700 mile round trip expenses. All shipping companies charge $750-$1,000 to ship from [redacted] ,CT to Grand Rapids, MI.
I obviously cannot get my 2 days of vacation back that I had to use in order to drive that distance.

Response:
There was over 120 pictures of the truck that we represented including a [redacted] with the vin number. Buyer is making a completely false statement. He saw the truck in person and did not like some of the scratches which is normal on a truck 16 years old and because of it he was arguing. We held the truck for close to 2 months for him so we couldn't return the deposit for him.

I am rejecting this response because:
Their response is a complete lie. 120 pictures would have been great if the truck they tried to send me home with was actually the truck in the pictures. I did not drive 1700 miles round trip to not come home with a truck. The truck they attempted to give me was the wrong color, wrong size truck bed, completely rusted out on the rocker panels, unlike the truck in the pictures.
Review: On August 7th 2013 I took the 2.5 hour drive from ** to Atlantic Motors LLC [redacted] to see a 2006 black Chevy Silverado. After arriving there and testing out the vehicle I left a $200 deposit with [redacted] until I get the financing for the vehicle. I went to his wife's bank ([redacted]) to try to get approved. After the weekend, a good friend decided to buy the pick up on his credit card. He inadvertently gave the wrong credit card, which was charged over $6800. Was going to give the correct credit card, but we decided to give the info when we pick up the car and get the $6800 back. We never bought the truck because they didn't have and couldn't get the title from the auction, ok. TWO weeks went by and [redacted]) and [redacted], for whom I had both cell phone numbers would not answer their phones nor would anyone answer at the office!!! They must have caller ID, because I had a friend call with a west coast area code number and they answered right away, twice. The credit card company gave my friend provisional credit for the $6800, but never did we see a refund from them, except some bs web page which showed some sort of refund (which [redacted] never received on cc account, thank GOD for the provisional credit). I spoke with [redacted] three-four weeks ago, he said he just refunded the same credit card $200, (deposit was paid in cash). [redacted] never got the $200 either! Two months later I still haven't received my $200 back. I have the receipt signed by [redacted]. Everytime I call, same voice answers, but with a different name! They must have over 10-15 different salesmen! It is immoral to take someone's hard earned money and try to do away with it. What kind of a low person do you have to be to have anyone ask you for his/her own money back for so long and have no intention on giving it back? Has my $200 made you rich [redacted]? Oh but wait, it can't be just my $200 it must be from many others as well!Desired Settlement: I just want my $200 back. Preferably on a bank check or [redacted] money order. I don't trust these guys with regular check.

We sold [redacted] a 2006 Chevrolet over the phone. He called us and told us to hold the truck for 2 weeks until he gets approved. [redacted] bank couldn't approve him so he decided to go with his bank and never got approved. The whole point of putting a deposit is so we can hold the vehicle and not sell it to anyone else which is what we did and held it for him. When he couldn't get approved he wanted his deposit back after 2 weeks of us holding the vehicle for him. All deposits are non-refundable anywhere you go, it's always been like that everywhere you go, I don't understand why you would complaint about $200 when clearly we told you the deposit was non-refundable as well as the receipt that we gave you state the same thing.

I am rejecting this response because:
I did not purchase over the phone I was there in person I saw the huge garage/workshop they had in back ( I had to walk to the bathroom through there ). I asked [redacted] if I didn't get approved will I get my deposit back, he said "sure". I did not get approved, however, that's not the point! I wanted the truck and was going to purchase it, no matter what, on a credit card from a good friend of mine, which was processed and charged $6800. Wrong credit card was given and we wanted to give the right one and decided to do the transaction in person when we picked up the truck. It took them over two weeks to answer their phones for a refund of our money, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE THE TITLE FROM THE AUCTION!!! Finally the credit card company gave provisional credit and opened a case against atlantic motors llc. They never received the title for the vehicle, so they said. After waiting over two weeks for an answer and refund of $6800 on credit card and $200 in cash, after no phone answers and thievery, I gave up.
Yes I was there in person, the person at [redacted] bank in [redacted] that took the application was [redacted]'s wife, she was pregnant. It was never over the phone! If it was over the phone how would I have given you $200 in cash? there was no mention of the $6800 mishandling either!!!
Why would I complain over $200??? Because you stole it and you're full of lies!!! I have a shabby receipt signed by [redacted] for my $200, I was never there in person??!
What happened with the story of not getting the title from the auction? Or did you sell it to someone else for more money?
Sincerely,
Just bought 2[redacted] from Atlantic Motors. Below wholesale price and they waited after closing for me to drive from out of state. Once there I drove the truck home that night. Very happy with them. Amazing inventory of trucks.
Review: On November 17th 2012, the wife and I drove to atlantic motors to take a look at a 2005 Subaru outback xt that I had put a deposit on already. After taking it for a test drive we notices a whining noise coming from the car. We pointed it out to the sales guy and he also to took it for a test drive. After he got back, he said it was not a big deal it was only the center carrier bearing. Not knowing to much about cars and not wanting to lose my deposit money we believed as he assured us that it nothing was wrong with the car and the bearing would last 20,000 more miles. So we purchased the car and drove it home, three days and 300 miles later on the highway, the car break down leaving us stranded in the middle of the night. After thanksgiving we had it towed to a local repair shop, they diagnosed the problem as a bad bearing in the short block. I called the dealer back to tell him about the car, he replied with, "theres nothing we can do for you, its your problem now not ours". After several calls and attempts to get any kind of help they still refused to stand behind the car that they there was absolutely no problems with. After the $6,000 engine replacement was complete, the repair shop informed me the car also had a bad transmission. That cost me another 1,800 to get repaired, and now it also needs a new drive shaft. So now I'm here with $8,000 in repairs for a car that I spent $6,400 on.
Product_Or_Service: 2005 subaru
Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund of purchase price or help with the repair bills.

