Review: I was quoted over $1,400.00 for an oil valve gasket replacement, a job that requires a $12 part and 2.5 hours labor. Service rep was evasive about the scope of the work and failed to provide a written estimate. Audi Arlington also refused to honor an Audi USA extended service campaign for a known vehicle flaw.

To whom it ma concern;
Review: On August 1, 2013, I negotiated an agreement with Audi of Alexandria (Salesperson - [redacted]) to lease a new Audi S7. A key part of the negotiated agreement included Audi of Alexandria taking ownership of my current vehicle as a trade-in (2010 Cadillac CTS) and executing a "pay-off" to [redacted] (the lien holder). Everything seemed fine. Advance to September 10. I received a phone call from Audi of Alexandria's Finance Manager ([redacted]) that they failed to determine the correct pay-off of the 2010 Cadillac CTS vehicle I traded-in. Specifically, they told me I owed Audi of Alexandria an ADDITIONAL $3,539.98. Upon investigation with [redacted] (which has EXCELLENT notes about the pay-off information provided to Audi of Alexandria), I learned that an employee of the dealership named, Bridgett, was told that [redacted] has TWO different pay-off amounts. The payoff for a dealership to purchase a vehicle and add it to its inventory is MORE then if the personal owner wanted to buy the vehicle. MORE to the tune of $3,539.98 Bottom line, Audi of Alexandria knew what the PROPER pay-off amount was when they called to get the amount from the lien holder ([redacted]). Audi of Alexandria needs to accept responsibility for incompetence in it's accounting department when accepting a vehicle as a trade-in and agreeing to satisfy the lien holder. This is also a potentially deceitful negotiation tactic in order to negotiate a deal and make it appear sweeter. I certainly would NEVER have accepted the deal if I knew it was $3,539.98 WORSE. Begs the question of why the dealership waited SO LONG to communicate this fiasco. To top it off, the dealership has since sold the vehicle. That's right, they sold a vehicle to which they still do NOT have clean title to! Unethical business practices stacked upon unethical business practices.Desired Settlement: For Audi of Alexandria to own up to their accountants mistake ([redacted]) by remitting $3,539.98 to [redacted] and release me from all attempts for reimbursement of the overage.

This issue had been resolved with the client and his payoff had been made.
Review: I purchased my used Audi through a Toyota and Volvo dealer and was told I would have to look in the owners manual in regards to when the next scheduled maintenance would be so I took the Audi to a VW dealer for scheduled maintenance. I then took the Audi to an Audi dealer 4mo later for another scheduled maintenance but brought it to the dealer this time because there was a problem with the middle break light that wasn't resolved at the VW dealer because it was working for them at the time. I also had a question about a grinding noise in the gas pedal. When I went to check out at the Audi dealer the service employee told me the car was still under warranty and that the maintenance would be covered. I asked if I would be able to be refunded by the VW dealer for a maintenance that wad under warranty and shouldn't have had to pay for and was told to get in touch with [redacted], the VW dealer. [redacted] told me they wouldn't refund my.money and to go through audis customer service. When I contacted audi they were to pull up the maintenance on the vehicle done by VW and called me back to tell me there would HR no refund. When I asked who I would be refunded by for services that were under warranty and therefore shouldn't have had to pay for they condescendingly told me there would be no refund.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded for the money I spent at the VW dealer on the maintenance that was under the Audi care warranty. Nothing was communicated to me by the Toyota/volvo dealer that this car was under warranty. This was at [redacted] in [redacted], pa. I had also gone to [redacted] Audi.

Response:
Dear [redacted],
I received your email from B.B.B, after reading it. I do not feel Audi of Arlington is responsible for paying a charge another dealership charged you for. If the Dealer missed checking if you had Audi Care I feel it is unfair for us to suffer the consequences. I would advice you to please get in touch with the service manager of that Dealership and try to get the situation resolved with him. The advisor should have checked whether you had Audi Care first prior to charging you for the maintenance. If you need anymore help I can be contacted at [redacted] My number is ###-###-####
Thanks.
General Manager.

Review: I purchased an extended warranty for my 2006 Audi **from Audi of Arlington 8/21/2014 for $6549.77. On 9/22/2014 I took the Audi ** into Audi of Arlington for warranty service (invoice # [redacted]) related to a power steering issue. The problem was diagnosed by the technician and the service advisor submitted the claim to the warranty department for coverage determination. Service advisor called back and stated that the Power Steering Pump, and all fluids were covered under the warranty I had purchased previously. Service advisor also strongly suggested that I purchase a power steering system flush during the time of the service. I was skeptical of purchasing the power steering system flush for an additional $175, because A) the warranty company had already agreed to cover the cost of all power steering fluid required for the job & the invoice clearly stated that the power steering system was bled and refilled as part of the warranty service. I think that considering the situation, up selling me on the power steering flush service for an additional $175 is unnecessary and unethical therefore I am requesting a refund in the amount of $175. I consulted several independent mechanics who advised me that since the warranty company authorized the coverage of replacing the power steering pump which included bleeding the system, as well as all power steering fluid therefore the power steering system flush which I was upsold on for an extra $175 was completely unnecessary and solely provided to me with the intent of increasing the dealerships revenue.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund in the amount of $175 which will make me whole for the wholly unnecessary power steering flush service

Review: On 05/23/13, I purchased a 2011 Audi S5 from Audi of Alexandria. On Friday, 05/24/13 I drove out of town to [redacted] for the week and on 05/27/13 my oil light came on. I was concerned about this because I just purchased the vehicle. I decided to take it to the [redacted]'s Audi dealership in Columbus, [redacted] to obtain a diagnostics check on my car. Based on information obtained from the Audi technician, my vehicles oil and coolant levels were not topped off prior to Audi of Alexandria (VA) selling me the vehicl. The technician had to actually add a quart of oil and top-off the coolant levels! This was unbelievable to me and that I was inconvenienced like this! Why would an "top brand" Audi dealership sell an automobile to a retired military veteran without the proper amount of oil in the car? This is totally unacceptable! On 05/30/2013, I contacted Audi of Alexandria and discussed this matter with [redacted] (would not give last name) Manager of Sales and he was very condescending and unprofessional. I am pleading for your intervention in this matter.
Sincerely,
[redacted] TSgt, USAFDesired Settlement: I'd like some sort of compensation for my inconvenience and a "written" apology from the sales manager of Audi of Alexandria ([redacted]).

Review: I purchased a vehicle from Audi of Alexandria on 10/14/2013. To date I have not received the permanent license plates for the vehicle. I'm made 8 phone calls to the company over the past two weeks. The first 4 calls I was routed to leave a voicemail. I left 4 voicemails and never received a response. I finally escalated to the GM, and he has not provided any assistance to me. My daughter (in her first car) is not driving on expired tags due to the dealerships unwillingness to assist me with the matterDesired Settlement: I want my license plates sent via same-day courier to [redacted]
