I had the misfortune of bringing in my Audi A4 for its 10,000 service this morning to Audi Arlington. I brought my car to Audi Arlington because I had acquired the car by lease from the dealership in December 2018.

My experience had not always been perfect; for example, I was told one story after another about why I could never receive a handbook when I was supplied the vehicle. "Tomorrow" and "we'll get back to you on that" have been pretty consistent excuses that I have grown tired of hearing, since I know when I turn in my car at the end of the lease I will be charged for not returning a copy of the handbook.

What I assumed today would be a pretty quick in and out given the fairly simple nature of the 10,000 service. became a multiple hour experience as I was offered every excuse for why the mechanics could not complete the job in less than 140 minutes.

Of course, they would have been happy to hold onto my car for additional time in order to wash it (somehow, after holding the care for over two hours, there was not enough time to put the car through a car wash without having me wait yet additional time), but I was already late for work, so I could not stay for some additional unknown amount of time. And, of course, I was told that anytime I want to take some additional time off from work and have my car washed because the mechanics screwed around enough today that it could not be washed, I should feel free to drop into the dealership for another adventure. Who knows how long it will take this time?

One additional point I want to make is that it was recommended by the mechanics that I have my tires rotated and have a wheel alignment. After my experience with these same mechanics this morning, why would I trust anything they had to say about what I should have done with my automobile?

I do not need to bring my car in for service to Audi Arlington, since there are other Audi dealerships and, if this is the treatment I can expect when I do bring my car in, you won't see me for awhile. Lee Peltzman 202-258-0290 [email protected]

It seems to me the warranty was already canceled and the client is disputing the amount of the refund for which we have zero control overThe warranty cancellation gets submitted by us once the client requests it, we submit it and the warranty company issues the refund.In this case we did our job, if the client has any issue with the amount, she should contact the warranty not us, we did our jobs as instructed by the consumer.Selim E [redacted] General Manager Audi Arlington

Mr, [redacted] ,I'm sorry about how we made you feel, our duty is to sell you a vehicle which passes VA state inspection, if there were additional requirements from you at the time of purchase, I'm sure those requirements could have been worked out with an adjustment in the price of the car, meaning charging a bit to cover the tire cost, which was not needed at time of inspectionIn regards to your plates, we do not process personalized tags as a company rule, the reason why we have to do the registration for you is because we are required to do so, whenever there is a lien going to be recorded on the TitleIn regards to the interest rate, yes there are many occasions when our banks could possibly not be as competitive as your credit union, and that is the route some customers take, this does not happen as often, so I'm very happy it worked in your favor this timeLeasing VS buying is a matter of opinion based on your driving habits, sometimes it is better to lease than to purchaseIn regards to you wanting to speak with me, it is the first time I hear of it, the receptionists have my email information as well as my direct extension, not sure who you spoke to as I never hide from any issues, whether good or badWe do not feel we did anything wrong based on your complaints, and we do not feel any monetary adjustment should be provided.Selim E [redacted] GM

I tried to speak with [redacted] yesterday 10/18/2017, but I was informed that because she is in contact with Audi North America and there was no need for me to be involved.

On July 12, *** *** came in to Audi Arlington and try to see what can be done to lower her payments on her Audi **, unfortunately because of the negative equity carried from her trade in, we were unable to reduced the payment by her desire amount of $however, we were able
to reduce it by $but she felt that it was not sufficient enough to make any changes and left

I appreciate that the policy has been looked into and the conclusion was that they were wrong about the registration policy. Although, after I finally did receive the title, I discovered that the dealership had not done the emissions testing required for registration in VA I was forced to return the car to the dealership to get it done This oversight is representative of the lack of professionalism I experienced I am rejecting this response because:This last response did not address my issue raised regarding the misrepresentation I was given regarding the status of the tiresThe GM previously offered an explanation saying that the salesperson could not have known the status of the tires I provided the specifications of the tires that clearly indicate that they are not rated for Winter and that they have warranty for only 20k miles This proves that they had the required information and they mis-informed me as to the status I have requested full reimbursement for a set of new tires - this is something I would have insisted on had I known their true condition A set of new tires costs ~$1, Having just paid over $50,000, I would not have agreed to pay an additional $1,after the fact Alternatively, Audi Arlington can buy the car back from me In either case, I will be forwarding my complaint to Audi Corp and providing history of this experienceI expected to experience a brand representing excellence This was a truly shameful introduction
