If they had this policy in writing before we purchased the countertop, we would not have ordered through them and doubt other customers would either.I went through my records to share our correspondence and found the following statement at the bottom: ----------------------------------------------------------------------*... concerns.I am sorry that Ms. [redacted] is unhappy with her composite
fencing. The information and pictures that Ms. [redacted] has submitted clearly
show that the fencing is "mushrooming" around the screw heads,
indicating that the fence panels are...

not properly installed. This is
restricting the natural expansion and contraction of the pickets, causing the
fence panels to warp. We would, respectfully, suggest that Ms. [redacted] contact
her contractor to have the installation issues addressed.We appreciate Ms. [redacted]'s patience and cooperation in this
matter.

Hoping we don't have the same issue down the road. Thanks for your assistance. I don't think they would have responded on their own.

I received the 3rd lite frame which finally turned out to be the correct part! HOWEVER, after removing the "defective" lite frame, it was very apparent that the lite frame was not to blame, but poor manufacturing standards were! The corner of the door where the draft was coming in was found to be approximately 1/2" thinner than the rest of the door! The lite frame was not cracked and the screw holes were not stripped. The lite frame in fact was performing as it should, but the door was defective! (Only took 4 months and 3 replacement lite frames to find that out!) I called Menards and the manager has ordered me a new door. My only hope is that their standards for hinge placement aren't as sloppy as the door thickness so that I will be able to simply remove the hinge pins and swap the doors.

purchased. Ms. [redacted] has been offered a replacement door slab, bored and
mortised to facilitate rehanging into the existing frame. That offer is still
valid. This satisfies the terms of the warranty, as labor and incident expenses

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]They are correct, I did finally receive the second replacement part on 11/13, however I discovered last night that yet again it is the wrong part! I contacted Menards and have filed an Installed Guest Complaint form in hopes that they can help me get this resolved. One of the most inconvenient aspects of dealing with this company is that there is no customer service phone number to actually speak to someone! They need to take the time and actually review my original order to figure out the parts they used to build my door! Hopefully it won't take another 18 days to get the next part from them...So my status of this complaint is ... Still waiting...
