Additional tolls were reported to us by [redacted] after your first payment. Tolls are reported to us electronically and are not always reported at the same time. A copy of the toll details is attached to this response, indicating the times and locations of the tolls. We have determined that none of the tolls are duplicates.

 

As we stated in our previous response, we are happy to opt you in to the Platepass service at any time. This would reduce the total cost of all tolls and fees to $17.98 for this rental. As a one-time courtesy, we have issued a full adjustment to your account, including a refund of your $48.58 payment.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution still shouldn't take this long.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. I don't have much faith that this will be done in the time frame that was mentioned above as I have not trust in this company.  Why would I believe that they were going to take care of this problem when  I never received a return call as promised and the information in the above letter was never communicated to me.  So we shall see if this goes as described above.  Still feel that they lack in customer service and they don't have ethics.

While they continue to ignore the two main reasons for my complaint (charging of a toll which I have provided proof of payment for 3 times and a complete lack of communication (I advised them numerous times that I was not receiving their e-mails and required a call they still indicate they sent me more e-mails) I accept their offer as it effectively removes 95% of the charges.  I have already received credit from them and will not pursue this matter further as the outstanding charge is less than $1.00.

We unfortunately did not receive your payment. The additional fee of $106 was charged directly by the Polk County Clerk of Court. If you are able to provide evidence that we, ATS (and not the court) cashed your original check for $158, we will be able to issue a refund.

 

Again, once a violation has escalated to a Uniform Traffic Citation, any payment must be made directly to the court and ATS is no longer involved with the payment processing. Since no funds were received by ATS, we cannot issue a refund and any disputes must be directed to the court.

 

We apologize again and regret that we are unable to resolve this issue to your satisfaction.