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2013/06/03) */
We sold Mr. [redacted] a highly modified 2005 Subaru WRX Turbocharged. Not only he didn't know how to drive standard he also never had a car before so this one was his first car ever. After a month he had blown the turbo on the car due to reeving it high each time he shifted thru all the gears. We spoke to the subaru dealer where he had brought the car to get it fixed and they told us that they smelled clutch as he drove the car to them and also the turbo was just blown. When the car left our shop it was in great condition mechanically, and its sad for the parents to buy their kids a highly modified car as a first car when they can't even drive it as well as blaming us for their kids irresponsibility. We stand behind each of our cars and were here to help our customers in anyway possible.
Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2013/06/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)
First I'm not a kid, I'm 28 and married. I have been driving standard since I was 16 and know how to shift. Do not make up lies because as a business you do not want to stand behind things you sell that are bad. The car was not modified, it was completely stock. Also I have all repair records available for review and it will show that what the dealer is saying is a complete lie. They will not help their customers in any way, once they have the money they are done. They did not offer to help me in any way, all I heard from them is once its off our lot, it is not our problem. The state of Connecticut also gave them a fine for not doing a required safety check.
Review: Won a item on [redacted]. Went in to start paper work and gave a $5000 cash deposit and was told that the finance person was not in for 2 days so I made arrangements to go in Saturday May 17th 2015 to finish business. They came up with all types of excuses as to why we can not finance the car when they guaranteed us finance regardless of credit. Most of the vehicles there are over 10 years so they know prior to purchase about financing and they are financing older mileage thru their finance dept. they never checked our credit which is good and told us without checking that we were denied. Person who I won the bid on is a different person who I was dealing with on [redacted]. Person I was dealing with sent me his name as Bob and the name on [redacted] is another. They are trying to say that we are not trying to pay for the truck but we gave them $5000 and were giving them another $5000 on Saturday October 17th the day we were suppose to pick up the vehicle and this was the deal that was made on October 12 that we were guaranteed finance. They told us to go to our credit union first which we did but they did not approve us because of the year of the truck so I explained this to them that we had to use their finance dept because the truck was too old and the owner said okay and then all of a sudden the finance person was out and when I received a call on Friday October 16th about 9:47 am I explained to them that I was and my husband Troy was at work also. I made arrangements with them to come up on Saturday after I got off work after 12 and I would call and so I did that and all this stuff about not being able to get the truck, keeping our $5000 deposit and was very rude and hung up the phone on us and then the person contacted [redacted] to say that we did not pay and all this is not true.Desired Settlement: Refund and be done

This customer bought a truck from us a 2003 [redacted] F-350 via [redacted].com On our terms of sale it clearly states that we do not finance and that you must have the funds available in order to bid/buy the truck. Anyways they bought the truck then they asked us to finance them. They put $5000 down and we told them we will try and see if we can find a bank that will finance their truck even though we do not do the financing, the bank responded to us that they cannot finance their truck due to its age 2003 and the truck was too old to get financed. We then returned their $5000 back and told them that the bank won't finance them and that they'll need to try another bank or come up with another solutions. These customers were the worst people i've ever dealt with since I been in business for 18 years. Very rude, very demanding, unprofessional customer that nobody should ever deal with, I tried and did everything for them but these are those type of customers that no matter what you do for them they will never be happy. I returned their deposit of $5000 back and I am done with them, I don't know what else they want from us? Tracy if you have any questions call me directly.
Review: We purchased a vehicle and warranty so we thought through Atlantic motors LLC,We had asked about a warranty and told them we didn't want the vehicle without one. after 60 days or so we had needed repair and found out the dealer never purchased the warranty.we talked to them about it and they tried to purchase another, knowing that to purchase a warranty you have to do so at time of vehicle purchase.I did not know this at the time. I gave them the mileage at that time and they put 500 or so miles less on warranty, I have text of this.I gave the warranty info to my repair shop and they told me the warranty company had to come out and look at the vehicle.the warranty company denied the claim do to a plow frame on the truck and that it falls under modification of vehicle and considered a commercial vehicle, which is not covered on warranty, I didn't know this at the time.I called the dealer again and told them what had occurred, they gave me another warranty and told me to take the plow frame off the truck because it is considered a commercial vehicle, the reason why we bought this vehicle was for a tow company, the dealer knew this from day one. This is the reason why I believe the first warranty was never purchased, and they just wanted the sale!!!the 3rd warranty company's info was given to my repair shop and it was denied do to not being bought at time of purchase of vehicle which I didn't know.Again I had called the dealer this was getting extremely old and about 70 phone calls and 10 weeks long no exaggeration. The dealer told me it was my repair shops fault because they didn't lie about how long the truck was in there shop and there was nothing they could doabout a warranty for the vehicle, which we would have never bought without one.NOW we are stuck with a truck with no warranty and a bill for over $4000.00 and Atlantic Motors still hasn't given me any money back like they said they would. This company has caller id and im working on close to 90 phone calls with many unansweredDesired Settlement: I believe this company should be responsible for giving the warranty money back and pay remainder of repair bill because we would never have bought the vehicle with out a warranty witch they new from the beginning

To whom it may concern,
I am writing this e-mail regarding complaint I received in the mail ( ID:[redacted] ). I disagree with the complaint because we did order the warranty for him and the warranty was a 3rd party company we have nothing to do with the warranty as their after market. They had denied his claim because there's certain things that after market warranty's cover. It was explained to the customer the things that the warranty company will cover and what they will not. So the customer needs to understand that. Again we have no control over the warranties.
